Shoes crunching upon the frozen grasslands, Leto made his way through the city of Endrykas. Having lived there for twenty seven years, he was quite familiar with the movement of the clans and city, their migration as well as the webbing that protected the city. He even managed to earn his windmarks in his earlier years, and was getting better at his glyphing skills, and summoning skills, though he hadn't managed to summon anything interesting yet, he had been practicing a bit, and had the basic knowledge of it.

As he walked through the grasslands of Endryakas, he wore his leather vest, leather pants and leather shoes, with a black cloak overtop of his body to help preserve his warmth on that chilled day. He had the hood overtop of his head, and he decided that perhaps it would be a good day to provide for the clans, either through his glyphing experience, or some other way. He was but a simple man, that did not yearn for anything more than living with his people. His family had been killed through a tragic accident when he was younger, though he did have a brother out there somewhere, as they had been separated during a trip into the wilds when his parents were killed.

Looking upwards towards the sky with dark eyes, he slowly said, "Smells like snow..." He could smell the crisp cool air, but had no inkling of whether it was going to snow, merely knew that the coming of frost meant that it could get cold enough to snow, but whether it did or not? That was up to the gods amongst them. He continued to make his way through the city, looking at the various wares amongst the tribes, not knowing quite where his place was at the moment.

One could call him lost, but in the end, he was certainly not that lost, and was quite ready to learn more about himself, and perhaps find his brother that was lost to him so long ago, if indeed he still lived after that venture into the wilds. But for now, he'd continue to wander, awaiting a time when the clans would call upon him, a member of the ruby clan, though having not talents to show for his membership within it.

Even as the cool breeze blew past his head, he didn't let these thoughts bother him. He was well used to not being social, and with that happening, he was well used to just wandering around the city, thinking to himself, waiting for something to happen, someone to see him, and wonder what he was doing, why he was here, and what he could do to help out the clans. Itching his upper left arm, he finally found a stump to take a seat upon, and ponder these many things that had happened within his life.

Whilst thinking about it, he could remember the flashing back of the creatures that killed his parents, but he barely remembered what they looked like, just that they were large, wild, and out of control. He barely managed to get away with his skin intact as the creatures soley focused upon his parents for some reason, he and his brother just began to run, in opposite directions for whatever reason, probably out of fear. He had managed to make it back to Endrykas, where he was sheltered by a friend of the family, and raised into the man he was today, a decent glypher, and a beginner summoner, as well as beginner with webbing. They had taught him the mere basics of it, as well as riding.

As his dark eyes roamed the tents around him, a sigh left his mouth, and he looked down towards the ground. Perhaps someday he'd become more social towards people, instead of being such an introvert after the tradgedy to his family had occurred...
Back again... for a lil longer this time I hope.

Wys was standing on the ground, practicing elemental attraction outside. It felt nice, the chilling air somehow didn't bother him, and neither did the fact that a chilling breeze kept blowing in his direction every time he pumped enough gaseous res to attract wind with. It really was fascinating to him, the substance glowed, and could be manipulated in so many ways. Wystern simply smiled as he made the glowing gas wrap itself around his fingers like a snake and frowned slightly when it would hold the form. He could force the res outside, and when he did a little more than a slight gust, he almost overgave and had to rest for a little bit.

With the voices urging him on, he was near mutation a couple of days ago. Back then, he actually began realizing something was wrong, he was hurt but cast more and more and more, not realizing the limit and passed out from the strain. Twice. The third time he forced himself to stop when a cut was appearing on his chest and he was bleeding out the nose. Possibly, the realization of what he was doing to himself brought him down before it was too late. And even then he barely stopped. He shivered as the wind blew in his own face by an accident, a little embarrassed by the mishap.

