The Dhani would merely give away a sigh, as he seen the blood being spread all over the boy's face. Why does everything in here have to be this tempting. For a moment, he imagined munching on the boy, as his hunger slowly started to come back, but, he forced himself, not to think about that. He looked away, closing his eyes, and taking a deep breath. He tried to bring himself on other thoughts, like warm deserts, and the hot midday sun. He managed to bring his hunger to a hold, and then risked a look around him.

As soon as his hunger vanished, Seliarus could feel his dizziness returning. Oh, seriously. This town is nothing but bad. Whatever he did, he wasn't feeling well. At this point, starting to walk would be the only good thing he could do. His Kelvic friend had returned back to him now, and he thought they could be leaving soon. That would be a good idea. He glanced over Nidae, then at the bleeding Kelvic on the ground and lastly back on starting on the ground.

Unfamiliar Streets (Nehsmay, Seliarus, and Lelio)

Postby Nehsmay on October 27th, 2010, 8:49 am

Nehsmay made her way towards the place of the commotion in a fast pace. However, what she didn't count on was being rudly pushed forward by others who were in a hurry.

"Get out of my way." An angry looking man shoved her aside and the vantha lost her footing and stepped on a fruit peel that had been thrown on the street. She slipped and was proppeled forward knocking over a person who was standing next to a fallen boy.

"Ouch..." she yelped and looked around trying to see whom she had landed upon. "Curse this city!"

OOCI'm guessing that the "person standing next to a fallen boy" is me. If not, let me know and I'll edit my post :)

Nidassasyae snarled in surprise as she felt someone knock her over. The girl fell to the cobblestones, hissing as the stone scraped against her cheek. "Shyke," muttered Nidae, using a word she had recently heard in the crowd.

The leopardess pushed herself up, and away from the one who had landed on her. All this was just too much. The city, noise, people, and now someone had landed on her? If she was in her animal form, her hackles would certainly be raised. Nidae was fully prepared to pounce on the clumsy person, and show them exactly why they should be more careful next time, when she noticed their face.

"Nehsmay!" shrieked Nidassasyae, throwing her arms around the Vantha. The scrape on her cheek stung, but she paid it no mind, restored to her full cheerfulness at the sight of the Vantha. "We were just looking for you. I got a job, and the funny job lady gave me a piece of parchment with scribbles on it," the leopard started rambling, so relieved that Nehsmay had found her. While Seliarus had kept her sane so far, Nidae needed someone who wouldn't start freaking out at the mere mention of walls or noisy people.

The Dhani was simply losing himself. He backed away for a few steps, and simply stood there like a statue. His pale skin could easily be mistook for stone just about now. His head was filled with false information on what a city should look like. No wonder he was avoiding them till now. He shifted his weight on his left leg, and took a deep breath. He tried to speak, but something caught his attention. Nidae was knocked down. By...Wait, could this be?

Even though he looked at the two from the side, he could recognize the wearing. It really was, the Vantha they were looking for. When the Kelvic yelled her name out, that simply confirmed his assumption. He tried to smile, but couldn't. Everything was spinning around, but on the sight of the Vantha, he managed to calm down. Just a bit, so he wouldn't collapse on the ground. He simply looked at Nehsmay for a moment, relaxed that they found her, even though they haven't even started to search. He sighed in relief.

Neshmay! the young boy echoed with enthusiasm right after Nida, his smile turning wide on his bloody face.

She got a job, and I just fell down the rooftop! he went on with much excitement.

Lelio's face was still smeared with blood and although he wasn't critically wounded at all he sure looked like he could drop dead any minute now. Small injuries to the head could look so serious when almost harmless - though the opposite was true too. The lad seemed to be filled with joy meeting the strange city-hating trio for reasons unknown - perhaps he always was? Not a single outward sign of timidity or etiquette whatsoever.

He raised his hands to give Neshmay a little "hello" sign by waving them in the air (which somewhat looked idiotic) and went back to trying to wipe his face off.

"Nidae!" Nehsmay cried out in joy and hugged her friend back. Her knees hurt from collapsing on the ground, but that mattered little now that she had found her friends. "They're so many people here and they chatter constantly and they push you around and shove you put of the way and poor Shade was going crazy so I took him to the stables, but I got lost afterward. You got a job, that's so great..." she rambled in joy. She turned towards the boy when she heard him say her name and paled. "Oh dear, are you ok? There's blood all over your face." She took out a handkerchief and tried to wipe the blood away, but in vain.

"Let's get out of here. There's a stream just outside the city where you can wash. Everything is so stuffy here..." she glanced at the two friends seeking their approval. She was already tired of this city full of life. It was too crowded for her sake.

