15th of Winter, 514 AV

Sparks flew from the flint and steal into the the pile of wood. The spark turned into a warm, glowing fire. Kaik sat in a chair a distance away from the hearth absentmindedly staring into the flames. The dolls sat an even farther distance away from the fire as instructed by their master for obvious reasons. Chimes pass till it was soon time for Kaik to leave, but this was no ordinary trip to work or for supplies...no, it was once again time to visit his beloved Ellen. However, Arya and Iris were to be left at home for this trip. Iris still had no clothes yet and Arya had already been to the grave before, so Kaik decided to bring Oliver and Lina along on the trip.

It was for trips in mind that Kaik had bought a belt pouch large enough to fit Lina. Now he did not have to worry over her falling and being trampled by the unknowing crowds.

“Bye Arya, bye Iris...we’ll be home soon, so take care of the house,” Kaik said as he closed the door shut. He watched as his breath became a puff of smoke before taking his first step toward the graveyard.

Kaik’s walk to the graveyard was filled with thoughts of Ellen and his encounter with the grave robbers. Why did I kill them? Shouldn’t I feel guilty over their deaths? But they were the ones who dared to ruin Ellen’s grave...argh, it’s been seasons since then...must I worry about this? Thoughts ran wild as he slowly made his way to his destination. Upon his arrival to the graveyard a quick glance around showed that it was empty, just the way Kaik prefered it. A pile of snow had piled on top of Ellen’s gravestone, but the name was still visible. Kaik knelt down close to the gravestone despite the snow and said what needed to be said, Oliver stood closely behind him.

Kaik’s voice was barely audible so that only he and Ellen could have heard. “Hi Ellen...I-....it’s been awhile since I last visited.” Lina was becoming restless inside the belt pouch, “Not now Lina. Are you mad Ellen? Heh...of course you are...what I did that day...it-...wasn’t it the right thing to do? I couldn’t just let them do that,” Lina persists, “argh! Not now Lina! Why did I bring you? Goodnight, till we see each other again.” Lina stops moving. “They would have disturbed your sleep! Not only that but they would have killed me. Wouldn’t it been better if I had died that day so long ago? I know, I know...I have to live, I must,” he placed a hand on the tombstone, “but Ellen...I-...miss you so, so much…” Kaik stands back up and wipes away the tears, “C’mon Oliver, time to leave.”

He walked toward the gates of the graveyard somberly with his eyes looking down on the ground. The familiar sound of crunching snow became evident to him as a tall lady soon appeared from the gate. Kaik paid the lady no mind and continued to walk, but of course it seemed fate felt different about this encounter. The lady fell down clutching her heart, Kaik promptly came to the women’s aid asking if she was alright, he soon knelt down next the lady to see what was wrong. But then the stranger stopped clutching her heart and instead began to chuckle. Confused Kaik said, “Um is something wro-” the lady interrupted, “Ha...I found you...Mr. Leyr!” Suddenly Kaik could feel pain to the back of his head.

When Kaik had woken up he was greeted by two things, one would be the pain in the back of his head, the second would be the odd smile of a tall stranger. It was clear to him that he was not in very good situation made obvious by his arms, legs, and neck being chained to a stone wall. In fact it appeared he was inside some kind small prison cell. The stranger sat on a wooden chair inside the cell. She had brown hair and blue eyes, her clothing consisted of a white one piece dress, though the most noticeable things about her was height and the mace she held.

To describe Kaik’s feelings at that moment it would take just one word...shyke. He was wearing some old rags and the location of his dolls and equipment remains unknown. It was a dire situation to be in.

