69th Of Winter

In the mirr of the day to day clamouring the Dhani was looking at various things from various vendors. She wanted to take in the sights of the city and found herself wandering around the merchants ring.

Vendors here and there and prominent stores.

She was half assing a search for malediction books or books on it, she hadnt really attempted to look for anything to that nature around here. But she was sure information on its practice was around. It was just a matter of finding it.

Tall and lanky the towering womans true potential was well hidden, she had the strength of close to three men and she didnt look like an amazonian she hulk. They definetly judged her when they looked at her, of course from there standpoint if any had experience in the dense jungles they would think she was a myrian.

Short brown hair that seemed to get carried adrift in the rolling breezes of the winter season. She had tan skin, and chocolate brown eyes. She just seemed so out of place in a city such as this, it was hard to really put your finger on it unless you knew exactly what she was.

Her business was simply rummaging through stalls and vendors.

The idea of becoming even more stronger had an appeal she couldnt rightly shake away.

Garonn was drunk again. He had been drinking wine all morning. He loved the dark bitter wines. The strong smelly ones got him just drunk enough to have fun in these sullen times.

Today he walked through Ravok's bazaar. He wanted to see what all the greedy merchants where selling. He hated them, because none of them told the real truth. They all had forked tongues like vile snakes who wanted to kill you for a profit. They had no principles. No honor...

Garonn walked with no mask or helm. He showed his curse to everyone, he had no shame. Murdock's burn had only been half healed, so he looked hideous to the eye. This did not stop him though. This only focused his ambition. His eyes always shone bright hot gold, but now they were pale and cold. Anger always reflected in his vision.

Hand resting on the pommel of his sword, the Knight stopped drunkenly at a fruit stand. The Merchant talked curtly to him, but only because two Ebonstryfe guards shadowed him in every crowded area.

Scanning the area he watched as humans walked by. They where all healthy and strong, '...Blessed by Rhysol's lies...', but they where ignorant to the truth. All they talked about was nonsense to him, "... Always lieing. Always cheating..." He detested them.

Despite this a woman caught his eyes. She was no ordinary Ravokian, "...Ravokians remind me of pigletts stuffed in noble clothing, she is no squealing piglet..." He eyed her up and down. She was lean and tall, almost as tall as the Akalak. She seemed thin to the average ignorant Ravokian, but Garonn saw the truth. He muscles were strong and athletic. Her tan skin cloaked the ripples in her abdomen. It looked thick as a ball of leather. The Akalak smiled as the ignorant Ravokian sniggered and whispered at her appearance, "...she's a thoroughbred..." Garonn thought crudely as he glanced at her shopping, "... a warrior perhaps..." Her body was toned and shaped was meant for both childbearing and fighting. The Akalak was very attracted to her at this moment, "... dumb Ravokians..."

Grabbing an apple from the stall he took a big bite, trying to make the loudest crunch once the woman was near. The merchant asked for his coin, but Garonn only laughed and pointed at Floh with a mouthful, "She is paying for me!"

The merchant looked at the guards. The Ebonstryfe lackeys looked at the new recruit Floh and nodded at her to pay the merchant. The blue Knight looked at her with strange golden eyes, empty and not quite on the verge of insanity.

She was left speechless only one word came to mind at the noise; CRINGE

Its crispity crunch, obviously some sort of attempt to annoy her which had succeded in ways which had surpassed expectation.

Chocolate brown eyes seemed to stare almost fixate as this shyke eating grin swept across her face, it was a mix of what the hell just happened and do I know you with a splash of damn blue boy got a pair on him. It was genuinely friendly but there was something malicious and sinister lurking just beneath it, it was uneasy like she was gonna laugh and throat check his wind pipe at the same time. Hard to read, but it was one hundred percent deliberate.

She swore her mind to the dark lord, if only to better serve Krysus. It was true she to found herself detesting them. But wherever chaos was or went, pain and suffering did follow.
Fictitiously she left reality and just dreamed of clamping her hands on that ebonstryfes temples and watching his skull buckle under the force of her open palms.
For pething weaselin valuable monies out her pockets.

