Jungle Wilds, 21st of Bell, 31st of Fall 513 A.V

Aka in her Viper form slithered with light steps... er, slithers, if she was in human form, a wide silly grin would be plastered on her face. Just yesterday, she met a new friend, a constrictor by the name of "Tryllissle", the Owner of True Beauty shop. The Constrictor literally dragged the Viper for a forced makeover in which Aka was resistant at first, but ended up liking it. She even got a new pretty black dress and beautiful accessories for free, Aka got the feeling that even with most of the bullying brutes in Zinrah, some of them were actually decent people.

So caught up in her thoughts, Aka momentarily forgot her true purpose of venturing out of the nest that night. She stopped and blinked a few times... what was she doing here? Then the sensation of hunger prodded her, oh yeah, hunting. she needed to eat. Aka was starved, she could eat an Okapi whole... speaking of the striped animal, the Viper hoped she would encounter one of those in her hunt. I wonder how it tastes like... She never ate an Okapi before, but from the stories she heard, they tasted delicious.

She was rather far away from Zinrah at the moment, but no matter, her trusty homing instinct always guided her home safely so far. The Viper flicked her tongue, taking in scent, she also used her heat-vision and vibration sensing to aid her. No notable heat signatures so far, Aka slithered further, slowing her movements to focus on observing.

Then she heard the shuffling of leaves from her right, Aka turned her head there and focused her senses on that particular direction. True enough, the signature of a deer-shaped animal could be seen at some distances in front of her, through her vision, she could deduce the animal seemed to be resting. Good, this would make her work easier. Aka slithered closer, taking care to not shift twigs and fallen leaves so much.

The okapi was keen, it sensed a small disturbance through its instincts, but it didn't worth its attention, no massive cat, two-legged monkeys, or those monstrous snakes approaching so it stayed, resting on the cool, humid, forest ground.

Aka flinched when she saw the okapi cautiously darted its head here and there, so that was why she seldom encountered them, they were skittish. This might be her only opportunity, if she missed it, she might not encounter another okapi again until tomorrow. Her hunger wouldn't let her delay her potential prize any further so instead of striking like the usual poisonous snake, she opted for a literal lightning strike instead. It would be sudden and she was assured the okapi would be dead before it knew what happened. Yes, her plan was foolproof.

Aka rose her body slightly, locking her sight to the Okapi's body... then she prepared her res, coating her fangs with dense concentration reddish slime. Once she was ready, the Viper opened her jaw wide and small crackles of electricity began forming from her res. Aka then willed her res to crackle further and launch a bolt of lightning from each of her fangs to the unsuspecting herbivore.

*BOOOOM!*

With a boom and intense flash of light, the twin thunder surged from her, waltzing through the air; then in an instant, it made contact with the Okapi. Electricity surged throughout its body, roasting it, destroying its heart and killing it instantly. It fell down to the ground with a thud, smoke rising from its body. Wonderful, Aka didn't have to eat it raw.

The Viper hissed in delight and slithered to the Okapi, it was too big for her to swallow so she needed to eat it in her human form instead, cutting pieces of it, enjoying the succulent roasted flesh. The Viper began transforming to her human form, her form growing larger, limbs spawning from her sides, her tail separating into two feet, scales receding into pale skin, long ebony hair spawning from her head, her face turning humanoid, and thirty seconds later, a naked young girl replaced the red snake. "Fuah! Enh enh~" The human Aka shifted to a sitting position and cracked her neck, enjoying the pleasurable sensation of transforming for a few moments.

"Ehehe~" Giggling, Aka exhumed some res form her right palm, shaping it into the rough shape of a dagger then she willed it to gather earthen materials from below her, creating a sharp stone dagger. It lacked in aesthetics as usual, but she didn't need those. Licking her lips, the Viper began to cut up the Okapi, procuring strips of roasted meat before consuming it.

What she didn't realize was that her little thunder show obviously didn't have any discretion or stealth at all... risking attention being brought upon her dinner session.

She didn't like wandering toward Zinrah, but the glade where she had met Mamuro for the second time at was in this area, and it was time for her to make good on her end of the deal with the strange constrictor she had become inexorably bound to. It was bad enough having Myrians wanting her blood, adding hungry Constrictors to the mix that would eat first and ask questions while she was digesting was just not something she wanted to deal with.

Again she asked herself why she was doing this. Again she had no answer. Nearly a season's worth of time she had to run away from him, from their deal. She was a witch of Caiyha, could hide among the animals of her Phylonura mark and be safe from him, both of the races she was spurned from, wasn't that all she wanted? Maybe it was the power he had at her disposal, pulling at her will like some invisible chain, or maybe she simply couldn't resist the allure of him, the thing she had always been taught to fear and despise, who had such a fascination with her mixed blood.

Regardless, Tinnok still had a few days to sort everything out before she returned to their meeting place, and she tried, unsuccessfully, to push the thoughts from her head and focus on not getting eaten by a Dhani or shot by a Myrian in the mean time.

To aid in this endeavor, the half breed kept to the trees, high in the trees. It wasn't the most quiet form of travel, the rustling of leaves constantly giving away her position, but she was getting better at moving up there nevertheless. Her bare feet, calloused from a lifetime without shoes were a boon, curling around tree branches and allowing her to shift her weight slowly so as not to disturb the surrounding foliage anymore than she need. She practiced lowering herself down onto branches large enough to take the sock of her weight, and crawling on all fours like a monkey, eyes watching the ground warily for any creatures with intent to harm.

It was tiring work, making all of her limbs sore with exertion, and multiple times she looked wistfully down upon the soft earth before shaking the thought out of her head. It was more work, but safer, nearly impossible to be cornered and trap with every exit option open to her, and also one of the safest places in the wilds to sleep at night, little wonder you never saw monkeys below the canopy.

