A feminine hand pushed open the door of the shop, and a look of determination grew on the young woman's face, even if the shy blushing was still there. Faelyn knew that if she planned to stay in her hold much longer, she'd have to get a job. And that's just what she was here to do. A moment was given to look around the shop; it was perfect; instruments lining the walls, and all sorts of cool things. She wondered just what they had to offer.

A moment was given to search for some sort of employee of the shop. She gulped, and then opened her mouth, her voice soft and gentle as she called out. "H-hello? I'd... I'd like to apply for a job..."

Parrsni Snowsong was on his way back to the workshop after a quick break for a bite to eat. Half a pasty filled with carrots, onions, and elk meat was nestled in his hand still when he approached the doors and saw the Vantha woman gazing around the shop. Parrsni walked quietly until he was just behind her. A mischievous grin was plastered across his face and yellow flecks began to dot his brown eyes.

“May I help you?” he barked quickly as he stood just inches from Faelyn. Those who had known Parrsni for a long time were used to his jokes and tricks but he never felt it necessary to ease in newcomers. Best to hit the ground running in his opinion.

"Eep!" She nearly fainted she was so surprised, jumping at least an inch up in the air. Her hands clasped over her heart as she turned, her face drained of color for a moment, before she forced herself more bravery. She lowered her hands to her side, and nodded resolutely. She'd get this job, she had to.

"I'm here... looking for a job, sir." She said. Her voice was forced and strong, but the look of timid shyness and the rosy color on her cheeks betrayed her brave tone and words. "I thought something with music would be the best place for me to apply." She looked around at the instruments once more.

Parrsni laughed heartily for a few moments until he realized how much he had scared the poor girl. Often he forgot that newcomers to the workshop weren’t used to his pranks and jokes. He cleared his throat and forced a more serious look onto his face.

“Sorry to have frightened you, I just couldn’t resist sneaking up. Err, we hire people to carve the insruments for five gold mizas a day. Good pay but its hard and detailed work. Though of course we just start you out on easy things, carving big blocks to smaller shapes and such. The fun part is getting to test out the instruments once we’ve finished them. If I haven’t scared you too much, are you interested?” Parrsni said with an apologetic smile.

She smiled softly. She was never one to stay angry at anyone. She was just plain too gentle-hearted and kind to. She nodded. "Y-yes, sir, I'd love the job." She had a look of hope in her eyes, her hear finally calming. It certainly had taken a lot of her to not run away right away when he popped out behind her. The truth was, if she got used to him as a person, his pranks would come to be appreciated.

She clasped her hands together in front of her a little more. "I'm a fast learner, and my father taught me a thing or two about carving when I was little. I don't remember much, but I'm sure I can pick it back up again!" She promised eagerly.

Parrsni nodded and reached to grasp Faelyn’s hand. He shook it vigorously and gave her his best smile. He liked to have new people around the shop. It kept things interesting and allowed for a fresh set of eyes to look at the instruments. Plus it meant unknowing victims to fall for his practical jokes. It was a good agreement for everyone involved.

“No matter, we will show you what is what. Welcome to the shop Faelyn. Try not to saw your arm off.” Parrsni chuckled lightly though it was difficult to tell if that was really a joke or just good advice.