He could swear that he was slowly catching frostbite on the cuts, shallow that they may be. The healer thought him an interesting individual, or at least a suspicious one. He kept showing up with strange wounds, not telling how he got them, and always in the shape that it would be unethical to be left untreated. That kept going on for a few days, leaving the girl appalled at the scratches, and the lack of edges present, and how Wys just shrugged off the questions, which didn't earn him any points with the Drykas. The depression was gone. So he started creating more Res and wrapping it around his hand again.

The quest was mostly complete. What kept him here? The lack of a horse. Not impossible to obtain one. Oh, and the fact that he was bandaged up from waist up. Overgiving. Twice. But there was an obvious improvement, something he could actually grasp on, even if it came at a cost. It was kind of like a drug, a little like a child with a new toy, but the pain and strain still get annoying. He already started feeling tired from the minor shape manipulation, he only conjured the element a few times. Maybe in chunky gusts, but it shouldn't have been such a big deal. He eyed the area around the tent he was standing, noticing a man that could have noticed the Res forming. Wys ceased the exercise and pick up the cane again.

Strange, the guy didn't even look surprised. Interesting. Greed is springing into action. Maybe he knows something worth learning? This could turn out just like the damn Pycon. A coward learns nothing. A coward gets nothing. No fear, no doubts, no regrets, time to start weaving. Wys calmly smiled at the sun, looked at the man and spoke, "nice weather we're having here, no?"

There was a specific reason that Leto didn't look surprised in the least. He hadn't noticed the res forming and being controlled by the injured man. He was simply dazing off in his own world upon that stump, and whilst looking around in a daze, thinking to himself about his past, he hadn't noticed what the man was doing. It was almost as if those dark eyes of his could transcend the very air they breathing, and look into the eyes of gods... if Leto trusted any of them that is. After all of his experience as a boy, and growing up under the care of an adoptive set of parents, his faith in the gods had faltered, and he couldn't trust them to do anything right.

Then again it probably wasn't their place to interfere with the wills of mortals, and the actions they themselves create, as well as the reactions they bring upon themselves. Scratching at his left shoulder again as his daze suddenly was abruptly taken away from him, he turned his head towards the man, taking off his hood, revealing not a long haired Drykas as most, but short black hair with blonde highlights within it. A birth defect that he had learned to grow up with, therefore he kept his hair shorter than the usual drykas whom seemed to have long elegant hair. His dark eyes wandered up to see the man that was standing over him, the one whom had poised the question to him about the weather.

Interesting way to start a conversation when you're bandaged from the waist up. Apparently this man had no sense of forboding with whatever he was doing, because it was causing him a bit of pain to do it. As his dark eyes wandered about the man's presense, a warm gas escaped from Leto's lips in the form of a wisp of air that he had just recently breathed in. Slowly standing up, the man of twenty seven years looked towards the other man that had slowly approached him. His eyes continued to wander about the other man, looking for any distinguishing marks, either windmarks, or something that might distinguish the man from the rest of them. Obviously, he didn't see anything noticable, but a windmark could easily be hidden under the bandages, so Leto decided the best thing to do would be to treat him as a different person, not apart of the clan, unless otherwise noted that he did indeed have a windmark.

"Greetings," he said simply, his dark eyes wandering upwards to meet with the man's own eyes. "The weather is decent today, as it is most days within Endrykas... My name is Leto Treebearer," he then continued to speak as he looked towards the man, and was about ready to say something else when he felt a chill down his spine. The wounds this man had sustained, obviously didn't come from anything natural. Then again, Leto was slowly getting accostomed to dealing with the unnatural, what with learning the basics of summoning and glyphing. He was not the teaching type, so if that's what this man was looking for, he would have to pass, but perhaps a friendship could be born from this first meeting, since Leto didn't have very many people he was friends with outside of his own pavilion which was mostly family members, his adoptive family that is.

