The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Located outside of the city of Lhavit and out towards the harbor is a stone bridge that spans a simple silver stream that has cut its way into the stone mountainside leaving a fair drop into a narrow gorge below the bridge. At low tide, the stream is almost dry, broken into stepping stones of puddles that gleam with a multitude of colored stones mixed into the gravels beneath the bridge. The bridge itself is a shrine to no god whatsoever, but that does not stop Lhavitians from coming here alone or in pairs to make wishes for their future.

The Wishing Bridge is on The Trail of Waterfalls that winds around the peaks of Lhavit, encircling the city in a pathway that people often walk to get themselves out of the city and into nature in a safe and controlled way.

While not exactly affiliated with Semele or any other Goddess or Gods, The Wishing Bridge is a place where Lhavitans take big smooth cobbles and carefully ink their wishes on them in white - the traditional color of the stars. Then, once they are dry they toss the stones over the edge of the bridge making their wish as their stone falls. As a result the bottom of of the stream at low tide is littered with cobbles all spelling out the hopes and dreams of the generations of Lhavitians that have used The Wishing Bridge.

Since The Wishing Bridge is such a Lhavitian tradition, volunteers have built a small wooden table on one end of the bridge that opens up. Within one can find white ink, an assortment of brushes, and beneath a basket of river cobbles ready and waiting for any soul willing to make a wish.

Slowly meandering through Lhavit's peaks is a well-maintained walking trail for the safety of the citizens of Lhavit. Dubbed The Trail of Waterfalls, this scenic byway meanders through each of The Misty Peaks and then finally winding down to the low lands where its midpoint is at Farpoint, a noted site on the western coast of Mizahar that marks the outermost landmass of the northern Tranquil Port. From Farpoint the trail continues onward, meandering back to the other side of the gates of Lhavit.

The Trail of Waterfalls is famous for its ease of walking, most of its pathway set up on raised wooden planks. Benches are set up next to gazing pools and some of the more popular attractions along the trail. At the end of the trail, just before people turn around, there is a picnic spot out at Farpoint where a nice beach stretches off northward while the bay is sheltered southward.

The raised pathway crosses ponds, creeks, and weaves in and out of forest and across rocky embankments. The views of the sky in places are incredible while the shelter of the forest is comforting in other places. There are many individual locations along the Trail of Waterfalls, most of which are just off the raised path. They all have their own unique qualities be they meadows, gazing ponds, or even the small waterfalls the trail is noted for. In total The Trail of Waterfalls is approximately five miles long if walked in its entirety. It's trail head is just to the west side of the gates of Lhavit or to the east of the gates of Lhavit depending on which way - clockwise or counterclockwise - those strolling the pathway will decide to go.

On Lhavit's infamous Trail of Waterfalls, the most prominent feature is perhaps Rainbow Falls. This location, about a mile walk from Lhavit's main gates, is accessible only on foot or by Okomo and is considered one of the city's most premier fishing spots. The waterfall itself is a large drainage coming down off The Sartu Peak, direct drainage from a glacier that is semi-permanent towards the top framed behind the dual spired Twilight Tower. A small lake, at the base of the tower, is rich with fish - namely Sartu Rainbow Trout - which gives the falls its name. After living five years in the stream and lake, the trout swim to the sea becoming steelhead, migrating up and down the falls to fatten up in the salt water of the Western Suvan. Once they've grown large enough -after another two years out in the ocean - they make the trip back in, migrate up the Sartu Drainage, and spawn along the stream where they die. The Sartu Rainbow Trout are a popular sport fish among the Lhavitians. And Rainbow Falls is once of the best places to either watch the steelhead migration up and down the falls or to catch a trout or two in some of its more sedate pools.

The falls itself is an easy climb for fish, being made up of three main parts with resting pools between the sections. Water vapor is always filling the air from he gentle roar of the tumbling water so when light hits the falls a rainbow of color can often be seen. It is a spectacular sight, and oddly enough the location of a great many marriage proposals.

Surrounding the viewing area off the Trail of Waterfalls is a park-like setting made up of several picnic tables - all hand carried in broken down in parts - as well as several benches and fish cleaning stations. The fish cleaning stations are simply just posts sunk into the ground with nails driven in them where fisherman can hang trout or steelhead, gut them, and neatly wash away the offal by a handy bucket provided at each post which can then be dipped into the water and used to wash down the fish. Visitors are expected to pack any picnic leavings back out with them when they come to view the falls. There are no containers for trash though there are often one or two firepits that have been used to dispose of picnic remains or to keep warm as fisherman come out early enough to get a good catch.

