Imass seemed to sport most of the advantages he was stronger, could wield his bastard sword more efficiently, and was accustomed to his heavy armor and helm. Truthfully Avrial felt woefully inadequate compared to the veteran Akalak but she still retained her integrity by trying to stop him and that was something she held dear beyond measure, and if she messed up well she could die but petch it she'd die with style.
When Imass rushed in he came at her like a typhoon, his shuffle caught Avrial by suprise and if he had retained his current course with that level of suppression and used his shield to smash through her Imass would have ended the fight on the spot.
But to the swordsmans relief, Imass's sword cranked up and when it did there was no doubt in her mind he'd have the torque with his weapon of choice to single handedly break bones beneath plate as whatever he threw was graced with naturally gifted strength. It would be devastating if it landed but those sorts of blades had big wind ups.
Avrial would keep it simple, she'd take her right back foot and step off to the side and her body would follow suit and pivot veering her out of harms way as the Akalaks steel whirred past her face while her lead left foot coiled up as it remained grounded. Her whole body was moving fluidly that subtle step pulled her out of the pocket and was now on the outside of his sword arm.
From the limited view of his visor, there was a very real possibility he could lose track of her.
With the same technique she performed on Garland, Avrials defensive maneuver took an offensive twist as she continued onward pivoting on her coiled lead foot maximizing the rotation of her legs and hips as she released the tension in her calf and generating her own turbulent momentum brought on with her whole body behind it as she followed what was set in motion with her left kilijs weighted tip which added percussion to her slice. The target was the Akalaks sword hand as he began pivoting to put his shield into position.
Her left sword had bad intentions, she was attempting to meet his motion with her own to amplify the power of her attack in a genuine counter strike. The target was his thumb, wrist or fingers the idea was to hit him so hard to crush bruise or break and make wielding his weapon difficult and inefficient if not out right disarming him.
Avrials right sword was on the defense as anything could happen, the Akalak had already managed to suprise her with his leading shuffle but right now he'd have to contend with the stalinsa brat on the outside. Garland had dropped his sword to free his shield arm to smash her, and Imass was in a similiar predicament as his sword would be in the way of his shield. The only difference was Avrial would be prepared for that.