As he continued to watch the man carefully, he then asked, "What might your name be stranger?" It was common to have names, and if Leto was kind enough to share his, he expected the man before him to be decent enough to reciprocate the courtesy given. If and once the courtesy was given, of something to call the man other than "Stranger", Leto would let a brief smile cross his face, but remain guarded nonetheless. Any question the man might pose to him, he'd answer generously, but not let his generousity get out of control, and would remain vigil that the man could easily turn on him as it was their first meeting. But then again, he had to have faith in his fellow man, especially if this man had a windmark and was apart of the clan, having his own strider as Leto did, his dark eyes falling to view the man's bandages once again before returning up to see his eyes, and what all they could tell.

"Those wounds you've sustained... where are they from if I might ask?" he then asked, as he hadn't seen any type of wound like that since he watched his mother get torn asunder, and even as he looked towards the man with the wounds, he continued to have the flashbacks he had so often of the event that changed his life, perhaps for the better, perhaps for the worst, pending on how people looked at it. Luckily he was taken in by the rest of the Treebearers, his aunt and uncle that is, his new adoptive parents. He was old enough now though to do things on his own, but the images still haunted him to this day, and he could rarely get them out of his head, even when he studied glyphing, summoning, and webbing. Granted he was not ready to teach any of the things he had learned, he was more than capable of trying to use them to see what would happen.

A Simple Man (Open)

Postby Ariel on January 20th, 2011, 5:40 am

Ariel was sitting up straight in Rafael's saddle. She had just named the kitten a few days before, and was still getting used to the sound of its name on her lips, and the feel of a saddle beneath her as opposed to dirt or gravel. Ariel was still unused to the idea of traveling by use of a kitten, having grown accustomed to walking or riding along in one's pocket over the years. But, she tried not to let it get to her, and to enjoy the view from the kitten's back, which in all fairness, wasn't much greater than the view she had while on foot. All she saw was sky above her head, grass all around her, and ground below her.

Ariel sighed heavily as she gave Rafael another little kick. The kitten had started to slow down, and Ariel wouldn't have it. She would have no slackers today! she thought, as the sound of male voices made its way to her tiny clay ears. Ariel could not determine what the two voices were saying, but one of them did sound somewhat... familiar. Thinking nothing of it, Ariel shrugged, and clicked Rafael's reigns, urging him to press onwards.

It was a few moments before Ariel came upon a man sitting on a stump. The man towered over her, like just about every other being in Mizahar, if not every being. The man was rather lean and had short, dark-colored hair, with lighter undertones. Ariel couldn't get a good look at his face, since she was approaching the man from behind, but if she bothered to ride past him and look up, she was certain that she would get one.

Taking a moment to breath in deeply, in through the nose, out through the mouth, Ariel's eyes closed, and her stomach rose and fell softly. She had pulled up on the reigns, and Rafael had come to a halt a few feet away froom where the man was sitting. Ariel opened her eyes again, and peered into the man's aura. A deep red mist swirled around him. Horse's hooves and sparkles also danced around in the mix, verifying Ariel's first impression: the man was a Drykas. Ariel waved the aura away, and it slowly fizzled and disappeared in a puff of deep red smoke. Ariel was instantly hit with an intense feeling of exhaustion, her clay eyes began to feel heavy, and she blinked a few times to try and get it to go away. But her efforts were in vain. She couldn't get the exhausted feeling to leave her.

Ariel clicked the reigns, and gave Rafael a few swift kicks in the side. Auras never lied, this man wasn't someone Ariel felt she needed to fear. The sparkles suggested a magic user, which might mean that Ariel would get to exchange ideas with this man, always something to look forward to. He was indeed a Drykas, and the deep red tones in his aura suggested that he was relatively grounded, and more survival-oriented than anything else. Ariel smiled sheepishly as Rafael crept forward.

Ariel looked up as Rafael continued walking. She called to the mysterious man, "hello!" but her voice seemed weak, even to her, and so very very tired. She then noticed another pair of feet. Of course! She had heard the man speaking to someone, hadn't she, Ariel thought to herself, laughing inwardly as she looked up to see a familiar face. The stupid Sylirian knight who had essentially jumped on her a few days before when she didn't feel like teaching him auristics, Wys. Lovely, Ariel thought as she pulled up on Rafael's reigns and stared frustratingly up at him. "Hello Wys," she muttered, as Rafael came to a stop before the two men's feet.

