He gave a small bow of his head in reply to her thanks. Well now. So there was a softer side under that hard exterior. Interesting he thought. A small friendly smile reappeared as he unfurled his arms. He bagan to dig through a couple things in his pack as he called out over his shoulder. "And we are not leaving that thing here to rot or have some other animal eat it." He pulled out a bunch of rope he planned to use to haul their prize in triumphantly.
"And how in Mizahar are you going to camp out here for the evening? You don't have anything accept what you were carrying with ya. You'd freeze to death." He let out a small sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose, because he knew there was a 99% chance she would take his next offer TOTALLY wrong. "Look...don't take this the wrong way. But if it came down to it. I do have a tent. It's a 4 person tent, so ya won't be sleepin in my lap or anything, but it's not overly large either. Anyway...you're welcome to use it if ya want. Just throwin' it out there."
For some reason he didn't want to look her in the eye. He wasn't scared as much as ...embarrassed, perhaps? to offer that option. Quite frankly he didn't think they would be out there over night. But with this large of an animal to bring back, it would be to slow going to make it back to the city by nightfall. He just didn't want her to think he was trying a fast one. He quickly pulled out a hatchet and moved toward a small tree to start working on a makeshift sled to drag the animal on before she could respond.
