Kavala laughed at his last remark. "Wallow? You'll be too busy here to wallow. Everyone works, Sama'el. Tomorrow we're going to be trimming hooves on every horse in the herd. They don't run rock here or wear them down with the soft living around Riverfall, so every hoof has to be managed. I'll expect you and every Sunsinger that's able to report for duty after breakfast while your camped here. With your Pavilion present, we might be able to cut whats usually three days worth of work down to one if I can find enough rasps and hoof knives to go around." The Konti grinned wickedly, knowing trimming feet was hard work.
"So tell your people to sleep well. Breakfast is served at first light and we'll be bringing the herds in shortly thereafter. And... we have a ton of foals and yearlings to do. You know how they can be. We'll do them first and leave the mares and stallions for later because they are easier." Kavala said, rising to her full height and looking eager to get started with the mornings activities even though it was only a little bit into the early afternoon.
"We'll do health checks too. Some of your people can learn a thing or two by just coming to help. It's always a lot of fun." She said the word fun like her meaning was loose, but regardless, there was no misrepresenting what it was. The Sunsingers could stay, and always would be welcome. But they'd be treated no different than any other family... and put to work just as if they were all one big pavilion.
"Now, if you'll excuse me I have chores to attend too. Come find me if you need anything, Sama'el." Kavala said, and then abruptly headed off, already getting the attention of a passing groom and asking him something about one of the horses in the far pasture. And with that Sanctuary's Mistress was off again, looking to get as much done before tomorrow as possible.
