Looking for mage mentor.

Looking for a mage who can help me raise some of my magic skills or introduce my character to new magics. Currently he knows Reimancy (ice),Glyphing, Auristics, and Magecrafting. My character is currently in Syliras. Any help would be appreciated.

i have absolutely none of those skills, but i think you'll be my Best Friend. i eventually want to get a mage crafted hammer.

I have a Mage with competent skill level at Animation. I'm in Sunberth right now. I do need to learn a bit of Earth Reimancy to build my dream animation project, so maybe you can teach me something too? =)

hmmm....I would be glad to magecraft your hammer Ivan...However you may want to wait until I can make stronger items as the max I can craft now is a MC of 2.

And Edward...that seems like a good idea. Should we arrange someplace to meet?
Keep in mind that I am a newbie so teaching someone may not be my strong suit if I (occ) am not sure exactly how the magic works. I would also like to learn metalworking from you if possible.

Sure. My character has a (stationary) house in Sunberth and I don't know why he would visit Syliras. So if you can think of a reason to go to Sunberth that would be good. Otherwise I guess we could be going after some bandits in the woods and run into you or something.

Yo again, here to not mind my own busness. If your looking for a reason to travel out into the woods or something, this IS a post apocolyptic RP. theres no such thing as walmart. maybe the market isn't well stocked since they dont really have effective ways to preserve food, thus hunting? food gets tight in the winter, not a lot comeing into a bazaar.

Or simple wander lust could be the cause. The second one is more common though. Both are less dangerous then fully armed men who would like nothing better then to kill you. much like my mercenaries and hunting animals, i'd assume bandits travel in packs. Just thought i'd try to help!

Wanderlust seems kind of weird for him to have. I guess I could go hunting but how would I get anywhere near Syliras on a hunting trip? I do agree that I would get myself killed hunting bandits but I didn't say I had to find them. I just have to hunt them and as they killed my parents, I would say I have a good reason to go after them.

Hadrian is competent in Auristics and Magecraft, Novice in Glyphing and Reimancy. He should be back in Syliras sometime in Winter, and like we talked about, he might take on an apprentice, but it would be best to see if they get along first, you know?

I'm going to try working for Hadrian first. Although he wasn't the first one to post here he was still first (PMs). I will see if out characters work out and if they don't then I'll try getting to Sunberth somehow.

Now should I just post in the main gates now and make a thread or does the date I make the thread matter?

If you want my advice, have him appear in Alvadas in Winter. Hadrian arrived on the 21st and will be leaving on the 42nd. That way they can meet in the City of Illusions and then he can go to Syliras with Hadrian and Stas (they'll arrive on the 82nd), and we can party in Syliras for a while. Stas might persuade Hadrian to move on to Sunberth after a while anyway in search of money, so Nezuel could accompany them all that way and if he hasn't become an apprentice by then, at least he'll be in Sunberth, which was your secondary plan.

How does that sound?
