Okay ... I had to look up Social Penetration Theory and Computer Mediated Communication. Holy crap! There are such things!

Well, I work with computers and I'm pretty good with penetration (oops).

Yeah we actually couldn't get through the class on Social Penetration. One of the students started cracking up when the teacher started talking about "depth of penetration" and "depenetration" and other concepts that are SUPPOSED to relate only to how deep you are getting to know each other, or when you 'pull back' from conversation because you become uncomfortable.

But you can imagine what was going through all our minds.

The teacher ended up laughing so much just from the look on the one guy's face that class had to pause a few minutes until she caught her breath.

Here I am, trying to make a respectable scrapbook that creates and encourages insightful discussions about the myriad qualities of life and it's all penetration and boobies. Let's just call page six a dud, I think.

I don't know, this whole thing has thrown me right off kilter. I think we should just condemn page six and I'll speak on something high brow and intellectual on page seven. Any thoughts?

I still need to talk on the second love of my life besides stories...maybe I'll do that.

Well, it just goes to show how things can be. You can start a topic about video games and end up moving into the philosophy of art. Or you can start talking about communication theories and descend into discussions about boobies.

Such is the random nature of conversation.
