Okay, my work schedule has leveled out so once I get Webbing and Divination done, I will definitely finish those lingering gods... Eyris and Tyeth first and foremost.

Hi! Just a quick request - I don't actually want full articles written for these Skills, I just thought it might be a good idea to add stubs to the wiki for them. Most of them are skills that people have been awarded points in, with one or two I added in because I thought they might be useful. I mainly just want to see something up on the Skill List so people know, when making new characters, that such things are available.

• Organization: The skill of competently organizing information or objects in a way to make them easily accessible.
• Leadership: The skill of properly leading a person or group of persons. This includes giving orders that will be followed, inspiring loyalty, resolving conflict, and promoting cohesion throughout the unit.
• Negotiation: The skill of resolving a conflict through compromise between parties. This includes the fine art of haggling over prices.
• Copying: The skill of copying written works from one source to another with particular attention to legibility and retention of all information. This is a skill mainly used by scribes.
• Verse: The skill of composing artistic poetic verse, whether in written poetry or in songs.
• Training (Animal): The skill of training an animal to behave in a certain way and follow specific commands. You must choose an individual animal to train (Ex: Horse, Dog, Cat).
• Massage: The skill of applying pressure to certain body parts in order to relieve pain, soreness, tightness, or stress.
• Storytelling: The skill of sharing information, whether truth or fiction, in such a way as to both inform and entertain.
• Anatomy (Race): The skill of understanding the physical structures of the body, including all external structures, muscle placement, bones, and internal organs. This does NOT include knowledge of their functions. You must choose a Race for which this skill applies.

Um. I think that's everything I've seen people getting XP for/thought might be a good idea. Lemme know what you think!

I think there have been writeups on Leadership and Massage though I'm not sure if they've been approved yet.

And just an opinion, shouldn't Anatomy fall under Lore?

Anatomy is a lore.
Animal Husbandry also involves training animals. Horsemanship falls under this.
Leadership has a writeup in progress.
Massage has a writeup... I remember approving it.
I think Verse is under Composition. IF its not on the list, it should be and was meant to be included.

And Dusk, your perfectly capable of adding stubs... just let us know what you want to add/have added to make sure its indeed a skill or under the correct name.

Ah! Okay, I went through Shop NPCs and the XP awards handed out in Syliras in the last two months and all of these (except Verse - which was given as Poetry) were things that were given as Skill points. That's why I was adding them in this list.

And I figured I could physically add them myself, but I always look for WD approval before I mess with anything in the Wiki

So... no to Animal Training and Anatomy? For Leadership and Massage I'm jsut going to put the stubs up until the write-ups are added (and the same for Teaching now that I think about it). Yes? Good? I yearn for approval. XD

Massage already has its full writeup in the wiki. Its just not on the skill list. Feel free to edit/add it.

Also I'd skip adding Leadership because James will have it in asap I think. If you want, you can redirect Animal Training to Animal Husbandry if you'd like. Its easy to do...

Okay, so I went of on a tangent while doing this, so here's an update!

Added the above stubs, as well as Philosophy, minus Leadership, Animal Training, and Anatomy. I also added links on the Skill List to all the skills that had been added to the Wiki but not to the list (like Massage). Then I redirected dead stubs like Pick Pocketing and Stealing to Larceny.

Then I went through all the skills and fixed the dead links - such as "Sculpture" instead of "Scultping", "Cryptology" to "Cryptography", that sort of thing. The only dead links I didn't touch were Leadership, Alchemy (I know someone's working hard on that), and any Lore references like Sylir or Suvan. I also cleaned up the language/grammar/spelling on the stubs that were already up. Basically just house-cleaning, but wanted to give a head's-up.

Also, HUGE THANKS to Jen for putting up with my idiocy during chat. XD

Aside from that i would personally (as in: not related to a PC) love to see shielding finished since it looks like the last magic missing, and sounds really useful~

Awesome to see this thread, I was wondering if there might be a quick edit/add to the Pycon specific martial art and the Pycon weapons? I cannot find the Py-String/Pole/Whip in the price list and their stubs are currently blank. (If I am just being silly and completely missed it listed somewhere please verbally lash me until I am suitably chastised!)
