Her fingers parted the coarse hair that fell across Wildfire's forehead. The white and cream mane was in constant need of attention, and Naiya was more than willing to put in the effort. The grooming tools sat at her feet, awaiting her attention while she greeted her strider. Banti was near, never truely content to sit at her feet, instead striking outwards, circling, or lounging just out from under foot.
Naiya didn't mind the feline's distance, it allowed her space and gave the cat the freedom she desired. Their bond was a partnership, and the feline made that very clear. Wildfire butted her chest, she had stilled in her attentions to him.
"Easy now, there is no hurry." She chided him gently, a tap on the nose her correction of his behavior. He snorted but resumed his wait, allowing her to pull the last few blades of grass from his forelock. She scratched him behind the ear before circling around him, eyeing his legs and hooves for signs of injury. She did notice that his hooves seemed odd, perhaps long. She didn't know how to file or trim them, she would have to seek someone else's help with that.
There was a scratch too, a few lower on his legs. They didn't look bad, not red or swollen, but perhaps worth a trip to the riverflower to get a balm to help the healing. Amunet might even be there to lend a hand.
She poked at one scratch that looked worse than the others and Wildfire pulled away, not a kick, but perhaps a warning that he was not above stomping on her toes.
"We'll get you something for that soon, boy, I'm sorry I didn't notice sooner." Comfort, apology her hands danced the signs towards him before she bent to lift the curry comb.
Before she could fully rise, Mantali came rushing through the grass. She was startled by something, and behind her the two snowy white younglings were close behind, startled by either the same thing that had sent Mantali off, or perhaps just by the other Zibri's quick movement.
The trio stopped just beyond Naiya, safe with the Drykas woman who was now seeking the source of their upset. Wandering through the grass was Lale, the newest member of their growing pavilion. A slave, of a sort. Shahar had brought her home, no longer a surprise when a new person or animal appeared. Although, Naiya herself was not much better on that count, the number of animals she brought home fast growing, and would only continue if she had her way.
Greetings, "Hello," She formed the pavi sign even as she spoke the equivalent word in common. Look confused, need help? "Is everything alright?" Her skill with common had grown, practice with Seirei allowing her to speak with what was almost confidence.