“Oh how I’ve just waited for this! He he...oh how much fun this will be! Hello Mr. Leyr, how are you?” she said.
“...wh-where....who are you?” Kaik said still groggy from waking up.
“My my can’t believe I just forgot introductions. Silly me. My name is Melissa. Now it’s rude to ignore questions! So tell me,” Melissa stands up and swiftly delivers a punch to the face “How. Are.You.” It stung but overall Kaik felt it much better than a taste of the mace.
“H-hor-rible,” he said.
“Oh? That’s good. We’re gonna have fun all night long. Hmm, well do you know why you’re here?” She said licking her lips.
“No.”
“You took care of two of my men a long while ago. I’ve made sure to keep a very close eye on you ever since then. Now you would assume I did this for revenge but no... I find you cute...and very very profitable. See I don’t give a flying rat’s shyke about those two fools, but you...you have what none of my petching idiots have,” Melissa laughed, “ah I can’t forget that day. It just gets me so excited! I remember giggling as I watched you just staring down my men, you just walked forward and what followed...even when the man begged for life you killed him and laughed it off. A bloody mess. But worry not for I cleaned it up just for you!” She said.
“W-what? You just...cleaned it up? Why?” Kaik said.
“For you of course! I want you. Need you. I won’t let the Shinya have you or anyone else.” She said grinning.

What the petch is this!? How am I even supposed to respond to that! Ridiculous, she wants me because I killed her subordinates...how petching crazy is this lady!?!

“You will be my servant. So before I begin beating my superiority into you do you have anything to say?” Melissa said.
“Where is he? Whe-where is Oliver?” Kaik said.
“Oliver? Hmm...oh you mean that thing? Well my boys are having ‘fun’ with it right now, I suppose selling it could make us a few coins.”
Though it irritated him, he knew that Oliver was still alive and that was a comforting thought.
“What are...what will you do with me?” he said.
“Didn’t I tell you? Join my business willingly or I force you to join. Personally I’d prefer you choose the latter, been awhile since I last had some fun,” she said.
There was no way Kaik was going to join this absurd ‘business’ of hers, so he said, “I’m not joining you.”
“Joy! Let’s have some fun then...ah before that...you willing to tell me who this ‘Ellen’ girl is, can’t have her ruining our little relationship.” Melissa said holding up a silver ring.
“...give me the ring,” Kaik said with an edge to his voice.
“Now now...a ring is nothing to get fussy over...especially if it belongs to some dead girl,” she said with a grin.
“Give me the ring.” he said.
“I like those eyes you have on right now. It’s the eyes of a natural born killer,” she puts on the ring, “pretty.”
“I WILL PETCHING KILL YOU!” he yelled.
“Heh...will you now?” Just as she said that her mace comes flying into Kaik’s side, he cried out in pain.
Melissa walked even closer to Kaik and placed both her hand around his collar with a smile. “They call me Grinning Melissa. I wonder what they would call a killer like yourself? One has to wonder where those lovely scars you got came from.” she said.
Kaik looked at the women with rage, he refused to show the fear he held. He could not move away as the girl came ever closer to his face.
“I have so many things prepared for you, but let’s start with this,” she kissed him. Kaik returned it by biting her lip, blood trickled down her lips as she pulled her face out.
“Ow. Aren’t you just adorable,” she licked her lips, “ tasty...your turn.” She threw a direct punch to Kaik’s face and continued the onslaught until she saw blood.
“Hey where’s my tattooist! If I don’t see him I’ll cut off a finger for every chime he’s late!” she yelled outside the cell.
Loud steps could be heard coming from outside the cell as the tattooist arrives with his tools in tow.

No no no...you have to be kidding me...please let this be some cruel joke. This must be a nightmare.

Reunion

A joke it was not as Melissa showed off her own left arm, “I’m sure you noticed by now these tattoos of mine, cute aren’t they? What better reminder of what you are than it being etched into your very skin! A constant reminder that you and I are heartless killers! Ha ha ha!” she said with her sadistic laugh, “stay still else it’s gonna hurt a lot more than it’s suppose to. Ok Mr. Tattooist you know what to do, make sure it’s exactly like mine...or else I get to play tattooist on your body!” Melissa sat down on a chair her arm still visible to both the tattooist and Kaik.

To Kaik it felt as if his entire right arm was on fire as the black ink was carved unto his skin and this continued for at least a bell or more not that Kaik was thinking about time. Thinking about time would only make the situation feel even longer than it actually was, so instead he thought of Ellen. It helped him keep his mind off the pain. Until then he never tried to look at what was happening to his arm so of course it was then he looked. Indeed the tattooist was doing his job well, an exact copy of what Melissa’s arm looked like. Kaik looked toward Melissa with pure hatred while she returned his hate with a smile, “Just about finished, now turn around...unless you want to say otherwise?” Melissa said. Reluctantly Kaik turned albeit in an awkward motion given that his limbs were chained to the wall. On the back of his shoulder were wings, down the arm was a peculiar design, and on top his hand was something akin to a diamond like shape.

