Newly Arrived
Autumn 60th 514 AV, 13th Bell
Location: Riverfall Streets, Near the Docks
Byron readjusted the pack on his back as the quiver next to it would sway loosely on his left shoulder, his hand ran through the hair on his head as he looked down at the parchments he'd been given with an irritable look. An annoyed sigh followed as he tried to figure out which of these places would be the best choice to start with first, granted they needed to find a place to rent a room as well as eat, and then of course see about poking around the city to possibly find something that would help give them a lead for memory recovery. "Well this is getting annoying." He glared at the map as he looked at the places they could all visit, the irritation present in his voice as he continued to mull over the layout and figure out where it was they needed to go. Tailen had been looking at the advertisements that were additional with the map and scroll, his curiosity piqued as he read over several places that might be interesting.
"Maybe... I should take over looking at the map?" He offered as he tried to look at the contents drawn on there, however Byron was quick to avert it elsewhere after what he had just heard.
"And why's that huh? You don't think I can read a map?!"
"Well you're the one who said it, not me!" The little brother snapped as he crossed his arms, a sudden angry pout on his face as he pretended to reread the scroll containing the laws of this city.
"Is that so?! Well at least somebody remembers how humor works!"
"Least that's a start, granted you can't help but be serious all the time! And I thought you were the one who wanted come here, now all of a sudden you want to go back home!" Tailen argued as he faced his brother once more, already tired of dealing with the sudden change in Byron's attitude.
"Damn straight I do! But you don't see me getting back on the boat do you?! No, instead I'm right here trying to figure out where we're gonna sleep, and to top it off all I'm seeing is the large amount of blue in this city!" Byron irked as he refrained from pointing all around and shouting like an idiot, at this point the two brothers continued to go on with their argument as they bickered practically over nothing really. Insults related to Tailen's memory loss were a start but the topic led to which one was being the bigger baby really, which pretty much led the two to nowhere in terms of verbal debate since they both failed with appearing to act their age.