"What do you guys think?" she turned towards Seliarus and noticed he had a hard time keeping himself from either fainting or going on a rampage. Oh yes, Avanthal was so much better than this city.

Nidassasyae's ears pricked up. Nehsmay told them to get out of here? Oh joy! She scrambled to her feet, holding out a hand for the Vantha. It seemed that the trio, so excited to reach the city this morning, had suddenly changed their minds. Nidae didn't want to go into the city more than she had to, to sell what she had hunted, and look for her family. She doubted that they would be here, the knights didn't seem to be the sort to keep slaves, and she hadn't seen any around here.

Eyes half closed against the glare, Nidae gave a small yawn. She wondered if they were still going to stay at Traveler's Row, or end up outside the city walls. As if remembering something, the leopard turned to Nehsmay. "For hunting, I'm gonna need to find a preserving kit and sled. The lady at the job place gave me this," she handed the paper to Nehsmay. "I think the marks show where the butcher is, but I don't know how to decipher them. Do you think that maybe later we could go get these things? I've got the money, but I can't, for the life of me, find my way around."

The Dhani sighed. Just like once to many times after entering the gates. It just didn't felt right. He looked over the three in front of him, and took a deep breath. He was slowly calming down, none the less, as he realized that if he wont do anything against the feeling, he'll most likely do something stupid. So he tried to shrug the feeling away. He knew it would come back at some point, but hopefully then he'll be ready.

He decided to shift a bit forward, and fold his arms on his chest. His head tipped to the side, and his weight was shifted on his right foot. He hisses lightly, trying to think of something. The wild cat Kelvic seemed to have calmed down once Nehsmay came. And the flying child... Well, he looked like he cracked open his skull and suffers from an eternal bleeding, but, he was fine. So maybe it wasn't that bad after all. If it was however, well, then the Dhani will have dinner tonight.

He didn't say anything, and simply stood there, waiting for the rest of the party to decide on where to go. Even though he was thinking about going to the tavern the lady in the Center advised him. Even if a tavern is full, there are less people there than on the streets. So he should be alright there. Yet, he felt quite selfish thinking that way, and so he decided he'll simply go there once they are busy with something else.

Unfamiliar Streets (Nehsmay, Seliarus, and Lelio)

Postby Tohka on October 28th, 2010, 3:07 pm

After days of wandring through the forest facing the mud, twigs, the roots she triped over, and all the evil trees. She was NEVER going back to that place, Everstone Forest, was so cursed. It was a relief to be steping on the smoth cobblestone, but the city was crowded. Tohka was probably more lost here then in the forest. Her plan, to go to the city and meet new people, well was laking in detail. Let's face it her intire plan was one scentance. She made it to the city, which was the most important thing, but in this hustling crowd of people she reallly couldn't just stop moving, and start talking.

After awhile of moving with the crowd she fealt really nervous. Then someone ran right into her knocking her off balance Tohka leaned on a stranger in front of her. Which didn't please the stranger as he turned around to yell at her. Meanwhile Tohka was growling at the person who pushed her, scaring away both strangers. Now she was back in the flow of trafic steaming with anger. She walked into an emptier street still growling.

There were a few people there, but in a rage Tohka didn't notice them. After a few steps she turned and punched the wall, very hard. Slowly letting go of her anger. "Tch" Even though she wasn't angry she was still in a bad mood. She pulled back her fist, which was red and quite painfull. She just stood there growling, staring at the wall now angry at it.

Ye- nh- eh-, Lelio vainly tried to answer while trying to dodge Neshmay handkerchief (and failing to do so).

Darn that human was skilled with her hand. But as her gaze left him for her two friends, the motion stopped... just long enough for Lelio to bite that handkerchief away! The playful Kelvic gave the strange item a munch or two, then made a little grimace bordering incomprehension.

Muumfff Neshmeh! Itf don't tfest gooff! he complained with a tiny bit of handkerchief still coming out of his mouth.

His frown soon turned into a happy stare as he noticed Tohka wandering not too far from them. What she was doing here he had no idea - nor did he really care. She seemed just as lost as usual, that funny wolf! Lookie here, she was growling at a wall! Amusing amusing!

MMMMMMMMffffffffff! TFOKA! CFOM FH- *spat* Come here! he yelled while waving to his newly met friend.

Of course, that was hardly the most intelligent thing to do. Having a face covered with blood and a piece of tissue in the mouth, Lelio looked like a kidnapped youth trying to draw attention from the crowd. That being said, Lelio didn't care - he never did.
