Mousey brown hair, brown eyes, olive complexion. Never wears anything too impressive and has a tendency not to be noticed. Character Concept "The mouse in the city knows where to hide when the dogs are barking." Gath is a quite woman, seldom letting the world know that she is there, but behind the sensible smiles and polite, shy appearance, Gath has a cunning and savage mind. Character History The daughter of a book seller, or at least that is what his official job was. Who he worked for stills remains a mystery for Gath. Her mother died early in Gaths' life, so Gath grew up in her fathers book shop. Gath found herself overhearing much when some of the people were in, as if they didn't even see her there. When Gath asked her father about some of the things that she had overheard, her father told her to remember it, "For knowledge has a value." Birthday

If Gath is twenty-two this year, she could have been born any date of any season in the year 492 AV. If she is turning twenty-two in spring of the coming season, she would have been born any day in spring in the year 493 AV. Your Character Sheet is an Out of Character reference, so there is information that the character may or may not know, but information you as the writer should.

 

History

While Alvadas does indeed have a library, books are very rare and even more expensive. There is no bookshop in the city, though if you're lucky, you may be able to find a stray journal or tome in the Bizarre Bazaar. However, even in this case, there would not be a stall exclusively selling reading material. If you would like to work with books, you could apply for a job at the Sunken Conundrum, Alvadas's quixotic collection of books kept safely under water.

 

Language

Could you please elucidate on how or from whom Garth learned Vani? The Vantha are relatively secluded, so an explanation of this language would be good to have.

 

Lores

Your "lore of unspoken languages" is far too broad, as well as not really a lore. There are two languages that are a type of sign language, Pavi Grassland Sing and Ekeldi, but both of those should be added as a language, not a lore. Perhaps you might take something like "Vani: Basic Syntax" or "Fratava: Swears" if you're looking for a language based lore.
