Hey guys, Kayn's just arrived in Syliras, he is a young Akalak adventurer.

I would love to start some RP, but fair warning I'm going to be splitting my attention and time between flashbacks in Riverfall to rack up some xp, and Syliras.

I'm so excited to start my new pc here!! I'm hoping to make a couple friends for Seline, and I want to work on her dance and cooking skills.
I also want ot take her out to Sunberth eventually, so I'm definitely interested in learning something with a blade (or just picking up a friend with a blade

) and working on her fire reimancy so she can defend herself out in the big bad world

And yeah, just wanted to say hi, let you know I'm here and all that

You'll definitely be seeing me around, at least until the end of the season

I was reading the lore and just want to ask, so buskering and performing stuff on the streets of Syliras is not allowed?

You can do a little buskering and street performance in Syliras, but it's extremely difficult to make an actual living doing so. Essentially you can do a thread or two doing such activities in Syliras without much problem, but you cannot have a job and receive seasonal wages for such.

In the past, when there has been enough interest, Dusk has run a Wild Streets thread for those wishing to pursue less than legal jobs in Syliras. It allows those participating to receive seasonal wages, but also carries with it risks of becoming known as a criminal, among other things. The last Wild Streets thread is here.

Ack, I just made a flashback thread on buskering to develop some skills. What do I do then?

You can just continue on with your Flashback, if you'd like. The rules are a little more lenient when it comes to them, and when you turn it in for grading we'll let you know if there is anything that doesn't fit or needs to be changed.

It's fine to have it go to Leviathan, he's a Syliras AS as well after all, and he'll probably get to it sooner than me as I have a bit of a backlog I am working through at the moment.
