He listened with interest as the Konti woman began to speak of her people and her gods…. He didn’t know of this Laviku or of this Avalis, nor of Rakkeli for that matter. It was all very interesting things to be sure, though he did have to turn his head to hide his embarrassment when he heard that the all-female race had to search for mate outside of their species. It was all very interesting… So in a weird way these gods were there parents, with Rakkeli being an aunt really.

He wondered about his own faith for a bit, and realized without any surprise that he had none. For as long as he remembered, neither he nor his parents had followed any god. He didn’t know why that is really….. But he now that his curiosity was piqued he supposed he should ask his Da who their gods were if any, and if he should find a god to follow. Along the same vein he supposed he should ask further about the Konti woman’s god.

“So….what are your gods about” Perhaps learning more about her gods would also help give him an idea on why to worship these gods, plus if he knew more about them it could help him more in understanding these Konti and other worshippers…information was key after all, it would keep him alive longer.

She was looking at him while she was telling her story. She was curious of his reaction. But she had to be disappointed. She saw interest there, she saw he wasn't making him bored and even he was wondering about something but no words came. She gave a big sigh and felt the situation being more and more awkward. The man was worrying and only was focusing on that. And it seemed he wanted to stick around till he paid his debt or so.

Her hand shifted under her cloak to her abdomen. She still couldn't believe it. She was carrying her daughter. And in here. This was just very inconvenient for her. But the gods and goddesses had other plans it seemed. Her thoughts shifted as he asked a question. She was surprised that he was speaking. Though his question was strange. Didn't she answered to that already? Or was he thinking about something else?

"Not sure what you mean." she answered, wondering about the answer. [b]"Well Laviku is the God of Sea, Avalis is the goddess of vision and Rak'keli is the goddess of Healing and health. I'm sure they are busy with their own domain. " What else she could say about them? She didn't know much, business of the gods and goddesses were not hers.

She was walking when she had an idea. "You know, you could guard me somewhere then. Come with me to the Quay, I have a place there where I work. " S'Essy without waiting for answer she was walking towards the place. She didn't expect he would object anyway. "I could probably teach you a trick or two to take care of yourself, deal? "
