Right on Time (Arken)

The candle's shuddering light looked like it might die out any second, dancing and swaying with every spoken word like flotsam caught in clashing tides. Beshira crossed her legs and her attention wandered back to Arken as he returned to her with a diary of sorts. Her eyes glossed over the words with some air of interest, fingers folding around the corners and flipping back and forth between them as if to fit together pieces of a puzzle inside of her mind. "Some hobby you have," Beshira murmured as she read. She tenderly massaged a small ache in her shoulder that had, on and off, become a bit bothersome for the last few bells or so, turning the pages with her free hand. When she'd rummaged through the entirety of its contents, she closed it and set it in her lap. "This all feels so surreal to me, just being in this whole situation. Here's something for your journal," she said, tossing the book back to him. "512 AV, 22nd of Winter. I became friends with a woman named Beshira." Arken was an anomaly in her system. She couldn't bring herself to get mad at him , couldn't imagine it or play it out in her head. There was something about him that kept her assertive behavior at bay.

Right on Time (Arken)

Arken sat up off the bed and grabbed onto his journal. Reaching over his shoulder with his right hand he popped the lid of his backpack open and put the book in. Then noticing her rubbing what appeared to be a bruised part of her back he walked a little closer to her. "You alright?"He had to admit that this situation was a bit different from what he was used to but hey it wasn't that bad how many people can honestly say they have a undead guardian angel?

"No I'm not alright. I hate you and this whole situation you've put me in." he played out what would happen if she responded angrily. Fruit getting tossed and maybe a second bit of brawling going on. "Maybe we should talk after you get some rest." He took a step or two towards the door and waited to hear her thoughts before he left.