As charmingly sweet the thought was, she was forced to shake it from her head and come back to reality.

But then this snake didnt run on honor, principal maybe... But leaning more towards; to kill on principal alone more likely.

Aye aye, ill pay the coin.
Seeing as how your holding hands with a couple of ravoks finest, what was it like? Did you fight the war? What happened exactly? Did you find glory?

Floh slapped the mizah on the table.

As she began asking questions her face seemed more and more intrigued, you could tell she was fascinated and was eagerly awaiting his responce.

The snake didnt mention his face yet it was aesthetic and only mattered in appearance his battle scars told a story, and presumed because he was with the soldiers he was in some way shape or form affiliated with the ebonstryfe.

Garonn watched contently as the woman smiled in frustration. Her smile was happy and friendly, but beneath the chocolate brown eyes the Knight saw malice. He did not know how to judge her completely, but as a skeptic he automatically believed her gaze as that of a liar. He still liked her attitude and endearing face, but he fit and toned body was what drove him onward.

"Ravok's finest," Garonn repeated with a hint of sarcasim as he looked at the exoticly beautiful woman eye to eye. He paused as she slapped a mizah on the table and asked him about the war. The Akalak almost openned his mouth to reply, but then she asked if he found glory. Instead he smiled silently at her because he found her question very ironic to his situation, "... She is just as dumb as the Ravokians..."

Grabbing two more apples from the stall he tossed one to each of the Ebonstyfe, "She is now buying one each for Ravok's finest!" He stared at both of the lackies hard and cold. He knew the two guards didn't want any trouble over an apple. The Knight winked at the guards and turned back to the woman laughing, a crude grin on his face. He already had planned out a response for any action she decided to take.

Garonn was drunk and he was enjoying playing a game for once.

When the guards were looking at eachother and the Akalak had to encourage them with a wink she knew they were testing the water. If the guards were hesitating and knew better but were being coerced to do it by the Akalak then clearly they were overstepping there boundaries and the serpent would not permit that.

If that was the case she was going to throw a fit.

As she stood there she began to tap into this otherworldly power, it took time but right now she had plenty of it. They were waiting for her response, boy oh boy were they going to get it. Her strength would not be underminded by authority, not by some noble slouch and his lackys.

To allow him to bully her was to mark her a coward, and coward she was not. Rhysol was watching, Kyrsus was watching, the townspeople were watching. She would make a stand and rebel against them, it was just like sunberth a couple of dingalings thinkin they were going to strut there stuff.

Aye shyk-hole Indeed I will.

Her hand, arm, and body infused with power went full throttle into the vendors table. With such force and tenacity it would blusterously explode into splinterous shrapnel as wood boards snapped to pieces under raw brute force infused by turbulent flux energy.

Two more mizah flung nonchalantly into the rubbel of her chaotic actions.

Her grin just turned into a wild smile as she surveyed the carnage, the savagery of it all pumped adrenaline through her veins. She could feel the knots in her chest release as she was relaxing and breathing nice and deep.

Looking at the two guards and the Garonn she exclaimed.

Dont worry, ravoks finest will repair the damages

It was a clear as day message, they treaded on the serpent and she struck back. As much a warning a cornered beast could give, it was not only a clear resounding message to them as to anyone else who might have any ideas about trying to capture her for slavery.

For a breif tense moment everyone remained quiet to see what Floh would do; Garonn was laughing under his breath, the two Ebonstryfe remained silent onlookers, the merchant had a look of dread on his face, and the crowd around them where indifferent.

In an violent outburst the atheltic looking woman brought her arm down on the merchant's table, shattering the wood in a burst of shrapnel. The Knight was shocked to say the least! He had expected anger from her, but not such strength and power. The Knight reconsidered everything that he was doing with her outburst.

Flinging two coins onto the rubble of the stand, she was heated and breathing heavily yet still grinning wildly. It was apparent that she was enthralled with her own actions and this was totally turning the Akalak on. As much as he wanted to pounce on her sweaty, adrenaline pumping body at that exact moment he held himself...after all they were still playing a game where they not?