[Lhavit] Remarkable Things

My submission with permission - My family's Tower:

Image

Image

Perched on the Sartu Peak in a very prominent location on the shores of a small stone lake is the famous dual spired tower of The Twilight House. Often partially shrouded in mist from the heated lake, The Twilight Tower often gives off an aire of mystery without truly meaning too. Being one of the three founding familys of Lhavit, the Twilight House was said to be responsible for locating Lhavits relative safe perch via their substantial morphing skills. Since the city has thrived and swelled in its population, the Twilight Tower has opened it's doors to the public, with a large section of the estate sectioned off just for visitors. Though one whole tower is reserved only for the family use - the west tower overlooking the sea - the east tower has been completely opened up for student use with the top being reserved for a pair of Eth which head the educational facility. The tower itself is made up of the same material as everything else surrounding Lhavit, but do to it's location on Sartu peak in the north, the color of the outer walls become a lovely shade of navy blue blended with orange and gold.

Behind the two great spires lies a series of skyglass halls all roofed in translucent materials. These halls are the practice areas of the mages of The Twilight Towers. They also compose lecture halls and laboratories dedicated to a number of necessary functions within the tower. Pillars are prominent throughout the structure, as are friezes depicting Leth and Syna together. The front double doors used as the entrance to the tower are grand and made of dark wood, with a door knob in the shape of a crescent. Upon entering, a long hallway is the first thing a visitor would encounter. Further in, a second hallway tapers off into the residence of the Twilight family, and is notable by the vibrant translucent citrine stone which has been inlaid on the walls. The blue hallways leads into the receptionist area, where Frost's desk lies. Frost, the receptionist and security of the Tower, will be glad to answer questions or enroll someone in whatever lessons they require. A stair is located on the far right, leading into various rooms that house a set of materials for the proper instruction in the magics the tower offers.

The residence of the Twilight family is forbidden for visitors to enter and it's doors are usually remained locked at all times. Only on special circumstances will an individual be allowed entrance and to do so they must get through Frost's vigilance. The grounds are well landscaped around the tower, and a walking path encourages visitors to visit the lake that shares the same name as the peak its perched upon. The lake offers the morphers of the Twilight Tower a steady (and warm since it is geothermally heated) place to practice their more aquatic morphing.

Frost
Image
Name: Frost
Race: Kelvic (White Lion)
DoB: 509 AV (4 yo)
PoB: Lhavit
Title: Receptionist/Security
Skills: Unarmed Combat 75, Communication 55, Organization 42, Socialization 40, Hunting 31, Singing 8.
Gnosis: Cheva 1st Mark

Frost is The Twilight Tower's first line of defense and the facility's receptionist. Enjoying the double duty, Frost likes talking to people, meeting new students and generally greeting all those who inquire about classes. It is her job to link instructors to new students, make introductions, and show new people around. She also carefully guards the entrance to the Twilight family's twin spire of the Twilight Tower.

And while she is gifted at combat, Frost is not so gifted at singing. Often as she patrols the halls, especially at night, one can hear her off key singing. No one has ever been unkind enough to mention she might need lessons because everyone can tell the big cat loves to sing.

Frost is the bondmate of Altelo Twilight, the patriarch defunct of The Twilight House and head Morphing Instructor in Lhavit.

Altelo Twilight
Image
Name: Altelo Twilight
Race: Human
DoB: 475 AV (aged 37)
PoB: Lhavit
Title: Head of the Twilight Family, Lead Morphing Instructor
Skills: Morphing 84, Cutlass 75, Leadership 62, Shielding 54
Gnosis: None

Altelo Twilight is the second son born of the Twilight House's current adult generation. His deceased older brother Weisur Twilight often overshadowed him in many ways. Having a mild more feral manner, Altelo tended to stand quietly in the shadows while Weisur ran the family businesses and oversaw The Twilight Tower's presence in Lhavit. However, that did not mean Altelo didn't soak up what his family knowledge both in terms of his ability to lead but also in his knowledge of the Twilight's interests in Lhavit. Altelo has had one of the finest educations his family could provide him. And in his own quiet way Altelo's been picking up Weisur's pieces, soothing the ruffled feathers his brother always created, and been a quiet strength behind the scenes and out of the domineering spotlight of Weisur's presence. When his brother was executed, Altelo was there to step up along with his younger brother Nosumo Twilight who is quite gifted with numbers. Their sister, Kanami Twilight, takes after their mother and spends a great deal of her time focused on farming and business.