“Nice. Interesting design don’t ya think? Ironic in some parts and similar to what we are in others. The wings for example seem holy yet farther down you see the dagger. And what of the symbol on your hand? Found it in some kind of book, looked cool and seemed appropriate for this city of magic. Heh just look at us we-....what the petch are you still doing here Mr. Tattooist?” she said.
“W-what? I-I- was gon-gonna go...right now,” the tattooist said petrified.
Melissa stood up from the chair and looked down on the man, “Leave. Now. Be happy I didn’t feed ya to the dog.”
“Y-y-yes! Thank you Ms. Melissa!” the man quickly made his way up the stairs.
“Where were we? Ah yes, look at you with those eyes of yours...and with those tattoos we match. Just imagine how much fun it would if we just worked together, the rivers would be filled with blood!” she said excited.
“I am...n-ot like you.” Kaik said.
“Oh really? Tell me...if you could, would you kill me?” she said.
“...I’d ki-ll you...cu-t you...han-g you...bur-n you alive,” Kaik said.
“You sure do know how to make a girl giddy, heh nothing like me you say...don’t deny reality Mr. Leyr, you enjoy killing...that’s what we are. These marks on our arms were always on us the moment we took our first life!” Melissa said laughing.

Nothing like you! I’m not a killer. I’m not. No. No! I hate you. I don’t enjoy killing! I hate you. Don’t think we have anything alike. You forced this petching symbol on me! I killed them to live, to protect those I care for! I’m not a killer. I’m not.

“I am nothing like you. I kil-led them because I had to. It was my life or theirs,” Kaik said.
“Okay, fine...let me tell you a story...once there was a young girl living with her happy family. One day this happy family wanted to move to a better home in a faraway place, so they were slaughtered by a group of bandits on their to a new home. The girl lived, though it was not by running away. No, she was ordered to kill her parents in exchange for her own life. It was then the bandits took her in. ‘It was her life or theirs’. Eventually the girl grew older learning the skills of those she hated. She then killed those who had wronged her, each slowly and with a smile had reached her goal. Nothing left. Endless killing. Don’t tell me your petty excuses Leyr for I know what we are.” Melissa said without a smile.
Silence filled the cell until Kaik said, “I will not follow you.”
“Just when I find one of my own kind, he rejects me and his own nature. Fine. Let me show you what we are.” she said.

Reunion

First Melissa began with the legs. One swing of the mace for the left thigh, two for the right. Next she used her fists to unleash a fury of hits to the stomach, sides, and chest. Breathing became a challenge for Kaik and to accompany that was the constant pain surging throughout his body. Truly he wished for the pain to stop but he refused to submit to the will of the lunatic in front of him. Soon Melissa did take on the look of a lunatic as her dress was splattered with blood, and she of course planned to take on that look.

“Bah this is no fun, but I have just the tool,” Melissa said. Moments later she returned with a whip in hand, it should be noted that her mace was leaning on the chair. “Now then...let’s get started, unless you feel like giving in?”
“Pe-tch...yo-u,” Kaik said in defiance.
“Heh good to hear,” she said with a chuckle.

Melissa forcefully turned Kaik over to bare his back. Kaik let out a painful cry as she began whipping him till red slits appeared all over his back. When it was done Kaik fell to the ground grateful he was given enough chains to do so.

“That’s enough marks on ya I suppose.” She then yelled up the stairs, “what time is it?”
“Looks to be midday,” an unfamiliar voice said back.
“Heh amazing what one can accomplish given half a day,” she said to Kaik.

Midday!?! Mid-petching-day!?!? How can it be midday? Are the gods enjoying this little, fiendish display of my misery?

Upon thinking that his current situation was the work of a god Kaik began to laugh in agony. What little sanity Kaik held on to was wiped out by the laughter.

