Storm Shrine

Zeltiva has always had its fair share of tempestuous weather. When the bay is calm, the city is truly serene, but when the wind blows off the sea and down the straight, the locals call the resulting effect the Bonesnapper. It is aptly named due to its cold and biting nature. Often this can be mixed with cold rain during the winter which makes for a truly miserable time.
It is for this reason that Zulrav holds significance in Zeltiva. The Storm Shrine, sitting just past the farms on a small stretch of clear foothills above the Ancient Quarter, is a small temple devoted to the deity of storms. The architecture does not stand out from the typical modern Zeltivan fair. There is a simple oak door and a circular window to let light in, but the shrine is otherwise inwardly lit by only candlelight. A few coniferous tress surround the small building, and even though it is fairly mundane and indistinguishable, it is a well-known location for prayer among Zeltivans.
Only one acolyte tends to the shrine on a daily basis, but it is open to all who wish to walk up into the foothills and look down upon the city. Inside, the walls are painted with depictions of wind and lightning, and there is a medium bronze offering bowl, where food and candles may be placed for Zulrav. The locals who visit the shrine hope these offerings might placate the weather. The sailors, more so than anyone, prefer calm conditions out in the bay for the safe voyage of ships in and out of the city.
