Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

Forging Bonds (Aleath, open)

Ishamael made sure that Dimitri and his master were well on their way, continually smiling and thanking them for the deer. As they left Ishamael turned and noticed Aleath laying in the grass. Making his way towards her, Ishamael began to contimplate how to once again apologize to her. She makes me so unwound, I have never met anyone like her Ishamael thought as he laid in the grass next to her.

For a time neither spoke. It was a comfortable relaxing silence of peace and serenity. However, Ishamael still felt awful about earlier events. Just as Ishamael was about to break the silence, Aleath mentioned going for a walk. Rising to his feet Ishamael dusted the loose strands of grass off of himself, and offered a hand to help Aleath up.

Of course, a nice relaxing walk sounds amazing, I think I have been trying to outdo myself around you. I train and butcher deer, and bring you into all that without really knowing that much about you. I would now take this time to remedy that mistake and open up myself.

Smiling Ishamael offered his arm for Aleath to take as they walked. His spirits were a little higher now that he understood that Aleath was not as upset as he originally thought.

Aleath looked at Ishamael, while she was still lying on the ground and eating the berries. He still looked troubled about the training, because he thought it was his fault.

She took his hand when she stood up and held it. Looking into his eyes, she spoke warmly. "Please, stop worrying about it. The training was great. I learned some new things. It was not your fault at all. I wanted to train and I really enjoyed it." she smiled at him. Then she gave him a quick peck on his cheek, released his hand and quickly went to retrieve her things from the camp.

She knew she would be embarrased about her actions later and she hoped that he didn't think that she was stupid, but she had to show him how much she appreciated everything he had done. She didn't meet anybody that kind for a long time. It seemed like she knew him for as long as she could remember.

She then called Shade to her, who was lying on the ground and watching them all the time they were fighting and returned to Ishamael, who now offered her his arm. She took it and began walking with him towards the lake.

Should we end it here and make a new chapter of our adventure in a new thread? What do you think?

Forging Bonds (Aleath, open)

Ishamael was shocked when Aleath kissed him, albeit on the cheeck, yet as she gathered her belongings he couldn't help but smile widely. [She is different he thought, the spot where her soft lips had touched his cheeck tingled like bottled electricity against his skin. When she returned he offered his arm and she took it, and they began to walk.

Shade was loping lazily among the two of them, so Ishamael clucked and Hopper immediately began to follow as well. The poor strider had been pent up most of the day and longed to run, but a walk would sooth his restlesness.

As they walked along the lake, the surface shimmering in the sun, Ishamael moved his hand down along Aleath's arm till he cupped his hand in hers. As he did so he began to speak.

Aleath, I feel that there is something special about you. You understand me and I feel comfortable like I have not been since I left my home. Tomorrow I must continue on my way, and I understand if you cannot or do not wish to, but I would enjoy your presence as I travel. whether or not you come with me, I would like to perform a webbing on you. By doing this we will always have a connection, a bond of sorts. So....what do you think? Am I just crazy?

During his short speech Ishamael had stopped and turned towards Aleath so the he was looking her in the eyes. His hand had increased in pressure on hers. He had a soft smile as he spoke and his hair framing his face and falling into his eyes slightly. His heart was beating furiously in his chest as he spoke and his mind raced of all the possible reasons for Aleath to simply leave.

OOC :

Forging Bonds (Aleath, open)

Postby Aleath on May 9th, 2011, 8:12 am

As Aleath walked beside Ishamael, she felt content. She didn't feel this way for a very long time, but now it seemed like nothing bad could happen to them. It was like they didn't need to worry about anything even though the local land wasn't very safe.

Ishamael had something about him that made her feel safe. Maybe the reason for this was that she had seen the training with Dimitri. She knew that he would be able to defend all of them if it was needed. And she herself knew a little about fighting too now.

She looked up, surprised when Ishamael stopped, looked at her, took her hand gently into his and started to speak. Her heart sank when she heard that he would have to leave soon. She will be alone again, she thought, sadly. But immediately after that, Ishamael offered her to travel with him and on top of that he said he could establish some kind of connection between them.

She smiled widely and answered, almost jumping up with excitement like a child. "Of course I would like to travel with you! I...found that I don't want to travel alone anymore. Ooh, this will be great!" Her smile faltered suddenly and she hesitated for a moment. "About the connection...I would like to do it, but what is it like? Does it hurt?" she asked looking at him with eyes full of worry.

After a while, before he could say something, she smiled. "You know what? Let's not talk about this for now. First, we will go to look at the lake and there you can explain it to me."

With that she turned towards the said direction and with Ishamael's hand in hers she began walking down the road.

Notes: An interesting read. :) A couple little things to note:

Ishamael: Several times throughout the thread you used/mentioned items that you do not have listed on your character sheet as having ever purchased. If you had actually had the equipment I would have been able to reward you with more experience. Please make sure you have everything that you use in the future. :)

Aleath: Vantha and Drykas are humans, just subsets of them. Much like there are different breeds of dogs. They're all dogs, but different breeds have different traits. Generic humans are essentially the mutts of humanity. :)

Dimitri: During the spar you were facing two opponents with spears while using a sword. With both of them stating they were keeping their distance it'd be difficult to try and strike at them both as quickly as you were doing it. :)

Feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns. :)
My posting and other AS work will be slow for the time being. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and I'll try to get back up and running at full speed soon.
