Emilie couldn't place her finger on it, but the Akalak seemed to change. She figured it was nothing and answered his question respectfully, "My name is Emilie Jongblood." her voice went back into its normal melodic, soothing sound. "And to tell you I'm scared of no man. I've been tainted by them and have nothing left to live for. So let them take my life, but I at least won't go down without then goin with me. So I will stay." she finished and began took around again.

"Ahajii.." emilie paused before continuing, "what are the blood pits exactly?" Emilie inquired. She turned her attention back to him. Her blue eyes seemed interested. She figured this place had to do with some form of fighting. Maybe some fighting could do Emilie some good to get her mind away from her dark thoughts. If only she really could escape her dark thoughts...

Emilie blinked to clear her mind again and refocus on Ahajii. Something about him kept grabbing her attention. Was it the fact he was a tall blue creature? No... There was something more. Something deeper then that. Emilie still couldn't put a finger on it, So she pushed the feeling from her mind. She waited quietly for his response.

Shakaar "If I may speak frankly that doesn't surprise me in the slightest. This city is not a place for a decent woman. And that's coming from an Akalak." He watched her ponder over his name for a second or two. And then ask him for the details of the pit. "My dear the Blood-Pits is an establishment that pits an unfortunate upon other unfortunates, and have them rip each other to shreds in the name of sport. The Pits are a temple to death. And I am a slave to the man who runs it all" This girl was peaking the interest of Ahajii more and more. She seemed to go through a mental shift every few seconds. Like she had little grasp upon her sanity. OOCO.k so if you ask me about fighting in the pit I can start to show you and then I can teach you a little. The word slave made Emilie cringe. The last thing Emilie wanted, and would ever want is to be a slave again. The dark images of her past were beginning to flash through her head, and her body began to twitch. Turning away, she took a deep breath, pushing the images from her mind. When Emilie had relaxed, she refocused her attention on Ahajii.

"Then may I ask you a question?" Emilie went on before he had a chance to reply. "If i wanted to fight, could I?" The look in her eye wa salmost a pleading look. As if getting this was the one thing she longed for. Emilie needed the satisfaction of killing. To hear teh blood curtling screeches of poor unfortunate souls who lose their life under Emilie's wrath.

Goosebumps began to form a long Emilie's goshtly white skin. Her body was shivering with delight and her mood changed to excitement. She was tugging on the sleeves of her shirt, like a little girl.

Shakaar "Sure you could fight, I could teach you a little right now if you wanted me to? But why would someone like you want to get mixed up in a mess like this?" Ahajii leaned forward expectantly waiting for an answer...

Emili etook this as her only oportunity. "I wasnt to learn to fight. A woman needs good self defense to protect herself." Which Emilie's statement was true, but she already knew a few things about fighting. Theough, she figured this Akalak could teach her a new trick. Maybe some of this fighting would keep her blood lusting lower as well. Emilie wanted this.

She gopt down on her knees and bowed her head. She was being submissive like a wolf would do with it's pack leader. "Ahaji, I wish you to teach me your ways of comabt."

Shakaar Ahajii was surprised when the woman bent down in front of him. But he took it in his stride. She obviously took this formally, so he would oblige her. He bent down and lifted her face to his, stating as he did so "Emilie, I accept you as my student. Stand and prepare yourself." As he said this he stood, and thought about just how he would teach the woman. He had never taught anyone before, unless you counted the lesson of what death feels like. So this was a new experience for him. He figured that teaching couldn't be that hard if this lady had any coordination at all. So he took off his shirt like he did before any fight, and he called the woman to him. "If you have anything besides that shirt I suggest you use it. That is very loose and could hinder your movements. But if you have nothing else that will work it can be kept" Now let us begin. I will start with form.

Emilie looked at him gratefully as he accepted her request. She gracefully hoisted herself to her feet and stood with pride. She was honored for Ahajii to take her as an apprentice so to speak. She felt her dark and evil mind expell from her for the time being. She wished it could stay that way forever.

When he spoke of her shirt possibly hindering her movements, Emilie pondered if she should just tear it off. Then she got a better idea. Emilie gripped one of her sleeves tightly, and with a giant yank, her sleeve tore right off. She repeated this on her other sleeve and dropped them on the floor. Looking back at Ahajii she asked, "Is this better?" She figured it would be better then fighting nude. Being nude would probably be distracting.

She nodded her head ready to begin learning. Emilie was very eager to get stared.

Shakaar Ahajii blinked in surprise as Emilie tore off her sleeves, but he nodded his head in approval. Then walking towards her he moved her arms up. "When your arms fall down you get hit in the face. Don't let them fall." Next he walked behind her, and touched her stomach and her lower back. He brought them to a position of absolute straightness. "Posture gives balance, and balance can be the key to victory." "Remember the coolness of mind can be the difference between the victorious and the defeated. And in my line of work defeated means dead." With this he walked two paces in front of her and barked out a single command "Attack me now." He stood awaiting Emilie's attack. OOCRemember that you have no skill points in unarmed combat. Play to your level. =)

Emilie did as Ahajii said and kept her arms up to protect her face, but when Ahajii placed his hands on her back, she flinched. She wasn't used to people touching her unless for horrific reasons. She took a deep breath and relaxed when he strightened her into a strong stance for balance. He's only teaching you. She thought.

Emilie watched him take two paces infront of her catiously. She didn't know what he would do next, but when he commanded her to attack him, she was shocked. Thinking quietly to herself, she let what he said register.

This would end horribly and Emilie knew it, but Ahajii was her teacher and she would do as he said. Emilie made a quick jab tword his abdomen, and she didn't hold back. She put all her power into that punch, but she had a feeling it wouldn't do a thing...

Shakaar When Ahajii moved his hand to Emilie's back he felt her stiffen, her breath started to come faster. She was quite uncomfortable in this position so he moved on quickly after adjusting her posture. When he told her to attack him, Ahajii saw a look of fear cross her eyes. He saw her shoulder move followed by her elbow and then her hand. She hadn't even stepped forward! Ahajii merely reached out and caught her hand. He felt the pressure of the strike but she wasn't able to punch her full weight. A beginning puncher needs to first learn how to use their weight before they can punch their potential. "I haves several comments..." mentioned Ahajii to Emilie, and he mentioned for her to sit down. "When you punch you want to turn the same side hip as the hand you punch with. What this does is it adds a portion of power into your blow. I want you to try this for now and then I will give you another thing to try."
