The sun had risen a few bells earlier and since the suns rise, Anibesa had been struggling to get things done. First she’d looked towards the edges of the jungle, though the wood there was not as frequent and she did not trust herself to go further into the jungle alone, then she’d looked towards the sea debating doing some attempted fishing, though she knew that she wanted some form of company for the day.
Now she was stumbling along the beach towards the commons, her backpack was slung over her shoulder, and her fishing tackle and hooks, her Kukri, a flint and steel, and her compass all rested inside the backpack, carefully placed in a way that Anibesa hoped would protect them and stop them from shifting around too much.
In a few chimes she’d made her way to the commons and stoop at the base of it, looking up at the communal meeting place that had been built into a tree. She could see the sheltered area and thought that it might be best to sit there to make sure that she could hide for a bit.
Sighing to climbed up the staircase to the commons, making her way to the sheltered area and taking a seat in the shade, fanning herself with her hand as she enjoyed the slight breeze the ran through the lofted commons.
She leant back for a moment to catch her breath and to revel in the relief from the hot sun before before she sat up again, and then made her way to her feet.
“Anybody looking for any help with anything?” she asked loudly after clearing her throat slightly, hoping that the few people in the commons would be willing to let her help them, or would be looking for something to do for the day.