Altelo is married to Aleine Twilight. She did not come from a prominent Lhavitian family but was instead a stranger to the city of Lhavit when she met Altelo. Weisur disapproved of the match - as he did any marriage outside of one of the three Houses - and when Aleine was heavy with Altelo's first child she mysteriously vanished from Lhavit. Altelo searches for her but with each passing year the chances of finding her alive or his child grow slimmer and slimmer.

Altelo is soft spoken and is said to enjoy poetry and sword work in equal measures. His curiosity and intelligence has lead him to become an Master in morphing and thus lead the magical teachings in the Twilight Tower. Altelo doesn't believe in taking power or respect, he feels it should be earned and sets about every day to make sure he is worthy of his position as Head of the Twilight House. Altelo is said to be compassionate and in a way encouraging towards those who are willing to work to better themselves in Lhavitian society. He's also been known to pay the tuition of a promising young person in they show talent in a magical field the Twilight's specialize in. And while he rarely argues or raises his voice, Altelo is a prominent member on Lhavit's council.

Altelo has a broody facial expression that seems to naturally fall on his rather youthful features. Considering himself having a weak chin and thin lips, Altelo is no one's ideal of handsome. However, he has his own charm with a slow smile and a soft gentle voice that guides both his family and his students on a new pathway, one that has done nothing but improved his family since the Day of Discord. Altelo has a strongly muscled body from his constant use of his cutlass and has made something of a name for himself with his sword. Watchful, protective, Altelo keeps the Twilight Family in line with a gentle guiding hand, very different from Weisur's old unrelenting fist.

Frost has saved Altelo's sanity and he is her bondmate.

Orath And Tasa
Image

Name: Orath (Syna) and Tasa (Leth)
Race: Ethaefal - Orath is Svefra (male) and Tasa is Inartan (female)
DoB: Unknown
PoB: The Western Sea
Title: Leaders of the Twilight Tower
Skills: Orath: Leadership 84, Alchemy 72, Flux 55, Lute 32, Dagger 28
Tasa: Hypnotism 81, Projection 64, Leadership 61, Painting 59, Singing 55, Dancing 34, Short Bow 25
Gnosis: Orath: Syna 2, Tasa: Leth 2

Orath and Tasa are not a common Ethaefal pair. Having practically fallen together and crawled out of the sea with the help of Western Svefra, the two have never been apart despite the obvious Ethaefal tendency to be loners. The rumors around the tower suggest that Leth and Syna both kicked them out of their realms respectively because they missed each others company to such an extent they were an emotional drag on their divine homes despite their obvious love of their deities. Seeing them back to Mizahar practically immortal guaranteed that the pair would never be apart.

Orath has a steady and practical personality. He can be reasonable and sensible under even the most trying of circumstances. His mate, a typical Inartian by day, has the matching fiery temperament and volatile personality to match. It is a well known fact that Tasa executed Weisur Twilight herself while Orath looked on not interfering. And with that single move, the Leth Eth secured the love of almost everyone living within the tower once they realized Weisur's absolute corrupt rule was over.

Orath and Tasa have an office on the top floor of the teaching spire and can be accessed day and night if they are in residence. They are often seen at Lhavitian festivals and can be counted on to show up at any official event. Tasa has been known to send gifts to births and Orath has been known to handle any and all disputes within the Twilight Towers academia in a very fair and forthright manner.

Classes
Image
The Twilight Tower teaches the practice, theory, history, benefits, and drawbacks of Alchemy, Flux, Hypnotism, Morphing, and Projection.

Classes are based on level per discipline:

L1: 25 Kina
L2: 50 Kina
L3: 75 Kina
L4: 100 Kina

For example, a student with no Alchemy experience would pay 25 Kina a season for the right to be mentored by an Alchemy Instructor and sit in on their lectures and group student gatherings. If that same student wanted to learn Flux at the same time, and they had no experience either, their cost would be 25 Kina + 25 Kina or 50 Kina a session. All payment is due BEFORE classes start.

