Ser Xervos nstantly introduced the metal armor to him just as the two met the very same day. And we're merely training for bells as the ticks passed on by. Ferrin stood aloft as if he were a log with a stone within the rivers current. He was the log trying to keep balance from falling under. And the Stone was the armor. The current was the battle itself. And Ferrin knew he would forefit soon.
But, it wouldn't be the option. He needed to prove to his uncle that he can do better than his father could ever do. If his father had given up as quickly as Ferrin would, then it would be a shame to do the same action. How long did his father had even last whilist being within one of the Squires. Who willingly served to protect the good and most if not all of Mizahar.
Ser Xervos still spectated. And smirked whenever Alex had swung his blade towards Ferrin. But, Ferrin attempted his best to block. The man spun, and thrusts his blade towards Ferrins neck and he swiftly ducked just in the nick of time. He gasped for breaths as he heard his commanding knigt speak-"That's enough now. Thank you, Squire Sieg. You can go back to your training. Ser Xervos expressed soothingly, but orderly.
The Knight walked towards his Squire and examined him a few feet away. He made a few ticking sounds with his tounge and mouth as if he were unimpressed by the work of Ferrin."I can still see room for improvement. We need to have you grow adapt to the metal armour. Best for protection when in battle. By now, if your father had had attempted to train you I assumed that you would have arrived with the proper aspects of a Squire. But, from what I can see is stubborness. And that is no good for a squire."
Ferrins head spun with so many thoughts he felt as if he couldn't keep it in tact. "I'll work to improve. I'm sure of it."Ferrin replied with rasped breaths. The armour now weighed on him like a heavy brick. Filled with tons of cement. "I'd say we can call this a day now. Relinquish your armour and wash up. I'd best see you in a few days. Within that time you should at least be able to grow those muscles to adapt to the havyness of the armor. Don't worry you can get used to it. Always."Ser Xervos announced with a flick of his head. His curly black hair swiveled and appeared less greasy as Ferrins very own.
With a simple nod. Ferrin turned and noticed Sieg. He gave him a nod and a weary smile. The Squire took his steps towards the armour racks and sniffed in the aroma of sweat. Ready to be washed up. Maybe a visit to the Soothing waters wouldn't be all that bad?
OOCSorry about the Knight and it's name being mixed up. Totally forgot what it was... Would you also want to end the thread here or would Alex like to go to the Rearing Stallion to have a few drinks or two? Maybe Alex could reveal his true identity unless you want to keep it secret from Ferrins Ferrin? Actually, I think it's best to have Ferrin wash up and all. XD
