I really want to get a great deal of the Gnosis' done. They've waited too long and I have a powerful itch to develop. I know Audius is almost complete. Mele just needs to be posted. And I have a massive kelvic rewrite that is half on my netbook and half on my laptop that I need to piece together hopefully this weekend and get up. But beyond that I really want to get busy on some more magic.
In addition, I want to set up some past life guidelines because people keep asking me about various ways they can find out about their past lives and either visit them or reconnect with who they were since Mizahar is reincarnation heavy. I know thus far my PC has visited two of her past lives and they were amazing writing experiences for both myself and the people involved. I know others want to reconnect the same way, so I have some great ideas I'll present to the staff and get posted up in a similar manner to the Flashback guidelines. I think it will open a new dimension of RP for folks to enjoy and give them new character insights.
In terms of skills, I think I can get jewelcrafting posted - its done - and now that I've researched the heck out of Beekeeping for my PC, I'll have no problem producing that writeup as well. I also have a ton of notes on herbalism, so that's not a stretch either. And I can probably do a gardening writeup by just sitting down and doing it.
But gnosis first... and then these gems. I want to make sure the lore keeps growing and expanding, just not being added to by a line here and a line there. We had such great momentum to start out with. I know I can recapture that spirit and get some things created! Now, for my own personal notes..
Lost Disciplines
Static - Being able to interrupt gnosis abilities. This was something that has been introduced into the game via Denval. There is a partial writeup in the HD on it, but it doesn't cover everything I wanted to cover with it. And because it was something I suggested to the Mod staff of Denval to help clean up quest ideas in that domain, I'm perfectly fine conscious wise of taking it over. I even suggested the original name, so I might as well be the one to finish the writeup.
Pathwarden - This is one I've talked about before. But I want to create a magic that allows the user the ability to 'track' things magically. If you have a part of someone, say a lock of hair or a clipping of a fingernail, then you can cast this magic a luminous trail will lead in their direction. You can't tell anything about the object or person being tracked only be able to locate it via this magic. If your tracking a book, you'd need a page from it. If you are tracking a person or living thing you need biological material. Shielding could interrupt this discipline's ability to be used.
Manifestation - This discipline allows you to manifest a copy of yourself for brief periods of time, such as during battle or to do multiple things at once. This is a construct of your own djed, but if damaged the damage would manifest in the original version ie the manifestor at half strength/degree. If your doppelganger is killed you are killed. I suspect it would half your skill set but say allow you to run for help and stay and fight at the same time. I think at upper levels this would allow you to manifest your past life selves as well, so if you could hold whole conversations with yourself both past and present. How mind blowing would it be to be able to divide yourself in two and hold an intelligent conversation with yourself? Or ask more in depth questions about what you were thinking when you were thinking it etc. Any info gained from Past Life conversations that is not readily available in Mizahar currently (such as knowledge of a lost discipline or dead god) would need help desk ticket permission before the info was passed on in thread.
Switching Gears....
I'd like to eventually modify the ruling that restricts Mortals from RPing Gods. I think honestly that those who have earned three gnosis marks from a god or goddess or higher should be able to RP interactions of those Gods on their terms. This has been bothering me for a while since mods don't grow on trees and aren't around often. This wouldn't be say meaning that a mortal could control a Gods actions in a huge way, but rather that they could hold conversations with them and receive tasks from them. Champions are supposed to be the voice - eyes - ears - the hand of their Gods. They shouldn't be tethered so tightly once we get a couple of them in game.
Okay, that's about it for now.
