Ser Xervos nstantly introduced the metal armor to him just as the two met the very same day. And we're merely training for bells as the ticks passed on by. Ferrin stood aloft as if he were a log with a stone within the rivers current. He was the log trying to keep balance from falling under. And the Stone was the armor. The current was the battle itself. And Ferrin knew he would forefit soon.

But, it wouldn't be the option. He needed to prove to his uncle that he can do better than his father could ever do. If his father had given up as quickly as Ferrin would, then it would be a shame to do the same action. How long did his father had even last whilist being within one of the Squires. Who willingly served to protect the good and most if not all of Mizahar.

Ser Xervos still spectated. And smirked whenever Alex had swung his blade towards Ferrin. But, Ferrin attempted his best to block. The man spun, and thrusts his blade towards Ferrins neck and he swiftly ducked just in the nick of time. He gasped for breaths as he heard his commanding knigt speak-"That's enough now. Thank you, Squire Sieg. You can go back to your training. Ser Xervos expressed soothingly, but orderly.

The Knight walked towards his Squire and examined him a few feet away. He made a few ticking sounds with his tounge and mouth as if he were unimpressed by the work of Ferrin."I can still see room for improvement. We need to have you grow adapt to the metal armour. Best for protection when in battle. By now, if your father had had attempted to train you I assumed that you would have arrived with the proper aspects of a Squire. But, from what I can see is stubborness. And that is no good for a squire."

Ferrins head spun with so many thoughts he felt as if he couldn't keep it in tact. "I'll work to improve. I'm sure of it."Ferrin replied with rasped breaths. The armour now weighed on him like a heavy brick. Filled with tons of cement. "I'd say we can call this a day now. Relinquish your armour and wash up. I'd best see you in a few days. Within that time you should at least be able to grow those muscles to adapt to the havyness of the armor. Don't worry you can get used to it. Always."Ser Xervos announced with a flick of his head. His curly black hair swiveled and appeared less greasy as Ferrins very own.

With a simple nod. Ferrin turned and noticed Sieg. He gave him a nod and a weary smile. The Squire took his steps towards the armour racks and sniffed in the aroma of sweat. Ready to be washed up. Maybe a visit to the Soothing waters wouldn't be all that bad?

OOCSorry about the Knight and it's name being mixed up. Totally forgot what it was... Would you also want to end the thread here or would Alex like to go to the Rearing Stallion to have a few drinks or two? Maybe Alex could reveal his true identity unless you want to keep it secret from Ferrins Ferrin? Actually, I think it's best to have Ferrin wash up and all. XD

Description "Alex Common" Alex thoughts "Myrian" "Fratava" "Others"

The waning of Ferrin’s stamina was evident, Alex could see it and could feel his beginning to falter. Even though he had been training in the armour for much longer it still felt cumbersome and heavy however the time difference of adjustment was the clear thing that made the victor here. Ale’s final blow was about to come to fruition as the blade sailed over Ferrins head and the lower blade was about to connect victory was about to be his and then.

The command to stop. Alex felt robbed. Cheated of victory in the situation. A common habit of the knights. When they felt their squire was under threat of being beaten the called for a halt. A stall in the battle. Alex gripped his blade tighter in his hand, and put on a smile false and transparent however beneath his helmet it would help lend his words the twinge of understanding they needed. “Very well Ser Xervos.” Alex wrung his fingers against the blade leering over at the training dummy instead of going back to his training though he sheathed the dual blade. Hanging the length of steel from the weapon harness over him. He grunted loudly out of earshot of the other two. A look of harshness to him beneath the helm.

Perhaps this was for the best, at the rate Ferrin’s stamina had been failing him Alex could have caused some serious and possibly irreparable harm. Alex stretched his arms and picked a point on the ground to focus on briefly attempting to stop the spinning of his head. As Alex’s eyes rose from the ground he caught a small smirk of knowing. Knowing. Alex waved it off. Passing a moment of time he made sure that Ferrin was well out of sight before removing his helmet a deep drink of unrestricted air filled his lungs as he did so. His dirty blonde and shaggy mop of hair picked up by a small breeze and just out of his eyes.

He exhaled before stepping back over to Ser Xervos. “Ser, if I may be permitted to ask. Why did you stop me? I thought you wanted him to improve? He can’t if he’s stopped from learning when he’s made a mistake.” A Question that held no malice for being robbed of victory only concern for Ser Xervos’ methods. His own patrons teaching technique was one that caused him a great deal of pain every single time but Alex was a better and stronger, fighter and tactician for it.

OOCOne more post form you and then we can potentially shift to anotehr thread if you're up for it.

Ferrin was ready to call it a day. Though, he was definitely glad that Ser Xervos had considered the day of its end. Ferrins first day and it merely practically killed him. The methods of Ser Xervos was definitely in question by the Kenashian. Though, if he had ever asked it would have possibly ended with an answer of running laps. Or at least more bells of training.

Sweat poured thickly upon his neck and shoulders where he hadn't bored and armour. He should've worn a helmet to avoid any open valid strikes toward the throat region. That would have had permitted any form of death with a simple swipe towards the head.

Ferrins rasping breaths slowed to a steady pace. He was merely exhausted. Sores crept up over his shoulder and his hand slightly grew small blisters, but that only meant he was starting to grow a harder shell on the outside. What he needs to focus on was the shell on the inside. Or most formally, the stuffing within the outer of the shell. That's the main focal point.

Ser Xervos

With Ferrin still back and getting ready the squire that the Knight had settled upon of dueling his very own. Came back with his immenseable inquiry. Was he testing the Knights limits? Busting his chains? "It's best to learn quick than slow as a slug. And I was merely testing the two of you. And from what I had seen, he wasn't making to many mistakes from what I can see. But I say, Sieg, that you should cut loose those spins, pretending to be a performer won't do good in battle when your actually facing a truly challenging opponent. It's my thought and take it how you please, but be aware for the next time you spin. Not every move counts with a flourish here and there you can get lucky. And next time you ask of my teachings, be careful of how you ask them. Some Knights might not be as pleasing when they respond to such questions. I know your wasn't intentional to discourage me in any sort, but it's not entirely proper. But, this was only a test for Ferrin. See if he can do better than his father." The Knight replied with a smirk. Xervos waved him off with a sigh and watched
