[Kova's Wishing Well] Hide and Seek [Jokor, Open]

Jokor was mentally screaming to the man, that now revealed to him that his name was seven a rather strange name if you asked him, to get his petching gaze away from him and on something else! He didn't want to get seen by that person. Luckely for him though it seemed that the guy was more interested in looking over seven then anything that might have been lurking in the shadows.

When Seven looked rather awkward and nervous jokor decided to stay around in the shadows for a while and listen in for a while, if the guy tried something funny he could beat the skinny bastard into the ground and ask a reward from seven to get him out of his situation if nothing bad happened he might have some blackmail and petch the way the new guy was eyeballing seven he would eat his own boots if nothing funny happened between the two of them that could earn him a few free rounds at the tavern at night.

Silently slipping towards the other side of the alley ,taking care that his boots didn't make any sound that would alarm the new guy, so that he was more or less behind him or at least a way to quickly put his dagger to the man's troath at the least. Or if he was less kind at the moment just kick his feet from underneath his body. Putting his had on one of his daggers he gave a silent nod towards seven hopefully showing that he had his back.

[Kova's Wishing Well] Hide and Seek [Jokor, Open]

Postby Nathaniel on May 19th, 2011, 10:58 am

Nate smiled lightly as the stranger identified himself, "Well, Seven, It did appear that i startled you so your being slightly startled is understandable." He smiled again this time it was almost a grin as he noticed the lasting blush on Seven's cheeks. Nathaniels hand lightly rested on his satchel as he said, "Well actually i had come to write some poetry.. but umm.. I suppose i could do that later." He now was experiencing his own blush but he cleared his throat lightly.

His eyes raking over him again but only ever so slightly he tilted his head and said, "Not to be rude or anything.. but are you a mixed blood of some type? Your canines seem unusually.. long.. and sharp." Nate let a small grin grace his face hoping that Seven would take no offense in his observation.

[Kova's Wishing Well] Hide and Seek [Jokor, Open]

Seven lifted a finger to his lips and stuck it in his mouth, sliding it along the line of his teeth and pressing it firmly against one sharp fang as if to confirm Nathaniel's observation. Wiping the finger that was now wet with saliva off on the front of his shirt, Seven smiled calmly. "Aye, my blood is mixed." Seven hesitated to go on. Jokor loomed in the corner of his eye, although this time his gaze did not float to the figure in the darkness. He nearly gave him away before with his carelessness and was not prepared to do it again. The details of the rogue's face were blurred in his peripherals, but he could see the makings of a smirk. Why did Jokor look so smug? Then it dawned on him, and his blush deepened glowing bright on his pale skin as he noted Nathaniel's amorous gaze.

"So you are a poet?" A change of subject. Being on the other side of that dreamy look for the first time, Seven inwardly apologized to Dimitri. "I tried writing poetry once, but, I am not really that creative. If you do not mind me asking, what do you write about?" Seven's hands slipped into his pockets and he stepped away from the alley and further into the Stone Gardens, back towards Kova's well as he continued to speak. He prayed Nathaniel would follow him away from Jokor. "This was a good choice to come to write. I come here to think, it is peaceful here." A nod, before Seven turned himself around to face Nathaniel as he continued to slowly walk backwards.

Nate chuckled lightly as he stuck a finger in his mouth. is he unsure of his own race? he smiled wide when he found that he was right. As Sevens blush deepened his eyebrow raised but he merely shrugged it off and followed him as he began to walk away. Hearing that he was still talking he drew a bit closer seeing as he didn't want Seven to have to talk too loudly.

He smiled lightly and nodded as he said, "It is a sort of a gift.. but it's not all that hard to do.. you just have to have an idea, be able to put it into words, and make those words flow." He shrugged lightly before getting a bit quieter. "I um.. I write about a lot of different things."

He looked around before he lightly said, "yes, this place did look like it would be peaceful.. nice place to just let ideas flow."

Jokor just had a smirk on his face as he watched seven squirm under the other man's gaze and his questions, there weren't a lot of times you could amuse yourself while the other guy knew you where laughing at him but couldn't do anything about it.

When seven began trying to lead the other guy away while talking about peotry of all things. Feeling his interest almost leak away at the word itself Jokor slowly backed away from the duo keeping his eyes on them for a few more steps just to make sure he wasn't spotted before turning around and walking down the alley, making sure he didn't make to much sound, his dark clothes making him meld into the darkness with almost no effort.

[Kova's Wishing Well] Hide and Seek [Jokor, Open]

Postby Seven Xu on May 19th, 2011, 9:40 pm

As the figure slipped into the darkness in Seven's peripherals, he knew that he had been left alone with Nathaniel in the gardens. Part of him was relieved that the newcomer hadn't been eviscerated by the rogue, but he still had the urge to chase after Jokor. He was an interesting little man. Someone that would be able to teach him something, perhaps, for a price. The smooth stone edge of Kova's Well pressed against his fingers and stopped him in his backward path. "I do not meet many people that can read well, let alone write well." A fanged grin, and Seven brushed white bangs from his eyes.

