The Wilderness of Cyphrus is an endless sea of tall grass that rolls just like the oceans themselves. Geysers kiss the sky with their steamy breath, and mysterious craters create microworlds all their own. But above all danger lives here in the tall grass in the form of fierce wild creatures; elegant serpents that swim through the land like whales through the ocean and fierce packs of glassbeaks that hunt in packs which are only kept at bay by fires. Traverse it carefully, with a guide if possible, for those that venture alone endanger themselves in countless ways.

Flye offered him a tired smile, "Easy enough." She stood walking over to him, and taking a seat next to him, feeling no fear or intimidation. Since he had shown no hostile signs toward her. "When do we leave again?" She wrapped her arms around her legs and held onto her ankles. She looked down, hair brushing her cheeks gently. She still felt dirty even after cleaning herself, but maybe she get herself cleaned up more at Endrykas.

Then the thoughts she had tried to block out resurfaced. What if Endrykas wasn't the place for her to be? What if nothing worked out right there? She prayed that it did. To no god in particular, or maybe to them all. 'Please let it work.'

" It gladdens me to hear that " he said watching her warmly as she approached him. " Sometimes sleep on the sea of grass can be hard for those not use to the sights and sounds during the night ” Erzotol said with a knowing look, and wrapped a arm around one of his knees, and scratched the fur behind Laeon's ears. The attention perked the fox up, and seeing a woman beside his master, he bounded over interested in the stranger.

Erzotol noted this with an amused smile then looked at her. " We can leave as soon as you wish " Looking out over the sky he noted that it would be fair weather once more today, and that bode well for their traveling. Looking into her eyes again he smiled as he said, " shouldn’t be too far from their now "

Flye sighed, "That's a relief. I can't believe I'm finally going to get there," She looked at him kindly, "Thank you." She watched the man's small fox scamper toward them in a curious fashion. "Soon would be good," she stood up, brushing a strand of hair behind her left ear, "As soon as possible."

She crossed her arms, gazing out over the grass, or well, at the grass, since she wasn't quite tall enough to look over it all. There was a small gust of wind that felt good against Flye's skin as it blew her hair and clothes back. She could get used to this land. It was nice, but for how long, she had no clue.

" It is my pleasure " Erzotol replied with a half smile, blinking his eyes slowly, and rubbing the side of his face. He took her answer as an invitation to get up, and after a brief dusting of himself off, he stretched. Gesturing for his horse to rise, he turned back to face the woman sitting on the ground. " As you wish, we shall leave now " he said lowering his eyes to the ground briefly, before offering a hand to help her up.

After she was safely on his feet, he walked over to his belongings and packed them up quickly before slinging the pack over his back. He loosely carried the steeds yvas in his left hand, and with a practiced ease strapped on the white leather seat gently on his horse, gently stroking its mane before gaining purchase on the yvas. With Laeon safely in his pack, he looked down from on top of the horse, and extended his hand for a second time. " I will try to keep good pace this day to see you to your destination "

Flye took his hand without question or hesitation. She was almost there, because of him. She would owe this man everything when she got there. She would see that she repaid him...somehow, but she knew nothing she did would ever amount what he has done for her. Though it doesn't seem like much that he has done, to her, he has made it possible for her to achieve what she has always wanted.

When she had finally gotten situated behind Erzotol, she felt her heart begin to beat faster. For a moment, she had forgotten the fear of riding she had attained earlier. Instead of fear, she felt excitement. It was time to go. "I'm ready." She wrapped her arms around him tightly, waiting for his horse to begin this journey.

His skin tingled as she wrapped her arms tightly around him, and when he was satisfied her grip was secure, he gently urged his horse into motion, the fine steed easily galloping across the distance. It would be a long day of riding and still a day or more of travel would be left. Around midday he stopped to split a midday meal along with the woman, along with some pleasant conversation that helped ease the time along before they were off again. He felt that he had set a good pace, and by the end of the day when the sun had finally set, they would break for camp again taking the time to relax, eat, chat, and for Erzotol to clean Airaiet. The night would prove uneventful thankfully, and within the morning after a night of patrolling Erzotol repeated a routine similar to that which he did the previous morning setting out again with Flye's arms wrapped around him.

There they were now ridding out along the grasslands, and slowly they rode down a dip before starting back up a grassy hill. Erzotol felt strange this morning, he had been feeling closer to the woman because of spending so much time alongside her, but he kept his feelings guarded and most assuredly did not intend to let her know his growing fondness of her. Instead he kept his mind distracted for the goal of their trip, and as they crested the last hill, he smiled a smile that was bittersweet. At last Endrykas was in sight, a maze of tall grass arrayed out before them. Luckily he knew the subtle guides that his step-father used to help guide him through the well known mazes, and he was confident he could pick his way through there easy enough.

Soon they were on the outskirts of the city and a rush of mixed feelings over swept him but he pushed them down with a smile, and other thoughts, turning back to face the girl. " We're here at last " he said softly, and slowly he dismounted and then looked up at her. Then his hands moved to her sides to pick her up and help her down if she would allow him. After she was down on the ground he would look at her and off her another smile and dip his head respectfully. Hopefully it is all she wanted in more he silently prayed.

Time passed so slowly as they traveled, but when the distant forms of tents in the distance became visible, that time seemed so worth at for the feeling she was having. They cloased in on the camp, and steadily Flye saw how large this place actually was. Unnoticed, her mouth fell slightly open, and she stared in awe, "It's...bigger than I thought," She managed to stutter out.

"We're here at last," She heard Erzotol say.

He dismounted the horse, looking up at her with a small smile. Flye couldn't help but smile back. He hands fell upon her waist, and he carefully helped her down from her horse. She offered quiet words of thanks, before looking to the side of him to see what awaited her. She could hear people's voices and the sound sof animals. Wonderful smells hit her senses in a sudden wave as well. She was so nervous, she actually found herself shaking with excitement.

She took in a shaky breath, "You are...going in with me...right?" She looked at him with large, beautiful golden eyes. She knew she wouldn't be able to do it on her own. She probably wouldn't be able to bring herself to walk through the gates by herself. "This is," She swallowed, "A bit overwhelming." She was overreacting, and she knew it, but honestly, she couldn't help it. She knew Erzotol would understand.

From behind her, he could see her body tremble but he misread it as fear. Erzotol ever observant of such things walked slowly up behind her and tenderly placed his hand on her delicate shoulder as a way to steady and comfort her. " Your going to be fine, I'll help you every step of the way " he said softly, and offered a comforting smile. Looking back to the city, he let his mind wander across the many sprawling tents, and pavilions, the free flowing sense of the city so chaotic yet it made so much sense to him.

A small gust of wind swept across them, and he squinted his eyes slightly as the cool wind blew across his features, tossing his hair back playfully. Suddenly he remembered his hand was on her shoulder and blushing slightly he let his hand drop back from it back to his side. Hopefully she didn't notice my lingering touch he briefly thought, and he took a few hesitant steps forward, keeping his eyes focused on the pavilions before him.

Turning his head back to face her, his eyes locked with hers and he offered her a reassuring smile. " I'll go with you to wherever you wish " he said with a smile, and turning back he made a small gesture in grassland sight telling his strider to follow. He stood there for a moment to wait for Flye to walk up beside him, and once she was he walked in line with her into the city of pavilions.