OOCAnd so enters the "damn pycon," beware Wys, beware, and hello Leto, hope you don't mind my popping in!

Postby Wystern on January 21st, 2011, 12:40 am

Wystern was just about to answer The man when he heard a faint "Hello, Wys," in a very familiar voice. He paused for a second, looking around for that Pycon, a warm smile appeared on his face that would not deceive a person who knew better. Too much grass, enough to hide three inches, not enough to hide a ca with a brawn spot on its back..."Hello, Ariel," he said in a voice that hinted a little frost. Maybe he should just have a kick at it. Wys didn't like animals, dogs, horses, the bigger they were the more annoying it was for him. As a matter of that fact, he didn't seem to like Symenestras or Pycons either. Just one kick to launch, simple, like breaking a toothpick. Simple to explain, he thought it was monster due to his delusions from the pain in a messed up leg, assuming that lie would fly. And sadly he just couldn't follow the impulse.

"Just like my little friend here said, my name is Wystern, but Wys for short. And how I got these little bandages? Training accident," he said with a grin. "Come on Ari, use you little powers and tell me what you see," he thought, "notice no lies, but something different from the aura?" He really was covered in bandages, nothing showing, just a few random places for no reason, and it all was obvious under the cloak and the shirt. He really did lose some weight while in atrophy, it took quite a bit less bandages than Ahna expected. Then he noticed that Ariel was actually riding a kitten. "Is that your new mount?" he asked with a smirk.

OOCSure, not a problem Ariel :)

Leto heard a little peep, or what he thought sounded like a peep, and allowed his dark gaze to fall towards the ground. All in all, the little peep was actually a "Hello" given by a Pycon, whom was riding atop a kitten. Stopping for a second, as the little creature muttered a greeting to the bandaged man, Leto inferred his name to be Wys, and the man confirmed it that his name was Wystern. Sounded like western, but maybe his parents had a sense of humor about them and named him after the direction or area that they lived in Mizahar. Looking from the Pycon up towards Wys, and then back down towards the Pycon once more, Leto brushed his right hand through his hair a bit, and then said, "Interesting..."

It seemed all that he could muster at this time, having originally been dazed in a deep thought process relating to the nightmares he had had when he was a much younger person. The Pycon was riding a kitten, which made him even more intrigued. However she managed to tame a kitten was beyond Leto as he remembered seeing little kittens that were untamable, and entirely fanatical about playing with things that were her... size. Allowing his dark gaze to flow back up towards Wys, he then said, "Perhaps you should be more careful about training... whatever it was you were doing, you might have wanted to take it a bit more slowly."

As he turned his gaze down towards the Pycon then, he said, "Pretty kitten you have there. What is it's name?" As he asked the question, he had another flashback of when he was younger, about six years old, playing with his younger brother whom was only four at the time, and having found a cute kitten that they shared the company of. The cat disappeared about four years later, without a trace, perhaps it had found another home, one much better than the one Endrykas could provide... or it got eaten by one of the many grassland creatures. Eitherway, it was a comfort to know that kittens and cats were still around the grasslands, and Leto was comforted to know that.

Awaiting a response from either of them, Leto smiled, and took a seat back upon the stump, careful to not step upon the little Pycon, whom he thought could be fragile, and didn't wish to cause it any harm, as he was a peaceful man, not wanting to harm anything that might be living. As peaceful as he was though, he would protect his clan and pavilion with his very life, even if it meant killing to save someone. He was certainly not a pacifist, but respected life until it crossed those boundaries. Looking up towards Wys as he sat upon his respective tree stump, a rarity to be seen in the grasslands, not knowing whom had cut it down, but certainly not caring either as it made a decent seat instead of sitting upon the frozen ground.