A more experienced student, say at an L3 Morpher, wanting to take more classes to hone their skills would pay 75 Kina a season. If they picked up a second discipline, say Projection where they were an L2 already, their cost would be 75 Kina + 50 Kina for a total of 125 Kina a season.

Work study to help cut the cost of classes is available. This must be arranged via a Storyteller and requires two work study threads of significant length per season.

The Twilight Tower offers no real 'course' where students gather in classrooms. Instead, you are granted the time of an instructor who will give you reading material, assign you tasks, and see to it that you progress magically up through a discipline. Most instructors gather students several times a day in groups to practice in some of the vast Twilight Halls. They also hold lectures daily that students of all levels often attend. However, each student progresses and is judged worthy to move on based on their own merit and gift levels. Not all students can learn all disciplines.

In any given season, there might be any sorts of instructors working in The Twilight Tower. Each brings their own experiences and tastes to the table for students. So a student taking a class in fall of 512 might get a whole different flavor of instruction than a student taking a class in 511 had.

Currently the Twilight Tower has no student housing. They will, however, assist students in finding a place to live if necessary.

Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey
Image
An elusive breed of monkey that resides in the trees of Misty Peaks. They are herbivores and eat mostly leaves and nuts. Despite the vibrant colours of their fur and skin they are very reclusive and are rarely seen. If someone does happen to see one it is considered by the locals to be a sign of good luck.

Changeling Mantis
Image
The Changling Manits is a carnivorous insect that has a unique ability to change its form to suit its surroundings. This ability takes about an hour to take affect, after such time it takes on aspects of what ever is around it at the time but still resembles a mantis. This ability allows it to be a better hunter and to avoid being hunted it's self. Many believe that eating it will allow you to heal faster but very few are brave enough to test this theory.

Skyglass Caterpillar
Image
This insect is named Skyglass Caterpillar because of it's remarkable translucent body that seems to look like its made of glass or some kind of gelatinous substance. It's beautiful skin hides that fact that it is actually poisonous, if touched the subject will break into extremely itchy hives, if something is foolish enough to eat the Skyglass Caterpillar it can prove to be fatal. The Skyglass caterpillar spends most of its time eating as much as it can before it starts its metamorphosis process

Skyglass Moth
Image
The Adult form of the Skyglass Caterpillar is a gold coloured moth with wings that seem to sparkle. Unlike their juvenile forms they are completely harmless and their diet consists of mostly nectar.

[Lhavit] Remarkable Things

Postby Albireo on March 12th, 2013, 12:56 pm

These are NPCs I've used in a job thread at Bharani library. If possible, I'd like to peermod Polaris myself - I quite like him.

ImagePolaris is an Ethaefal of Syna named after the North Star, the brightest in the sky. He nourishes the “light of knowledge” (his own words) and contributes through his Gnosis of Inavalti. Although he loves Syna like nothing else, he also respects Eyris. Nobody knows how old he is or how long he has been working at Bharani. He wears a Seeker’s white robes at all times. In daylight his tall appearance changes with the seasons, his eyes are citrine and he wears his hair long and braided. During the night he shrinks back into the mortal form of a human named Ideschil. He remembers studying, teaching and searching for knowledge lost during the Valterrian at the University of Zeltiva. As a human, he is still tall and has the lithe, almost malnourished build of a scholar with dirty blonde locks, hazel eyes specked with gold and the pale skin tone of one who rarely sees the sun. He is tireless and meticulous in his work which has earned him the position of head scribe, and occasionally gives advice to apprentices. Some believe he is searching for something in all those tomes and the places he sees in the sunlight, but those who ask only receive riddles for an answer.

Skills: Writing 90, Calligraphy 52, Organization 48, Leadership 35
Gnosis: Inavalti (1 mark)

ImageDalaya works as clerk and scribe apprentice. She is petite and slender, has sharp grey eyes and hair the color of wheat. As a native Lhavitian human, she has chosen the trade of scribe and joined Bharani. Although she learns slowly and makes many mistakes, she tries to do her best with every piece assigned to her. She tends to complain about customers in a high-pitched voice, yet she is perfectly polite and friendly when approached by them. Her strength lies in adjusting to different situations and individual needs of the customers, although she also gets distracted easily. The only people she has difficulty dealing with are Ethaefal. Because she has watched them being treated with awe and respect for her entire life, she has grown jealous of their ethereal beauty and otherworldly grace. They annoy her and she doesn’t care to hide it. All in all she is a mediocre worker, but has been a significant part of the library for several years and still finds joy in it.