Still drunk he looked at the merchant, the the Ebonstryfe, and then back at Floh. Tilting the handle of the sword at his hip, Garonn revealed a foot of his gleaming blade directly infront of his groin area. He stared devilishly at Floh until she realized what he was trying to say with the gesture, "You can't tell the Ebonstryfe to pay for you, but you Merchant, pay me a day's wage and I will cut her down where she stands. I will even throw away the corpse for you. Her purse should have more than enough to pay for your stall!" He laughed uneasily and waited for someone to do something.

Her wildly insane look just stared at Imass, his sword slowly unsheathed about a foot from its leather holster. He had a few feet more to go, she was observing that he had some distance to brandish his weapon and he was awfuly close. Did he think he had enough room to make a complete draw? Conventional straight blades had a bad habbit of needing the full length to be pulled free, unlike curved swords that could be slung out

Of course thats not the only thing that caught her eye, it was the way he was provactively gripping the handle to his little problem solver. Yea she got it, this guy was a real charmer. She could smell it on his breath, it stank of apples and cheap liquor. Was he annebriated? Was this guy going to be easy pickings?

She snarled a bit and wrinkled her nose.

When he had finished making his empty promises to the stall owner and what was left of scattered wares.

Aye that all you got love? Dontcha think its a wee bit small?

She was focusing on this energy that flowed through her body, there was a level of finesse when dealing with this artform. One part control, one part momentum and one part synchronization. It was like this bouncing ball, it the only way to describe it. The more force in the throw the higher the bounce, but if you throw it too hard the ball will bounce above and beyond your grasp. And when that happens your shyk out of luck.
She could feel this energy bounce through her, it was a matter of harnessing it and throwing it where she wanted it.

As he stood there brazenly trying to Intimidate Floh, he inadvertently gave himself away. He was full of blustrous charm and sabre rattaling, but now he laughed uneasily as if he was waiting for someone to come and rescue him like a damsel in distress.

Did he realize what she was? She was no mere sniveling manling, she was a Dhani. A man eater from the wilds of Falyndar, the savage Myrians treaded with an heir of caution in the murky marshes of the jungles afraid for there lives. The reptile kingdom played by a different set of rules, it wasnt the males that were the largest the real monsters they were in fact females.

She could feel the Flux ripen to its contained potential, it washed through her legs and she stepped with its aid and flew forward like a crossbow bolt.

Her left hand screamed towards the Akalaks hand that was gripping his sword with what almost could be described as dizzying. If she was able to get that hand, the flux flowing through her torso would spiral with enough force and momentum to aid in a hip toss which could potentially rip the Akalak off his feet and send him sailing into the debri.

A simple wrestling take down technique reinforced with her brute strength with a little extra umph provided by the flux

The debri of that stall was broken wood that was comprised of sharp and jagged protrustions of the snapped pieces that lay haphazardly , some of those longer pieces could be potential dangerous as they looked like they could run a man through. As an added bonus all those apples that lay on the ground if you were not careful might be a slipping hazard.

If she was lucky shed toss him, if not she would need to improvise the main goal was preventing him from getting his weapon out of its sheath.

After a moment of uneasiness, violence erupted. The merchant didn't even have time to give answer to the Knight's proposition. The muscular woman shot out a hand Garonn's sword arm. Instinct kicked in and the Akalak sprung backwards, distancing himself from the woman. Instantly his steel flashed and the drunk warrior was armed.

Raising his right arm up, he held the sword level with his temple and pointed straight at the woman. The Akalak's left hand was held in front of his body pointed straight at her. His stance was balanced, only slightly affected by the drunkenness.

Staring Floh in the eyes, his whole entire mood changed when he flashed his blade. Now he was beyond serious, he was pissed off. No words needed to be said, because his eyes burned with hatred. The attraction he felt before turned into hostility. Tensing his muscles he got ready for anything that Floh did. His whole mind was bent in rage on her.

In a hoarse, serious voice he asked the merchant once more for permission to slay her, "Say it and I will cut her down,"
