Barely had they returned to the room when they were being snapped at. Tamilin went still, fighting down a surge of indignant irritation as she gazed steadily at... Uruk, she thought. But then the mastiff rose and nosed the man, and she thought she saw some sort of change occurr, though she wasn't sure. Subtly she sniffed, wondering just how sensitive his nose was that he blew up over diluted alcohol.
But what he said next was clearly more like Rath, and she nodded in brief understanding before gathering up the bowls again and setting them on the side table before going and rinsing off her arms more thoroughly. When she returned, she mixed up bowls for herself and Tiva, setting them slightly to one side so she'd remember which they were later. Then she walked back over to the treatment table, and she voice was even when she spoke. Even a bit subdued. "I apologize for my ignorance. I've never had to tend to animals that were ill, and I really do appreciate your sharing your knowledge with me." She hesitated before venturing a question. "Would this treatment also serve for Savash? He was nosing her when she first came up to me, and I'm concerned he might have been sufficiently exposed..."
Her voice trailed off as she watched him attend to the hound, speaking with a kindness that she recognized. He cared for his charges. When his gaze lifted to her again and asked a question, Tamilin hesitated and shook her head. But then Serrif volunteered the information, and she listened to him as well. Rather vague sort of information. She could think of have a dozen different sorts of plants growing between here and Syliras that fit the description. It was safer though to watch the hound than say anything, and it reassured her to see how much stronger and steadier the hound seemed. "Well aren't you looking better," Tam murmured with a smile.