[Lhavit] Remarkable Things

Postby Albireo on March 14th, 2013, 7:30 pm

I wrote up a residence for my PC:

Posted! :
Image

Image

What the owner calls “the lone windowsill” or sometimes just “the windowsill” is a tiny one-room apartment on the second floor of a house overlooking Surya Plaza on Zintia Peak. Next to the front door stands the stone statue of an eagle with wings halfway outstretched, a common sight around the City of Stars. The proud animal image is supposed to protect the residents from harm and malevolent spirits. The entire front of the house is carved and painted with star and night sky patterns that shimmer in vivid colors at both day and night. The roof is dome-shaped and made of skyglass.

After ascending a narrow staircase, one opens a simple door leading into the apartment itself. It consists of a living room and a tiny kitchen. Soft red mats cover the floor and keep it warm in cold seasons. In the living room, the furniture is simple and entirely made of wood: a bunk, desk and chair and two chests resting towards the back wall, one for clothes, one for books, papers and writing supplies. Everything is neat and clean, although not overly so. There might be specks of dust in the corners and the bed sheets might be tangled, yet all these are little signs that the apartment is being lived in by a tangible person.

The apartment only has a single window that overlooks Surya Plaza and is responsible for its nickname. It is usually decorated by a vase with some flower matching the current season. In Spring it’s pink Bulboru, in Summer little blue Jasao, in Fall a tuft of Bromegrass and in Winter two or three naked branches from the Kariino Tree.

This is Albireo's PC residence from Spring 512 AV onward.)

[Lhavit] Remarkable Things

Postby Albireo on March 30th, 2013, 11:28 pm

And here's my entry for the festival contest! I hope I came up with a nice and fun idea - the circus can even be played out ic if people want. Also, the layout is somewhat tentative. If someone wants to adjust background and header to Lhavit standards, I'd be okay with that.

Secret :

The White Night Carnival takes place on the 10th of Spring all around Lhavit. Originally it was a celebration of growth and fertility called ‘white night’ for the melting of snow and as a way of bidding it goodbye. Over time it has turned into an epic party though, the biggest Lhavit has to offer. It is a collaboration of all residents and a symbol for community as everyone contributes to its success in one way or other.

ImageThe official opening takes place at dusk in front of Shinyama Pavilion. The Shinya will display their strength and discipline in a parade and slowly march towards Surya Plaza where the central attraction awaits: The White Night Circus offers orchestra music and acrobatic performances from the open air stage. Together with the dance floor, it fills the majority of Surya Plaza. The circus is a carnival specialty, only performing that one night before retreating for the rest of the year. It consists of Lhavitians from all walks of life who come together, plot and practice for it in their free time. Apart from acrobatics, it also offers traditional dancing by Taian and Chandra honoring Syna and Leth as well as a collaborative fire and water spectacle by students of the three Towers.

ImageWithin Lhavit, every corner and perch is adorned with decorations arranged in a way that brings out the beauty of its architecture, specifically lanterns complimenting its colors and scarves of fabric hanging from roofs and windowsills, swaying in the wind. While the circus claims Surya Plaza, various other activities take place at different times and locations throughout the city. The Tranquil Port is frequented for its fish catching game: One has to catch tiny goldfish out of artificial ponds with wooden spoons and gets to keep the caught fish as pets. A large booth at Tenten Peak offers a ball throwing game and hands out toys, dolls and stuffed animals to those hitting the most cans. Elana’s Cats has the finest mountain cats on exhibition and the Perch sets up a flight show with nocturnal birds of prey carrying shards of glowing skyglass. Maeki Cho holds a puppet show for children at her Animation Studio. The Basilika is open for poetry and short story readings by everyone who dares to step up and raise their voice. At Azure Market, booths with delicious food and sweets are lined up and, by extension, all restaurants and bars are closed save for Star’s Shadow.