“Wow seems like you broke, just what I want to see...your true self! Though I’d love to see you descent to madness I think I’m going to enjoy the occasion with some alcohol. Do be sure to accept my offer next time love, bye bye.” Kaik was then left alone to stew in his own delusions.

Ellen appeared in front of Kaik sitting on the chair with a familiar smile. “E-l-len? Is th-at...you?” he said warily.
“Yes Kaik, it’s me. I missed you, how have you’ve been?”
“It’s be-en...tough...with-out you,” Kaik said.
“Oh...I see...Kaik it’s going to be okay...we’ll be together soon, okay?” she said.
“Y-ea-h...that...soun-ds...nice.” Slowly Kaik closed his eyes ready to be together with Ellen once again.

At that moment Lina had been working her way out from under two sets of leather armor along with a few daggers. Reaching the top of the pile she could finally see light through little holes in a chest. The chest she was in was located outside of Kaik’s cell and was not locked or in the best of the shape. Melissa felt no reason to have gotten a better chest and lock for she had assumed chaining up every single limb of a person would have guaranteed escape was impossible. And so Lina very easily opened the chest to hop down unto the ground and looked for her master.

It seemed that Kaik’s reunion with Ellen was not meant to be as a sudden stirring opened Kaik’s eyes. It was not but a moment ago he had given up hope, but as he looked upon the little, wooden doll that was tapping on his leg Kaik knew that he still had a chance. He patted the doll’s head with a quavering hand happy to see it was not an illusion. Even if he had wished she had awakened bells before his torture began like she was programmed to do he was still grateful to see her. Now came the question of how to escape from his captivity.

In a hushed voice Kaik said, “Lina, I need you to get that key there,” he points at the key on top a table in front of his cell, “climb the chest, then get on top of the table, bring the key to me, understand?” She nodded and went to retrieve it. A few chimes later she returned with a key in both her hands. Quickly Kaik released himself from the chains and proceeded to the cell door. Another click later Kaik had just as quickly adorned his equipment and picked up two daggers, though the pain from before was still present. He placed Lina inside his belt pouch and slowly made his way to the steps of the stairs dagger in hand.

Voices spilled from the upper level even through the door at the top of the stairs.

“Hey boss why’d you make us kidnap that guy? Is he gonna make us more of these...’things’?” A female voice said.
“Well that could make us some money, but it’s for other reasons...he’s the one I’ve been looking for....one of my own kind,” Melissa said.
“Huh? Ain’t you human like us?” One male voice said.
“Yeah! Besides he isn’t like us. Just some coward who got lucky killing two of our group.” Another male voice said, to Kaik it sounded like the tattooist.
“Argh! You lot are idiots. You think dumb luck got both of our own killed? I saw with my own eyes the things you three don’t have the spine to even consider,” Melissa said.
“So what? We only need to steal to get by, why kill?” The unknown woman said.
“Heh it’s not about just taking a life, but the actual person himself. How many times have I gotten my hands dirty for you miserable lot? About time another helped take care of that shyke. Now pass me another cup of-” Melissa said.

Kiak stepped away from the bottom of the stairs and into his cell.

Sounds like there’s four of them out there including that Melissa. Just have to wait for her to come back here, I’ll have advantage. Once their leader is gone, how am I gonna take care of the rest? Then there’s Oliver as well. Three to one. Two to one if I can get to Oliver. Perhaps I can scare them into leaving? Showing them a dead Melissa could work. Shyke! I’m in no condition to drag her up the stairs. What if I chop off the head? Is that even possible with a dagger? I think Oliver’s dagger could do it, a cold-iron angle-knife, looks sturdy enough...no no can’t take the chance of it not working. What other choice do I have? I can’t take them on face on. Theres also the chance it only just make them angry. Wait...oh….I-....can always do that….how long would it take? A few steps must be skipped to make quick, one bell at least? I hope this works.

The cell was made to be a solid room with only the front having metal bars, Kaik took advantage of this fact and waited for Melissa inside the dark cell. He placed his gauntlets on the ground not wanting to get them bloody. Footsteps come down the stairway as Kaik held his breath.

