1. Name - or what you'd like to be called!
Shaun will do the job just fine.

2. What sort of RP experience do you have if any?
Limited, couple of odd spontaneous RPs within MMOs and I did try a chat room based RP but it was just too quick and inconsistent. I mean, someone would leave then really the whole RP is called off and you don't know when everyone would be back online again, too much of a headache.

3. How did you find us?
Googled top ten RP sites and Mizahar was second on the list!

4. What sort of RP style is your favorite?
Well given lack of experience I don't think I have one and truthfully I don't quite understand the question.

5. What do you like to write about - not write about?
Oh violence hands down. Might just be a sort of young adult male kind of thing but I love violent, girtty RPs with lots of characters that really just hate each other. This might explain why I've already pick Sunberth out

I suppose on the other hand then romance and friendly social RPs just are a bit dull and I find it hard to write.

6. Whats your favorite thing about Mizahar so far?
There is tons of lore, I mean I could not believe it. First time on it and I totally started like one of those Wikipedia chains where you just opening new tabs and getting completely lost.

7. What, if anything, has frustrated you about Mizahar so far?
Magic. Don't get me wrong, I tip my bloody hat to the genius that thought it up (Possibly the most original and ingenious thing about this site) but my god it was confusing to me.

8. What would you like out of the Mizahar experience?
Fun and no stress over writing, that's all.

9. Is there anything you'd like to see expanded?
Nothing yet, wouldn't really be right for a new player to be throwing around his opinion as if meant anything on a site that's been going for several years.

10. Anything else you want to talk about?

Welcome to Miz, Shaun The lore can be a bit intimidating, but it's pretty fun getting lost in it. I took around two weeks of reading just to feel confident enough to create a character. It can be quite intimidating to switch from a chat RP to a forum RP. On Mizahar, posts that are under 300 words are considered short, and a solo thread should be in the range of 1500 words or more. It is essential to study showing vs. telling to succeed on this site. Looking at what you have written so far, I think you should be able to achieve this quite easily.

This guide should help to ease you into it. Also, review the experience grading guide to see how experience is calculated from your posts.

If you have any questions about magic, feel free to shoot me a PM. If you are going to start with some, it's best to focus on one at a time. You can juggle two, but it can be difficult to grasp both concepts at once while posting fluidly. They are all quite powerful and unique in their own way. Alea can also help with some of that, I bet.

Also, don't let anyone try to push you away from what you want to accomplish. Anything is possible in Mizahar, so long as it fits the setting. Some things will take lots of work though. If you want to be an Assassin by occupation, figure out how they work on Mizahar and work up the required skills needed to play one as a Thief or a Mercenary.

If you want a Gnosis as part of your starter package, you can be born with Avalis''s with HD approval, and Isurians (the race of metal arm smith people) are born with Izurdin's. It's more difficult to get marks from other gods because you have to write a ~3000+ word Gnosis story that may or may not be approved. It's also more difficult to get a mark outside of your starter package due to the scarcity of mods willing to run Gnosis threads.

Kaveh - I know exactly what you mean, I love having half a dozen tabs open on Chrome and branching off to read one thing and then closing a tab and start reading something completely different.

Alea - I'd love to plot for your arrival in Summer, maybe wait see how well I write before you declare me perfect but I'd love to plot together and give Alea a Sunberther welcome (Whatever that entails)
