Dreamscapes is now open!

Welcome to Dreamscapes!

This is a forum for Dreams which may not fit into other forums. Minds can meet here that are in different physical locations. Threads can be esoteric and not follow the rules the rest of the game has established. However, there's a catch. Dream threads cannot be awarded experience points. You cannot learn new things or information in dreams. You can, occasionally, be awarded lores that regard you dreams, or very rarely an occasional observation point or two. Unless you are a Dreamwalker who has the gnosis Dreamwalking, then you cannot actually 'control' your own dreams. Because of this fact, all dreams are open to storytellers popping in for the length and duration of the dream or for a single post. Also, all threads in this forum are considered open unless otherwise marked. Writers can control their pc's dreamscapes, but in order for PCs to actually control their own actions in dreams (lucidly) they need to have some mental discipline or meditation that's appropriate to the action.

Timestamping is required. Also, any storytellers are free to pop in on any of the Dreamscape threads they'd like too unless you specifically mark them 'closed'.

Also, as we grow, there will be more forums opened for 'alternative' realms. This is especially true as new worlds get developed and people start rping in oddly defined places.

What a marvelous addition to the site! When new worlds open, such as those used for Summoning, and Alahea's old outposts, I think they'll have their own set up in no time!

Wow, what a beautiful surprise! It almost feels like a Christmas present. Thank you very much.

I have a few questions though ...

1. Are the Dreamscapes also open for Konti who spend a thread viewing the content of someone's Chavi? And I suppose Tanroa's antechamber (I think that's how it's called) doesn't count as part of the Dreamscapes?

2. So you can't control the content of your dreams, but you can still describe it yourself and a moderator is not required. Mods will chime in from time to time to make things more interesting, but they're not required for a thread, right? Just checking. I'm sure we as players will have lots of fun rping our characters in such an unstable environment.

1. Exactly. If you want to RP in the Chavena, this is a great place to do it. If you are using Divination, its absolutely controlled because thats how you are skilled. Same goes for Dreamwalkers. As we get more Dreamwalkers too, I suspect they'll be popping into threads like mods can.