"I'd offer you a seat, but as you can see, the stump has pretty much room for one person, and the ground is quite chilled..." he said, also not offering a seat to the pycon as he knew that she had a mount she could sit upon and be quite relaxed. Looking down towards her, she seemed almost stressed out, and Leto noticed this. "Are you okay?" he then asked her, his dark eyes training upon her and the kitten that she was riding upon. "Your voice seems to be shallow..." he said, noticing that she might be fatigued, but not knowing the reasons why she might feel that way, just that he could tell she had peeped at him a hello, but it wasn't in a strong definitive voice, rather a low hallowed voice...

As if sensing Wystern's dislike for Ariel, as well as for animals, Rafael's body slowly tensed. His tail stuck straight up in the air, and his fur spiked- as though he had just been electrified. His back arched slightly upwards, lifting Ariel slightly in her saddle. She hugged his body more tightly with her legs, the stirrups digging into Rafael's side a bit as his eyes grew wider and wider. They were engulfed by a tiny flame, that was slowly but surely growing stronger. His mouth was open, exposing his elongated teeth, a steady trickle of saliva dripping off the tips and onto his tongue. He was hissing angrily up at Wys, extending his claws and then retracting them over and over again.

"Guess you don't like him either," Ariel whispered as she leaned into Rafael's saddle, inching closer to his ears. She patted his neck as Rafael continued to hiss at Wystern. Ariel sat back up in the saddle, and looked up at Wys, a fake smile playing across her features, as Rafael extended his front right paw, and swatted at Wystern. Ariel snapped her tiny clay fingers, "ohh Rafael be nice," she scolded, playfully. She didn't really mean it. Rafael's actions amused her after all.

Ariel ignored everything that Wys had said, the pycon didn't think much of the knight, and thus, wouldn't waste her time on him. But when the Drykas asked if she was alright, she replied courteously, but simply, "just a little tired," as she tugged on Rafael's reigns. The kitten had not stopped hissing at Wys, and appeared as though he were about to leap atop of Wystern's leg, and use it as a common chew toy.

"I was a little caught up in the moment to know better. Besides, a man has to be able to expand his limits, no? And it's fine, I'd prefer to stand,"[/color] Wys said with a friendly grin. The tension was slowly building, but unfortunately it would not rise far, bound to the height of the girl and her kitten. Wys disliked her for just dusting him off like that, and yet, he respected her for telling him off. Considering how tiny that life form is, it would be so easy to just take that life away; but again, the code is the code. He wouldn't leave the Knights, especially not over some Pycon who meant less than nothing, scratch the little information that she possessed. Someone less caring will step on her one day and not blink twice about it.

"I will take the silence for a yes, shorty," Wystern said playfully. She could ignore him all she wanted, he had people that despised him in Syliras because of his job, and they were much taller. The Pycon in question is just not worthy enough to be offended over, not worthy enough to spend any negative feelings on. She meant nothing, and she will always mean nothing, and if one day he hears a scream for help from an outside that sounded an awful lot like her, well too bad. Wys isn't perfect, but he is a great ally to those who get to know him. Maybe he was the one who started the conflict by calling her short...in a sentence where he also called her a friend. Whatever, he still had the honor and the pride to not harm her, regardless of how tempting it was sometimes.

How strange, even the kitten seemed to not take a liking to him. Strangely, that upset him more than Ariel did. Wys actually liked cats, he tolerated horses by professional necessity, and the rest of the animals he chose to not have any affiliation with. He didn't bear hatred for them, it's just that he could never really get along with them. He didn't like Kelvics or Dhani either, but the latter because of the Council's position on them. Kelvics caused a lot of public disturbances. But still, if the cat ever decided to have a go at it, he would not think twice about swatting it away with the cane. Or maybe just stabbing straight through it with the end, the developing skulls are weak to say the least. It was a little menacing to think about how he would kill an animal.

