A surreal cavern city inhabited by Symenestra where stones glow and streets are reams of silk. Cocoon like structures hang between stalactites and cascade over limestone flows in organic and eerie arabesques. Without a Symenestra willing to escort you, entrance is impossible.

"Elisanim and Cassidee... I think I would expect more from you two." While Valydor was not commonly a threatening man, the girls' who blatant disregard of his warnings had carved an edge into his voice. He appeared behind the girls suddenly, deciding to crawl up the wall instead of walk the stairs slowly. It was easier work to distribute his weight over multiple extremities, more than just the balls of his two feet. His hunter's instinct never left him, especially when it came to following others.

The older Symenestra waited for the two women to look at him, settling his icy purple stare on each of them before sighing. A smile cracked across his face, and he leaned against the frame of the entrance to the hunter's headquarters. His sudden relaxed composure confirmed his easy-going reputation. While he was swift to reprimand wrongs, he was not a man who didn't enjoy testing the limits, he was a hunter after all. "I understand your curiosity, but the least I request is that you two don't go alone. It's already become apparent that I can't stop you, but I would like to assist you."

Violet eyes flitted between the two girls as he waited for an answer. He didn't expect a decline, as he was now in control of whether the girls would be allowed to or not. His earlier words had been a warning but now there rested an underlying threat in his voice, one that didn't give the girls a choice in the matter.

Cassidee took a deep breath and turned to the other woman. “I am fine, I just forgot to breath.” Admitting this she turned a little red at her own stupidity. There was a guilt eating away at her stomach at she had to get off her chest first before she could do anything else. Her brief apology did not seem to make her feel any better. However there was something about the presence of the other woman that made her feel calmer. Perhaps it was because she had already seen Cassidee at her worst and did not yet hate her for it.

“It is a pleasure to meet you Elisanim.” Cassidee offered her hand, and gave a small smile. “I am Cassidee, and I cannot apologize enough for my previous outburst. While it is no excuse, the last few days have been very stressful for me.” Her tone shifted to a stiff and formal tone as if this had become a ceremony somehow rather than two people just talking. Quite intentionally she left out the name of her web purposely distancing herself from them.

“I would like to carry on, but I have made a grave error.” She admitted this, her mouth turning into a frown and the guilt resurging in her gut. It gnawed on her stronger than the growing hunger she was feeling. “In my anger, I ignored the fact that Ina had fell.” Cassidee looked away and out into the colorful city. “Was there anything we could do?”

Cassidee winced as she heard Valykdor condemn their behavior. The feeling of guilt that had just begun to settle in her stomach rose up again. With it came regret for her pervious words and actions. She felt as if she had just been caught sneaking out of the web after being forbidden to leave. I hate this feeling A pointless thought as few like to feel guilty. Slowly she turned to the man, his gaze cutting like a knife. His smile hurt more than the icy glare.

“I apologize.” Cassidee offered quietly her face turning red again. “My previous outburst was uncalled for and blatantly paranoid.” She admitted this and turned her gaze from him. “I will do whatever it takes to make amends for that behavior, but I gladly accept your aid.”