“Ready to submit? Or do I-...what th-” Melissa stared both at Kaik and the dagger that was plunged into her stomach. Rage took over Kaik as he stabbed her over and over till he heard her breathe no more. Miraculously Melissa still lived to say this, “J-us-t li-ke...me.” He placed the blade unto her neck and said, “Thi-s is n-ot the end of you....you….you are go-nna suffer...ev-en in death.” Melissa grinned as the blade made its way across her neck. Kaik reached for his silver ring and placed it back on his left ring finger.

Reunion

Kaik used the blood of Melissa to draw two circles connected by a line inside the cell. Melissa was already inside a circle so Kaik only had to place Lina inside the smaller circle, the source circle which would transfer information to the destination, which would be the dead body. Kaik knew he did not want to feel a sense of attachment toward her as is the case when using himself as the source. Pulling the wrist dagger from his gauntlets he cut a small slit on his thumb to let his own blood drip on the circle. The circle glowed a sinister red, fitting considering what Kaik planned to do.

This will be the first time I've animated a live body, hopefully the process is no different from what I normally do.

The first step began with creating the soulcore, the basis of identity, to do so Kaik ordered Lina to think of the name Melissa. Kaik then focused on directing this information to the destination, Melissa’s appearance, her nickname Grinning Melissa, it all formed the identity.

The first sitting over Kaik did not take a break and continued on to the second stage. The creation of the persona, which involved setting up memories and concepts. Kaik focused on one of Lina’s directives, loyalty to Kaik. Memories of Lina faithfully following and doing what Kaik asked of her were transferred over to the body. After directives came intelligence, but the only thing Kaik needed for her to know was language. This was the most lengthy process because there are many concepts to learning a language, knowing what the letters meant, how the letters form words, and how those words can form sentences, not to mention what those words and sentences meant.

The final step was forming the astral body, giving the animation the know how of movement.

“Stay in the circle Lina, but just moves your arms and legs,” Kaik said.
Lina does so while Kaik focused on these movements making sure that every bit of information pertaining to movement was transferred.
“Good, now just look at me and listen to my voice,” he said and Lina obeyed.
Sight and hearing were the only things required of the animation since Kaik needed only those to complete his plan. Given some time Kaik finally feeling the transfer complete said the final words, “Awaken.” The corpse rose to it’s feets as the dull glow of the circle ceased, it appeared Kaik had successfully created what could only be described as a zombie.

Kaik placed his hands on his face scared of what he has become to have resorted to such a method. Taking his hands off his face he stared at the collar that was etched into his skin, just looking at it brought strong feelings of hate. He ordered the corpse to kneel before him so he could land a good punch to her face. The animation fell down, but did not look to be in pain.

Kaik took deep breath and focused on his true objectives, save Oliver and escape. “Get up Melissa,” he said and “Melissa” does as she was programmed to do. Kaik placed the mace leaning on the chair unto the palm of her hand. “Okay, when I say ‘kill’ you do this,” he swings his own dagger at the air, “to the person I point to until I say to stop. Understand?” The animation stared at Kaik.
“If you understand nod your head.” She does so. “Good. Now follow me.”

Grabbing Oliver and running was not possible given Kaik’s condition, so the only option was to fight which still required a lot from Kaik. He gripped his dagger even tighter as he reached the door to the main floor. He opened the door.

A lit hearth was to the far right of the room, to the middle was a table where Oliver was sitting while around it were chairs that the enemy sat in. Upon spotting Kaik, the unknown women warned her companions who then picked up their weapons. The women held a cutlass, one man held a round, metal shield and handaxe, while the tattooist held a short sword.

“What are you doing here boy!? How’d you escape?” said the women.
“Put down the dagger and get back in your cell!” said the tattooist.
“Melissa. Where is she?” said the man.

Kaik walked out from the doorway and it was then the trio could see Melissa, bloody with a visible mark on her neck.

“M-melissa? What did-...that slit on your throat...how...how are you alive?” said the women.
Kaik pointed at the man with a shield and said, “Kill him.” Melissa walked toward the man.
“W-w-wait! What are you doing Melissa!?!” The man said backing away slowly.
“It’s magic! He did something to her! Turn it off you petcher!” Said the women who also began backing away toward the door.
“Oliver. Come here,” Kaik said.
“Y-es, Fa-ther,” Oliver replied. The trio were too far away from the table to do anything as Oliver made his way to Kaik’s side. He placed the cold-iron angle-knife in Oliver’s hand.

