DAY, SEASON, 517AV
Hansel was quite cold, Ramona had thought she was being quiet. It seemed that when she was talking, it bothered him. She frowned, and shut her mouth and readied her arrow as Hansel wanted her to. Ramona was quiet when Hansel told her to ready her arrow. Out of nervousness, she notched the arrow. She was struggling a bit, but she had managed to get it rested against the string and the bow.
There was no three. Hansel just fired his arrow. Ramona took aim before the deer started to run. Her arrow flew just above the body of the deer. Ramona had thought she had hit the deer, but it seemed that Hansel was lucky and had hit the deer instead of her. She growled in envy, though she brushed the envy aside and figured that she could improve her archery with more practice. It might just be luck that he managed to hit the deer. Still, it was a good thing that someone had hit it, because now it was trailing a lead of blood. Wherever it went, they were bound to take it down sooner, rather than later.
"Let's follow it, remount."Ramona stated excitedly, and whistled Anthem over, before she mounted she went to retrieve her arrow that landed between two stones. Fortunately, the arrow was not damaged, and she wouldn't need to buy another arrow. The huntress remounted Anthem, and clicked her heels against the sides of her Strider, and Ramona began following. She didn't bother to wait, she'll wait when the deer stops. This time, they would catch it.