"I would say that those who deceive tend to have shallow voices, a little like Pycons do," Wys said with the voice that carried all the calmness in the world. He noticed the res was leaving his hand after a couple of minutes or so of inactivity and the dropped concentration. The energy slowly began to make its way down, noticeable by anyone standing nearby.

Perhaps he shouldn't have done anything with Reimancy in public, but the upcoming idea would be so much more fun. The kitten was obviously only trained enough to pass as a kid with an attention deficit. Wys closed his eyes, slowed the breathing and a bead of sweat rolled down the back of his head. Wys carefully moved his left index finger in circular motions, trying to keep the gesture hidden, as he spun the the energy and willed the Res to summon a low wind, trying to aim right between the kitten's eyes. Wys didn't even know why he was casting now, but it only took seconds. Getting back at the Pycon in a way that couldn't kill her was a very interesting thing to do right now. The joy casting brought to him was worth the whole Mizahar, and it's not like anyone is getting hurt, right?

As the kitten was hissing towards Wes, Leto could feel the tension between the two rising. It was almost as if he was a balance between them, and he could only take so much. He didn't think his aunt and uncle, when they spoke of him becoming more social, would want him to get in between a pissing match by two people of entirely different races. The little clay race, and the human just didn't seem to get along at all, and it was bleedingly obvious. Leto watched as the man's res disappeared from his hand, and he thought about it for a moment. What was that? was what he was thinking, not having much experience with Reimancers, only knowing that he sold them glyphs so they could store their spells. Looking up towards Wes, he was about to ask what he was doing when he felt a quick chill by his legs, heading right in the direction of the poor kitten.

What the heck? he thought, and looked down towards the pycon and the kitten to see how it affected them. Turning his head back up towards Wes, his dark gaze settling on him, it made him a bit disturbed that he would be using some form of magic against the little pycon. She hadn't done anything wrong that Leto was aware of, just simply had come over to say hello to him, and greet him and be social. Why was this man doing what he was doing to her, and terrorizing her kitten like that. It just wasn't right, and Leto knew it. "Stop..." he said simply, and then continued. "Whatever it is you're doing. Endrykas is no place for foolish and immature games such as this one." The man looked up towards him, unaware of why he was acting so immature towards the pycon, but at least aware that it was wrong in every sense of the word.

"I do not know what she did to you, or why you seem to dislike her, but there is little reason to be taking it out upon her in mean games such as the one you just did," he said simply, explaining how rude it was that Wys had just used some form of magic against her. As he was about to continue speaking, he heard a neigh, and looked around. His Strider, Arias began to approach him, and then layed down behind the stump he was sitting upon. "Ah yes, perhaps to break whatever tension has built, this is my strider, Arias..." he said, his common lacking in fluent tongue, but at least enough to be able to communicate towards the two of them. Hopefully he would be able to mediate whatever problems there were between them, and while looking from one to the other, he would nod.

"Now, if both of you behave, we can have a conversation," he then said, looking towards either of them, and wondering why exactly they were acting like this. "If you don't mind me asking, and only one of you speak at a time please, what happened that made you two so... angered towards one another?" he then asked, his tongue a bit broked when speaking common, but at least he hopefully got the point across, about how they needed to solve their problems in some way, lest they'd never be able to get along. The man seemed almost racist with his slurs against the pycon, so perhaps that was the root of their problems. If that was so, then there was little Leto could do to help either of them, but if not, perhaps he could mediate a gentle calm between the two of them...
Back again... for a lil longer this time I hope.

Ariel felt it before she saw it- a sudden gust of wind coming from Wystern's direction. Her eyes grew wide as the gust picked up and Rafael started mewling angrily, and then in a terrified manner. His fur was fluffing up, giving him the appearance of an angry bird, but with fur as opposed to feathers. His claws were extended, and digging into the dirt beneath his paws, causing some of it to fan out and form a v shape around his paws as he was forced slowly backwards by the wind. It was as though he were plowing the dirt with his claws. "Wys..." Ariel mumbled as she grit her teeth and pulled back on the reigns, trying to convince Rafael that it was alright and that he shouldn't go anywhere.