The battle had already commenced as Melissa began wailing at the man’s shield with her mace. “Stop it! Melissa listen to me!” The shield man said.
“Okay we-we...just need to kill that guy! Y-yeah the magic will stop then! Hey!” she pointed at the tattooist, “you’re with me! Let’s get him!”

The women approached from the left side while the tattooist was on the right side. In a hushed voice Kaik said to Oliver, “Kill that women, focus your attacks on the legs, then if she falls go for the neck.” Oliver nodded to acknowledge the order. Kaik faced the tattooist unsure of how much more his body can take.

Never had Kaik faced an opponent in a fair fight, usually he resorted to surprise or his dolls. To make the situation worse his wounds have severely dampened his movement. Kaik turned the dagger so that the blade faced downward while keeping an eye on the enemy. The tattooist lunges forward holding his sword with both hands. Kaik strafes right just barely missing the blade. Kaik quickly took his chance and plunged his dagger into the tattooist's back, he screamed in pain and wailed his sword around. Kaik moved back to avoid the wild swings. Given the short break he looked over to Oliver.

“GAAHH! My leg!” The women screamed still standing, “Die you piece of shyke!” She swung her cutlass but Oliver had already slashed her other leg as she was yelling. The women could not take the pain anymore as she collapsed onto the ground. Being the loyal doll he is Oliver followed through with his orders, he held the dagger with both hands as he chopped down on her neck.

Kiak flipped over his dagger again ready for the second assault from the enemy. The tattooist was also watching as his friend was killed and so put all his anger into one final attack. He charged forward with his sword high in the sky. Kiak knew it was the end and so he too charged forward holding his dagger with both hands, but he was aiming for the stomach. The tatooist’s sword fell to the ground as he stood lifeless. Kaik slid the dagger out from the man and stood to the side as he fell to the ground. Kaik it was not his fault for the black ink that was inscribed into his skin, but rationality gave way to anger as Kaik drove a dagger through the back of the man’s neck.

Now all that remained was the man with a shield. Melissa was on the ground in front of the man with a shield, she had large cuts across her arms and chest. Despite the major injuries she still rose to her feet.

“S-stop stop STOP!” The man yelled as he landed the finishing blow to the top of her head. Melissa fell to the ground and did not get back up.
The man was crying now as he said, “Melissa? H-hey...get up...get up! N-n-no I-I didn’t….no no no no...oh god, please no…” he turned to face Kaik, complete fury filling his face, “you! Your’re the one! You were the one who did this! I will kill you!” he rushed toward Kaik with his shield.

Kaik is sent flying to the left side of the room as the shield made contact with him. “Aaargh...Oliver! Attack his back!” Kaik yelled as he tried to recover.
The man had already made his way to Kaik and swung his axe down on Kaik. He rolled over in the direction of the stair door. Oliver had made his way to the man and had made a deep cut across his back. The man swings around with his axe and chopped of Oliver’s right arm.
“OLIVER!” Kaik yelled as he pushed forward with a stab to the back of the man’s knee. As the man fall to his knees Kaik quickly kicked him right down the stairs to the cells. Kaik hurried to Oliver’s side and was glad to see he was still alive.
“Are you okay Oliver!? Does it hurt?” Kaik said concerned.
Of course with any memories of what pain was Oliver could not feel it, but to Kaik worry had overwritten his logic.
“Ol-liver do-es not under-stand pain Fa-ther,” Oliver said platonically.
“Good good...yeah you’re okay...we’re okay...yes...we’re okay.”
“H-a h-a ha yo-u argh…. thin-k... you’ve won?” he began to whistle loudly.

What is he doing? What else could….petch! I forgot about the d-

A large, brown dog bursts through the front door. It begins barking and takes aim at the most familiar target, Kiak. The dog jumped right at him aiming for the neck, instead its ripping into Kaik’s left forearm as he instictively brings his arm up to defend. Through the neverending pain Kaik brought down his free hand dagger into the dog. The dog let go of its grip as it met the ground.

