Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

DAY-SEASON-YEAR

The Myrian had a like for horses. Which was alright with the boy. He didn't mind the horses. Though, he knew that they'll get etchy around him since he's part lion. He didn't know how to react when he encountered a horse. Though, he'd try it in a calm and fashionable demenur. "Yeah, horses are alright. I guess. I don't think they like me much though." Said the boy as he rubbed his shoulders.

The Sanctuary was many miles away from outside of Riverfall, bit it's big enough to not be missed. Adyel hadn't ridden wagons or horses much throughout his time that he'd been alive. He didn't want to take the chances of making enemies with the creatures so he steered clear from them. Well, for the time being.

Kaie said something about the Sanctuary. It was massive in size. So many compartments within the building itself made it just as unique as Riverfall. It was definitely a place to travel and even do business with as well. The Sanctuary. Yeah. You'd be surprised when you first see it. Oh definitely. " Said the boy exuberantly as he shuffled around on his rear trying to gain some sort of comfortability on the wooden bench. His legs swung back and forth steadily as he waited to arrive to his newly founded home.

After awhile of traveling. Kaie asked of his newly founded mother. Kavala. He picked his words carefully and said them slowly as he spoke. " I was alone... The Warrens. That's where she found me. Awhile back actually. My erh, ah mother before Kavala, my real mom she the gods of the heavens took her. She said she'll be safe there. My real mother. And she promised she'd look after me as best as she can."

After a half Bell passed. The two made it to the Gates of the Sanctuary. Large as Adyel described and metallic to. Stone casings supported the metal and bounded the inside of the Sanctuary with a large perimeter of a stone wall. A guard stood before Adyel and Kaie. He knew Adyel for sure. "Who'd be this?" Asked the man with a smile. "She's Kaie a friend." Said the Kelvic while he held the paint in his hands with a little bit of a struggle. The guard nodded. And waved his hands to open the gate.

Soon, the two stepped inside and the Gates left opened. Adyel lead Kaie to the main door of the inside of the Sanctuary. "Here we are."Said the boy as he put one of the paints down carefully and opened the door. It creaked in response. But opened as it should. Adyel picked up the paint and lead the Myrian inside. "We can drop these down at the library. It's always quiet there."

[Zongjie Warrens]An Accidental Encounter(Kaie)

The wagon rocked and swayed to-and-fro with each powerful step on behalf of the horses that drew them forward. The Myrian did her best to remain firmly seated on the bench beside the boy, battling in the vain the jerk of her body each time the shook in their travel. The raspy-voiced driver slouched forth in his seat with the reins clutched tightly in his fists. His straight-ahead glare was so focused she found herself growing uneasy. Rather than allow unfounded paranoia to sink in, Kaie did her best to throw herself wholly into her conversation with Adyel.

"Sorry about your mother," she offered with utmost sincerity to the orphan boy. She stole a glance at him, watching the way he swung his legs without a care in the world. How long ago did his mother pass, I wonder? she asked herself. The Myrian turned her head to peer out at the world beyond the snuffing of horses and the hacking of a strange driver. When she'd lost her father in the great Sea of Grass, she'd poisoned her body with alcohol in the years that followed once she had reached Syliras. It would be a lie if she did not consider she slightly envied Adyel's composure and resilience. Did her period of downward spiral signify her obvious weakness? The Myrian grit her teeth, for of course it did exactly that.

"I suppose it was a good day to be in the Warrens then," was the last bit she offered before she let silence persist between them for the better part of the ride. Eventually they did arrive at their destination. The driver brought the horses to a firm half before the gates to unload the grateful pair of passengers. The two went about gathering the art supplies before making their approach toward the gates. The Myrian stood uneasily beside the boy before the Sanctuary's gate guard. Her feet shifted uncomfortably beneath her and her sword felt as though it weighed heavier on her body below full hands. Yet the episode broke as soon as the man admitted them with a welcoming grin. The gates parted before them and Kaie wasted no time following the boy inside. Without a moment to spare, Adyel wasted no time ushering the Myrian into an unlocked door.

"A library?" Her brow raised at the idea. She hadn't been to a library since she ventured into the one in Zeltiva seasons ago. Something told her she could bank on the thought no mischievous spirits would be present in the Sanctuary's version to torment them. "Do you read, Adyel?" Kaie finally asked as they made it into the library to find themselves surrounded by books. Her amber eyes glanced about the modest room, though the awe was lost on a mind that had never learned to decipher the letters on pages. She placed the materials she held on one of the nearby surfaces as she continued to admire the room, searching the rare location from where she stood near the boy. "I imagine your new mother must teach you to read the words in these books, yes?"