Towards the end of the night, people flock to Sharai Peak. An Okomo parade marks the magnificent and official end of festivities. Stage and booths are removed. However, it is tradition in the spirit of the carnival that both residents and visitors work together to clean up the locale. This way work is finished twice as fast and a good day’s rest comes earlier to everyone.

[Lhavit] Remarkable Things

Postby Liriah on June 21st, 2013, 3:28 pm

Since my character started with a cottage and only obtained her apartment after moving to Lhavit, I read that I had to post it here.

The Aria Woods
Secret :
Image

In recent years, whispers of a forest filled with music have traveled around the tables of Lhavit's famous Inns and Taverns, loose tongued mountain explorers and those who lost their way in the Misty Peaks recalling the event in drunken stupor. The tales tell of how the unsuspecting traveler or lost explorer stumbled upon the peaceful woods, signalling the end of what seemed like an endless trek through the wilderness. At first, no audible music can be heard, the namesake of the woods not present to signal one's arrival in the woods. Instead, the canopy abruptly thins out and the entire woods are lit in Leth's silvery light, a sign within itself that they have arrived in a mysterious place. At this point, tales begin to differ; one traveler talked of how he followed the music and found a hut, another told of how he could feel wild eyes watching and ran away, and the others tell of how they followed their steps back to the woods on another occasion, only to find themselves creating new tracks in the litter from Falls past, giving rise to the rumor that the place was haunted by a guardian spirit.

What few know is that the Aria Woods littered floor and tapestry of roots hide a secret djed pool. If an Aurist was to ever arrive in the woods, they would discover that the djed of the place pulsates, the aura of the entire forest rolling away from the djed pool in gentle waves. This heartbeat-like pulsing of aura gives rise to the possibility that the enitre area is a Qamur. However, Qamur do not form in places of change, and djed pools are perfect catalysts for change, so how could the two exist in a single place? The answer lies in the Qamur's perception of change.

Those who have gone to the Misty Peaks by themselves in search of the woods have been known to never return, probably eaten by some wild beast. But those who do return and are to be trusted are usually covered in injuries, the wounds dressed with an unusual green paste and course fabric. They describe how they are saved by an Ethaefal living in a cottage, promising to those who would stop to listen to them that it wasn't their wives who treated them.

Located in a stretch of woods inaccessible by most lies a cottage, its walls hewn from rough stone and an entire side claimed by plants. With it's left wall covered in vines, birds and lizards nesting in the tangled foliage, only the right and front walls are free, windows clearly seen at night.

If one was to ever find themselves inside the mysterious Aria Woods, they will usually hear music or see the glowing trail of skyglass shards. Those who follow the music or path eventually come across a solid barrier of trees, a narrow but gradual flight of stairs breaking the wall enabling access to the heart of the woods. On either side of the stairs, blooming jasmine is lashed and weaved across the trees, creating a living tapestry, the arms of the trees forming an arch 3 meters high, creating a natural tunnel. As the tunnel nears its end, the trees and jasmine are replaced by colorful fadeong and kariino trees, their trailing branches and light foliage veiling the exit.

Parting the curtain, the explorer will find themselves in a small glade filled with taikapi and keokina blossoms. In the center is the cottage, white smoke trailing from its chimney, light seeping from its cracked wooden shutters.
On closer inspection of the cottage, its roof is formed from thatch and the wooden front door appears flimsy and ancient. Circling the cottage, the right wall has a single window that faces the city of Lhavit. Further around, a mosaic pathway of river stones and skyglass divides the neat little garden of herbs and fruits, starting at the flimsy backdoor and circling around the entire garden and back again.

Knocking on either door, the explorer will find themselves greeted by a young lady with a mane of fire during Syna's glory, and an ethaefal with dusk colored hair during the night. Inviting them into the single room; a small desk cluttered with books and a chair at the window facing Lhavit, a couch splayed across the vine ridden wall, a small single bed covered in white sheets, a white pillow and an embroidered blue quilt lay on the side of the desk, a wooden shelf filled with books taking the desks remaining side, and an old wooden chest lies at the foot of the bed. To the right of the back door lies the fireplace, a pot usually boiling in its fire, a ring of stones keeping the fire in check.
In the darkness, Light grows stronger. Will you allow it to grow or will you succumb to despair?
