No Man's Land Tavern
"Did she show up yet Carston?" One of the two women entering the No Man's Land tavern asked wiping down the stool with a cloth before sitting. "Nope, not yet. She still has time, I'm pretty sure she will show. She seemed pretty serious about joining your cause."
"Yes true, but saying you want to help and actually helping are two different things, and haven't you ever heard of the term if you're on time then you're still late?" The woman spoke adjusting her glasses as her companion proceeded to order a pint of ale. You shouldn't drink on the job" she spoke as the other woman paid her comment no attention then proceeded to sip away.
Remmy pursed her lips together at Lotharia. She'd been in a sour mood since they'd left the library. She hated being away from her books. She would have rather sent Lotharia out to this place to do this test, but the woman whome she'd grown to call friend had practiced tactics that she herself weren't fond of and vice versa, so to ensure that whom ever this girl, Aladari, was actually checked out to be vigilante gang material, they both decided to meet the woman.
Vigilante gang, the name still sounded foreign to her ears. It sounded more of an insult that a compliment. It kind of created itself though. She would have preferred something more pleasant that the people would look to as a sign of hope. Then again, the people are the one that branded the name onto their little group.
That was another thing that she'd been worried about, the people that came to join. She could only hope that no one from any other gangs would come looking to infiltrate their group. It was a very bad move to just put themselves out and in the open like they did, but Carston was a honorable and fair man that wouldn't let something happen to them like that, not on purpose at least. Then again, who would want to trick a man of his size and capabilities.
So is she going to show up or what?" Lotharia let out now becoming bored with the waiting game that they played. There were many gang members in this place that she recognized. Many that she wouldn't mind letting her blade pierce their bodies. The only reason she didn't act on it was out of respect for the tavern's "No gang violence rule" also seeing that it would be bad for the gang to cause trouble when so small. Kicking her feet up, she sat and waited for the one known as Aladari to arrive.
