The Ristage Caverns were where the original denizens of Alvadas hid from the djed storms of the Valterrian. It is a haven of lost memories and a fitting tribute to the past. The upper levels of the caverns have raised walkways stretching from one cavern wall to another. Huge natural archways, in which the former denizens carved dedications to Ionu. It is a wondrous place where countless years were spent in toil and turmoil to create such a forlorn beauty, a forgotten remnant of Alvadas' history. Only those who travel paths unseen, those chosen by the city itself, can find this place. It resonates with memories of the past, a subterranean brain of water and stone, still dreaming of the world as it was, lost to what is has become. It is here that the Unspoken train, their lives wholly dedicated to the city that embraces them within its gentle hold. The rocky caverns give way to a single, central chamber which serves as both a bedroom and kitchen for Alvadas' unsung protectors. Sparse, but not without its comforts, the Caverns provide a place between the light and shadows of the duplicitous city the Unspoken serve, a world within a world, very much like those who fill the Unpoken's ranks. While many of the caverns are used for various forms of training, be it physical, mental, or spiritual, much of the subterranean landscape lies unexplored. The Unspoken have no need for anything more than what they are given, and their time is mostly spend conditioning themselves or carrying out the Marks delivered by the Speakers.
