The Rookery is widely considered the one piece of neutral ground located within the Nighteye's territory. Because there are times when even the big three must speak with one another, the Nighteye's installed Svantia within the Riverside Dovecote to be the face of their organization.

Since then it has been used as a way to get a foot in the door for any sort of business one wishes to conduct with the Nighteyes, and because of its neutral ground status, it remains open to every Sunberthian who wishes to come.

As to finding it, one needs only to walk along the river and spot a squat stone tower that is a good deal taller than all of the structures around it. That or follow the squawk of ravens and crows that infest the tower. Bold birds, they won't hesitate to accost passersby for food and locals have long since learned to stow their perishables before venturing anywhere near the tower.

Abutting the tower is a two-story cottage where one can find Svantia when she is not staffing the tower. She seldom takes visitors in her cottage, but occasionally in the past, it has been used as a secret meeting place between the big three.

Within the tower, one will find amongst the scores of birds a relatively empty main floor and a stone staircase that spirals up on the right. At the top of that stair is an iron grate that is kept locked at all times. Rumor has it that Svantia keeps the upper level locked away because the Night eyes use them to store part of their immeasurable wealth, but the truth is much more mundane. In reality, the top floor is dedicated to a roughly oval office where Svantia pens messages and stores them as well for birds are always coming to and from the tower with more information.

She can be a bit of a bitch. Being rather cold and distant, usually giving off that vibe to anyone that seeks her out to send a message to the Night Eyes. And who could blame her? She is the front woman for the third largest gang in Sunberth. While all other Night Eyes exist in secret, her identity and position in the gang remains public knowledge. Therefore it makes her a little on edge when dealing with strangers.

However, only those people who are in the Night Eyes truly understands that she is the sweetest woman in the world. All groups, no matter how big or small, tend to have that one person who becomes the 'den mother'. And to a Night Eye, that is Svantia. The woman is able to handle herself in a fight, however, all of Sunberth knows that to target her would be to draw the attention of every blade in the dark. Her home is located deep within Night Eyes gang territory, so anyone that wishes to meet with her will have found themselves observed by countless hooded figures.


 
Goods and Services
For a modest fee, Svantia will deliver a message for you anywhere in Sunberth. If you are a member of the Nighteyes she will do this for free, if not she will charge you 1 gm, double if you are a member of one of the other gangs.

Additionally one can contract the Night Eyes to smuggle something in for you.

- Smuggling will cost 25% of the value of the item being smuggled, with a 10% discount applied for members of the Night Eyes.