“Follow...me Oliver...we need to...get your stuff,” Kaik said in quiet voice.

Down the stairs the two went while the stranger continued to spew words of hate and curses.

“Ma-y...you b-e cursed for...you’re entire...l-ife...I- h-h-ate you….die die di-”
“Shut up,” Kaik thrust a dagger through his neck, “I- am...already cu-rsed.”

Moments later Oliver is equipped with his old stuff and they make their way back up the stairs. Kaik searched the room for water and luckily found a barrel of it in a corner of the room. A feeling of familiarity emerged in Kaik as he washed himself, Oliver, and the daggers in water. Kaik cut a piece of cloth from the tatooist’s shirt to wrap it around the bite marks. This is what the hero does in the stories, right?...I’m no hero though...time to get out of here...but first. Inside another barrel Kaik found alcohol, he had planned to burn the house down. Alcohol burns well I believe, at least I think that’s what Dad said. Using an empty mug Kaik poured the alcohol around the house until he figured just kicking the barrel over would work just as well.

“Out- of the....house….Oliver, I’ll b-e there….soon,” Kaik said. Oliver leaves while Kaik breaks one of the legs of a wooden chair. He lights tip of the stick and quickly runs out the door, as he exits the entrance he drop the stick. The house is soon set ablaze while Kaik and Oliver take their distance away from the house. “I-I-I…I am a killer,” he glanced at his right arm and then his ring, “cons-tant re-minders of...wha-t I am...is this all di-vine punish-ment?” Without Kaik noticing it had been snowing since the moment he left the house.

The trip back to his home was hazy for Kaik as the day’s events swirled in his head. When Kaik returned home he changed into some simple clothing before once again leaving for The Catholicon, this time he left all of his dolls home. The crowds began to became a blur to him as he absentmindedly made his way to the hospital, more than likely bumping into a few people and objects not even realizing he had done so. Soon he had arrived at a counter without even realizing it and spoke to the nurse there.

“Co-uld you give me a...uh..th-” Right there and then Kaik fell over.
“Sir? Sir!? Hey! I need some help over here!” said the nurse.

“If you had one wish, what would it be?”
“I would wish to be a god.”
“A god?”
“I want to change this world, I want to bring life into it, I don’t want people to suffer anymore in a cruel and unjust world like this.”
“Is that not what the gods are trying to do?”
“No, it is not. They toy with our lives. They care not for what may happen as long as it does not affect them.”
“Aren’t the people of the world just the same?”
“Indeed...and that is why I wish to change it all.”
“Is that not the same as playing with toys?”
“I’m no different...I am selfish....but….the world we live in right now...surely it could be better...but a wish is just a wish...the only thing I can do is keep moving and perhaps meet a favorable end...I don’t know what awaits me in the end but...I do hope it’s with one I care about….just another wish.”

  • Delusions of Ellen
  • Animating a corpse: the creation of a zombie
  • Ruthlessly killing the whole gang

Notes:
So, you have gained: Lots and lots of injuries! Bite marks that will take a good 3 weeks to heal. Broken ribs, broken thigh (right) -8 weeks. Broken nose -6 weeks. Cuts from whip – 3weeks. Eh, lets see, what else was there... Oh yeah, a tattoo! And Oliver lost an arm.

I suggest you don't do such crazy shyke anymore for the rest of the season Kaik. Stay away from psychotic and sadistic women, please. (I guess it's a good thing because now you can't go after Bran and kill him in his sleep. ;) ) Also, this grade may or may not be a way for me to say "sorry I'm beating up your pc"

As for comments. Hm, well, I'm not too sure what to actually think of this one. It's different from your other solo's, that's for sure. You certainly are good with sadistic and twisted dialogue... Melissa was an enjoyable character, though maybe you should have fleshed out your tactic of taking her down a bit more, because it wasn't really that clear to me why it worked.

As someone who let's NPCs beat up his PC from time to time I tip my hat to you; you're on a whole different level. I admire your guts :)

Please remove or edit your post in the request thread.