But her efforts were in vein, frightened, Rafael turned abruptly on his heels and started to run back in the direction the two of them had come. "Stupid knight... stupid giants... with their stupid magic... I hope he goes crazy and kills himself..." she mumbled as Rafael continued running through the obnoxiously over-sized grass. Ariel pulled up on his reigns, Rafael instantly dug the heels of his paws into the dirt, and he came to a grinding halt. Ariel's body was forced forward in her saddle, and if she had not been hugging Rafael's body so tightly in the stirrups, she may have been thrown from her mount, over his head and onto the ground. Ariel sighed, breathing in deeply, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

And another thing to add to her list of dislikes, and entities to avoid: Sylirian knights, Ariel thought, as she tugged on the reign with her right hand, tapping the reign against Rafael's body lightly. Willing him to turn back around. Rafael didn't budge. Ariel rolled her eyes, why was he always so darn stubborn? she wondered as she gave him a swift kick in the side, and reluctantly, he lurched forward. Ariel tugged on the right side of the reigns again, and the kitten turned, padding over to where she had left Wys and the Drykas.

By the time she had returned, the Drykas was introducing his strider, Arias. Ariel smiled, and waved a tiny hello to the horse. As soon as that was done, however, she turned back to Wys, and glared. Her eyes turned into tiny daggers, and Rafael instantly resumed his "angry kitten," pose. His back arched, his claws were extended, his tail was swishing back and forth, his fur was standing at attention, and his teeth were bared as he hissed furiously at Wystern, spewing spit at the knight's feet and cane. Ariel smirked, she was overjoyed that her kitten couldn't stand the knight either.

"Well Mr. Knight, why don't I just add this to my growing list of grievances? First you carry me around and insist I teach your crazy self auristics, and when I refuse to teach you... you bloody chase after me and tackle me, hold me captive, and then, as though that weren't enough, today, you made fun of Rafael here," Ariel began, and just as she said this, Rafael swatted at Wys again with his front right paw, almost in response to her words, "and now you use magic against me and my mount, who has done nothing to harm you... except hiss and spit... which, really isn't much at all considering everything you have done to us you arrogant, no good, low-life, sad-excuse for a knight in shining armor... you big fat, giant no-good bully..." Ariel's voice began to trail off a bit as she huffed and puffed and the red pigmentation in her tiny clay face grew to be more and more prominent. A series of curses made their way past her lips, they were all directed at the knight. "May you be killed doing whatever it is you silly knights do" Ariel ended her long and angry rant at Wys.

Ariel held the reigns tightly in her hands as her eyes returned to normal. She looked up at the Drykas, "sorry," she said as sweetly as she could, mumbling under her breath, "it's amazing that I'm the five year old and manage to be more grown up than most of the grown-ups." She cast Wys a sideways glance before looking back at the Drykas. Ohh how she hated giants, 99.9% of the time. All they ever did was pick on her kind, because they were small. A lot of them liked to smash their heads in just for fun. They were really only bullies a lot of the time, and it bothered Ariel, what did she ever do to them other than curse and yell when they nearly stepped on her... AGAIN? Stupid giants, Ariel thought, always picking on people who aren't even their size. It made Ariel wish she was at least 15 times their size, and could squash them beneath her shoe, and think nothing of it. That would show them what it was like to be a pycon, she thought.

OOCI know Wys said that it would be a gust directed at Rafael's eyes, but because he is new to reimancy, and has no idea what he is doing/slash Rafael and Ariel are tiny, and kittens tend to scare easy... I figured it may be a little worse for us than he suggested.

Also, I know there are no real giants in Miz, but Ariel is three inches tall, so everything is giant to her. So she sees you guys as giants.
