Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

Nathan didn't understand the way Kelwyn worked sometimes. Maybe it was because he was a follower, but Nathan felt like he was being thrown into situations that he had never been in before. Nathan had been cornered in an alley, and lived. He left home young, never knowing where his next meal would come from. But Kelwyn probably had noticed the first time he blushed in front of a girl, and knew they could exploit it. And they were doing so by making the teenager walk through a city he was unfamiliar with all these beautiful women out and about. Why couldn't one be ugly, so he could ignore that one, focusing on another? Instead, Nathan felt like a child with an entire table of candy in front of him. All there to look at, without any clue which one he wanted. As a child, he didn't understand his father's contant sayings about women, but the one that went "women are both a blessing and a curse" was echoing in his head. And he didn't know which category he fell under.

Taking his mind off of the Konti, he focused on the bridge where his last signpost was resting. The bridge was in the shape of a lizard. Except it had two heads at the front and back. Nathan was so caught up in its beauty that he walked up the bridge without planting the final sign he had. He didn't pause at the head because those emerald eyes looked like they were staring at him, and those fangs appeared ready to eat him. He didn't think the bridge would gain life and attack him, but after one day in Mura, he wasn't going to take anything for granted.

But as he continued up it, he noticed all of the gold inlay, almost like scales of the lizard. And at the apex of the bridge was the shop his signs were leading people to; The Silver Velispar Emporium. Nathan was astounded at the fact that someone would actually put a store on a bridge. But the boy continued walking, only glancing at the tables laid out in the front. This didn't stop him from catching a whiff of a new aroma. It was like vanilla, but better. It was something Nathan had never smelled before, and it nearly drew him to the shop. But a group of Konti was standing over there, and Nathan didn't want to get caught by them. But that didn't stop one from blowing him a kiss.

But as if Kelwyn knew exactly what he was thinking, the women walked over to him. Nathan couldn't help but notice their graceful walk, their perfect hips, and their thin waists. None stood taller than him, but Nathan felt like the chicken cornered by the wolves. And he was enjoying it. And then the one who blew the kiss at him whispered in his ear, telling him that he had missed a sign. The woman's sing-song voice, along with their giggles, was enough to heat Nathan's cheeks. And he knew himself well enough to know his face was as red as rubies. If he was unsure before, Nathan knew now. He was cursed by beautiful women.

Nodding and mumbling thanks, he headed back to put the sign up. But he stopped outside the store. Maybe it was his defiance to being bossed around by women, or maybe it was something bigger. For some reason, he felt pulled to the store. As if a higher being wanted him to buy something. Could gods control their followers to the point of making them buy something, or was it something bigger? Nevertheless, Nathan spoke to the woman outside watching the tables. "May I ask what you sell here? I'm a tourist, and don't quite know everything about this city, and what I may find." So while Nathan waited, he scanned the tables. What would the teenager find to buy?

The Pumpkin Décor [Kail D’Rea, Nathan, Taith]

Postby Taithrosa Eldytia on October 23rd, 2011, 3:42 am

Taithrosa looked at the group of banners that he needed to hang up. As he supected it would they were tall enough for the konti to pass under but he would have to duck under some of them. The large man could easily the gather the banners in his hands and began to hang them up. He could feel the muscles in his arm tense as he lifted up the banner and began to anchor them in at the edges.

He admired the current banner he was hanging up of the goddess of healing, one of his patron gods. He looked at the art as he finished anchoring one side and began to move to the other.

He grabbed the lower edge and then lifted it up and paused to look it over his musclar arms able to hold up the weight with little problem. Once he made sure it ewas straight he began to anchor the other. Once he had that finished he looked at the others and picked up the next one and took it over towards the next location.
Do you think that you could ever, Through all eternity,
Find out the generation Where Gods began to be?
Or see the grand beginning, Where space did not extend?
Or view the last creation, Where Gods and matter end?
Me thinks the Spirit whispers, “No man has found ‘pure space,’
Nor seen the outside curtains, Where nothing has a place.”

Kail
The other woman smiled at Kail. I’m Tessta pleasure to meet you Kail.” She stretched her hands a little and then nodded.

“Yes the festival is very important and lively this time around especially since the harvest was so bountiful this time. We are all very thankful to Bala for that.” She said as she smiled and then watched Kail write some before speaking again.

“What you do is art as well, just a more purposeful art.” The woman continued decorating the signs and was very cheerful to be working along such talent as this obviously skilled copyist.

Nathan

There were all kinds of things strewed about on the tables in front of the store. There were a few Konti staffing the tables who were just making sure all the items could be displayed. It seemed that Ra’mari had a ton of items to move and was using now as an opportunity to do just that. She was going to move as much as she could, because she knew most of this was destined for homes other than here in her shop. She wanted to make room for new things from afar and she knew of only one way to do that. She wouldn’t let any of her treasures just go. No she couldn’t let them just simply go she had to sell them to someone knowing they had a new home and someone that appreciated them.

Ra’mari came out to look over the tables at about the time Nathan came up to ask. She was dressed in colorful, to say the least, robes and had wonderful ribbons tied in her hair and what could only be described as a belt made out of the hide of an unknown animal with an ornate buckle. She almost seemed out of place as she threw him an elaborate smile and motion. “Dearest I sell everything under Syna’s eye. Anything you could ever want is here. Like this!” She said picking up what could only be descried as an ornate looking spyglass. The outside was made of brass but there were ornate engravings all up and down the sides in silver. She pulled it and extended it to the full length as she then set it back in the wooden velvet lined box it came from.

“And this!” She said ecstatically as she picked up a sighting lens of some kind and then set it down. “I’ll make you a deal on any of this since I do need to make room for what my daughters have brought back to me. I have so many wonderful treasures.” She said as she waited for the man to notice anything that he wanted. But it was clear the woman needed to move things.

Taith
There were all kinds of banners to be hung today, and Taith was the person for the job. None of the Konti could reach quite as high as he could. And that made the entire event easier on those that would have to hang these wonderful ornate banners by themselves. The next in line was Avalis. He would see a seers eye and lily. He knew the Konti women idolized her and that she lived somewhere on this isle. Maybe sometime he would see her. Although many knew of her messages, but fewer knew of her presence. It was rumored that she held company with few and was reclusive when compared to the other goddess of the isle Rak’keli.

Listen to the island
The waves and wind
That is the pulse
Note it, feel it
And become one with serenity

Taithrosa lifted the banners and continued to hange them as they continued through the day. He was ammused that he was strangle getting a type of a work out. He looked at the banner before him and observed the art that was on the image.

Taithrosa having come from the heavens he was interested in the gods. His personal interest was in Leth, but he wondered if he would meet this goddess it would be interesting to see what a seeress would have to say.

Taithrosa lifted the banner up and hung it so that he would be able to walk under it. For the konti woman it was easy enough be he wasn't particularly a fan of hit his head. He looked at the rest of the pile wondering how many more he would have for the day.
