While Sanctuary has a wide variety of horses, including purebreeds and mixed breeds, the entire facility does have a breeding program and is working for an overall goal of creating a new breed of horse bred for extreme intelligence and battle prowess as a light warhorse. The foals of Sanctuary are not given images and added to the brood mare herd or into the Sales list until they are three years of age and at least started under harness. Kavala has traditionally traded quite a few foals for services. They are for sale, of course, but she generally charges 50 gold as a weanling. When they are a yearling, they are a 100 gold, at two they are 150 gold, and once they are three they fall into the full price of 400 gold if they were bred or foaled at Sanctuary. Kavala values her animals. Once three years of age, she will add them to her lists above along with an image and start using them in her breeding program if she doesn't trade them in Endrykas for other horses. Below is a list of births, bloodlines, and sexes. If a PC chooses to purchase a two year old or younger, they can pick the appearance and find an image to suit them. Foaling Records + Retentions As of 514, Kavala's herd is getting too large to track individual animals. She will however thin down to a reasonable amount in Winter 514. Currently she has: So Kavala had her original 33 broodmares + 19 (510) + 16 (511) + 19 (512) + 18 (513) + 11 (514) = 116 mares (22 Denusk) - 66 sold = 50 mares total 15 Stallions (11 Denusk) total 514's birth records are 52 mares bred, 50 birthed (22 fillies, 28 colts). All colts were sold, and half of the fillies were retained (including 3 Denusk). This sale = 3,900 foal crop sold. In 514 Winter, Kavala will sell off 66 mares for 400 gold. Her horses are mixed blooded, larger warhorse types through careful selective breeding. This will earn her 26,400 in adult horse sales.
