Vhanet gave a soft shudder as she watched the woman's fangs extend, and she watched with barely concealed desire to see the woman inject her venom. When the woman ripped the meat in half out of hunger Vhanet blinked in surprise. Perhaps she had been in a bit more danger than she realized. The thought sent a small thrill up her spine.
Vhanet was silent for a moment after the woman spoke of her impatience as she contemplated how to respond. The woman might appreciate it if Vhanet stopped playing the game now, as it seemed she was not the type to play, but doing so might put Vhanet at a disadvantage. She would play for a little longer, but a hint of truth wouldn't hurt, "I do have an offer I would like you to think on," Vhanet glanced around in a show of nervousness, as if not wanting someone to hear what she was about to say, "I have heard much of the venom of your people, and would like very much to obtain an amount of it. I would be willing to trade, maybe for more meat or coin?"