Symenestra were well-known for their powers of seduction. It was a valuable skill to have when one needed to lure a woman into her eventual death. Seven, on the other hand, was to seduction as an Eypharian was to tactfulness. Perhaps there was no better time to learn, and impulsiveness got the best of the half-blood when the promise of getting what he wanted came into play. What he wanted, being left alone to chase after Jokor. "Tell me more. Have you ever written about Leth? Zintila's glorious stars?" Seven crossed his arms loosely across his chest, leaning against Kova's well and leering at the dark-haired Nathaniel. This couldn't be too hard. He looks at me like I'm a piece of meat anyway. Ah, but I feel like such a pervert. Seven's tongue lashed out across his dry lips and he cocked his head to the side in interest.

[Kova's Wishing Well] Hide and Seek [Jokor, Open]

Nathan now grew lightly anxious feeling awkward under Sevens glance and feeling fidgety after each new inquiry. He cleared his throat before he lightly said, "Did i look at you the wrong way, and now this is your pay back? I'm sorry then alright? I now understand how uncomfortable you felt and if you wish to leave simply say so and i'll be out your hair but no mind games are needed alright?" Nate looked back up at Seven now slightly offended as he gently said, "There is no need to pretend you are interested in what i do.. No need for you to strike up fake conversations."

Nate had shut down as he always did when people tried to dig deeper. It's not that he wanted to. It's just that he felt as if no one could understand him and no one wanted to understand him. So when people dug his first and most automatic defense was to merely push them away.

Postby Seven Xu on May 20th, 2011, 11:35 am

Seven's face almost faulted, but he kept his lofty expression. Inwardly, Nathaniel's sudden change in attitude threw him for a loop and the anger began to bubble up inside of him. Anger he had gotten good at suppressing. Who was he to rebuke him for trying to continue a conversation that he started? Really? Was that how it was going to go? Do you just walk up to strangers randomly and act rude when they try to strike up a conversation in a situation you made awkward? How dare you? Googly-eyed brat. Perhaps if he pushed, he would drive Nathaniel away and he wouldn't need a more elaborate plan that had been hashed out in his busy mind.

The grin grew and Seven clicked his tongue, shaking his head slowly. "You have me all wrong," he was proud of the calmness in the tone of his voice despite the rage that was festering in his stomach due to the man's confusing actions. "I am merely interested in what a talented individual such as yourself writes about. I apologize, if that is wrong of me to ask. And did I ever ask you to leave? Perhaps it is you that is playing mind games." Did that sound too confrontational? Seven gauged Nathaniel's face for a response, although he continued talking with a soothing smile. "Come on, walk with me. Perhaps we can find a nice place in the Citadel to sit down for tea and you can tell me more about your writing."

Nathaniel wasn't used to people wanting to know about him or anything he did. Normally people were shallow and merely asked for the sake of conversation but then here comes this stranger who actually cared... or was merely a very good actor.

He blushed lightly at Seven's compliments before he lightly shook his head and said, "It wasn't wrong of you to ask. You're merely curious and I apologize for snapping earlier. I'm not used to people outside of my family giving a damn about me." He chuckled lightly and shook his head, "I do love mind games but alas, I know when I've been out matched and dear sir I'd be a fool to even try mind games with you."

Nodding a last time Nate moved to walk next to Seven as they made their way to the Citadel.

[Kova's Wishing Well] Hide and Seek [Jokor, Open]

Postby Seven Xu on May 21st, 2011, 2:32 pm

Wow, I did it. Seven turned his back to Nathaniel and smirked triumphantly as he lead the taller man back into the Citadel in the general direction he thought he saw Jokor go. Syliras wasn't nearly as busy at night as Lhavit had been. "And do not call my simple attempt to start a conversation a 'mind game'. It hurts my feelings." Seven grinned as his neck craned around to look over his shoulder at Nathaniel. "So are you from around here?" Seven inquired, trying to make it not look so obvious that he was not, as he peered around at unfamiliar shops in a district he had never been. In his searching gaze, he was keeping an eye out for the petite man in dark clothing he had encountered earlier. Such an interesting person, he needed to find him again.

Luring someone around with a web of lies. A sick feeling was festering in the pit of Seven's stomach, a realization that he was probably more Symenestra than he had ever let on -- even to himself. Don't start pitying yourself now. Seven scolded himself and straightened his posture, hands slipping into his pockets as the pair strolled casually through a row of taverns and shops. Seven's tongue kept running across his canines as he hummed. Though they had been there his entire life, there were times that they felt like invaders in his mouth. This was one of those moments. Force a smile and move along, you need to drop him and find Jokor. "Maybe you can help me find a tavern?"
