The Opal Temple, one thing was indeed for sure it was hard to miss. The large white building with two towers, one to the north and one to the south…and the southern one rumored to be the residence or Rak’keli herself when she was on the isle. There was a large iron fence surrounding what could only be a huge courtyard that hugged the temple and towers themselves. Plants of all kinds were in these gardens, it was a thing to see surely. These gardens were also well tended. Trimmed back and precise; the signs of a careful gardening hand indeed.
The iron gates however were wide open; what was the use of the gates if they were always open? An interesting idea to ponder on but the truth was the Opal Temple was always open. Always. There was always healing to be done and people to aid. The Opal Order knew this and knew it well. The main building itself was impressive but what was even more impressive was what he did not see. Below his feet were sprawling underground areas. Workshops, philtering labs, all kinds of places that many didn’t get the opportunity to see. But in time maybe he would.
“Hello, welcome to the opal temple. How may I be of assistance?” The woman had a bright smile on her face and was ready to help. But something about her seemed odd…the glassed look in her eyes…was she blind?