Her trek carried on till mid morning, where she stopped in the lee of a great strangler fig and limbered up her arms and legs, massaging sore limbs and giving her body a rest. She watched a pair of tanagers play with each other, swooping and diving around the branches of the tree, and grabbed a few fresh figs for herself, spitting out the seeds onto the ground below.

She was contemplating a short nap based on the time she had made today when her musings were interrupted by a giant crashing boom, that sounded like some sort of explosion.

Her frame went rigid, from the sound it meant the action had been close, and her eyes caught a rustling of foliage as if in reaction to the event.

Standing upright Tinnok took a running leap off of a thick branch and launched herself towards the nearest tree, sailing not as gracefully as she would have liked into the trunk with a lame thud. She groaned but swiftly recovered, grabbing the nearest branch and hoisting herself up high enough to perform the maneuver again only to here the strange bone cracking pops of an action now somewhat familiar to her: Dhani transformations.

Tinnok glanced down from her perch to see the figure on the cusp of completing her morphing, a petite pale being with long black hair, who glanced around before beginning to cut up a fine specimen of Okapi and eating the meat raw.

Tinnok blinked, trying to get a read on the creature. She was so small for a constrictor, with Mamuro's pale skin and dark hair. Was this really how all Dhani looked when they were in human form? No...she had seen Svan, a much more tanned and evenly hued being, perhaps a constrictor thing?

Tinnok crouched down and drew her bow from her back, notching and arrow and letting it rest against the wide frame of her weapon. She might be able to kill the snake now, or simply leave and avoid confrontation, but she wished to watch just a bit longer...perhaps she could find out more about this being...

"Nyum~ *Chew chew swallow*" Aka's delightful hissing and the squishy sound of her teeth grinding against Okapi flesh, some blood was smeared on her hands and lips. Some outer layer of the meat, especially where her thunder stroke was burnt, it tasted strange... a bit bitter but still delicious nonetheless. The rest of the body was still raw, Aka liked both of them, maybe she should try more of this "lightning-roast" method of "cooking".

"...uhm...?" Feeling rather self-concious because she was naked, Aka glanced back when she thought she heard some shuffling behind her. She saw nothing though, maybe it was some stray predator aiming to steal her kill. She wouldn't allow it, this was her kill. Nothing came out, Aka gave one last look before continuing to eat.

"Enh..." After a few moments, her gut instinct just wouldn't leave her alone. It kept prodding her with the feeling that someone was indeed here. Aka grunted and stood up, her scarlet slits darting around. So whatever predator out there was stalking here, most likely one of those big cats. Cats, always the coward, she never liked them. If there was one thing that could scare them away, it was fire, and it just so happened she was very familiar with fire.

Aka exhumed her res through her left palm, creating a solid small pillar of res perching on the ground then she willed the top to ignite, creating a flaming candle made out of solid res. That should keep out those annoying cats. If they insisted, she would just have to throw the fire to them, let them feel the burn.

Little did she realize about the woman stalking her from above.

It seemed her stealthy entrance was not so stealthy after all. The Dhani began looking around, and Tinnok instinctively shrank into herself to create less of a visible target, though her subject seemed not to consider looking up. Her muscles pulled against the string of her bow, drawing it taut, he feather of her arrow brushing gently against a tanned cheek as she peered downward, watching.

A chime passed, her muscles quivering with anticipation when she saw the female extend her hands...Tinnok squinted down upon her, then saw a flam bloom into her palm: A Reimancer.

Slowly she let the bowstring relax, and slid her arrow back into its quiver. One misplaced shot and this snake could light the whole jungle on fire, something she could not allow, especially if it meant her going up with it. Tinnok ran a tongue thoughtfully across her lips, trying to decide her options. She could hide, wait it out and avoid all confrontation, this Dhani knew she was here, but didn't know where, and simple patience could save her trouble. That being said her encounters with Dhani had been quite interesting as of late, and she wasn't sure she could pass up an opportunity to learn. Maybe it would even help when she met Mamuro in a few day's time.

Shouldering the bow, the half breed let her legs dangle over the branch and relaxed a moment, closing her eyes and focusing inside. She had used morphing to alter her voice once before back near Taloba. She had mimicked a wolf howl then, but this time she wanted to do something different...and that was to make her voice loud and all encompassing. She imagined the horns that Myrians used, their piercing call that seemed to penetrate the forest from all sides. It would be like the wolf howl, just louder, wider.

Slowly she felt the djed rise up from her center, and her mind, remaining calm, but somewhat excited, guided it up through her throat, to hang just below the back of her tongue. She pressed it out around the sides of her throat, coating the walls with her magic, and she imagined her voice, just louder, booming like the jungle.

"Lucky Hunter. Okapi Hard to Find."

She called down. The effect wasn't perfect, not by a long shot, but there was something to it. The viper would instantly know where the half breed was, but her voice was quite loud, and reverberated nicely down towards her.

High up in the trees the figure sat, one leg crossed over the other, a bow and quiver relaxed about her shoulders and a head cocked to the side, looking down at the naked female eating an Okapi raw. Now it was the Dhani's move.

With the "candle" in place, Aka felt a lot safer. She loved fire in the past, but now, it truly became her solace as the fiery children she birthed wouldn't harm their mother anymore. The Viper gradually stopped being cautious and continued cutting messy strips of meat from the Okapi and consuming it. She should really learn on how to skin animals better.

"E-ewww!" A foul smell emanated from the animal, it seemed she stabbed at the wrong location on an organ around the belly she didn't have knowledge about. Aka changed location, she was now cutting the Okapi near its front leg. A satisfied expression on her face as she filled her stomach with meat, this would keep her going for days. She should thank Siku for creating the Dhani race with a very efficient digestive system, she sometimes pitied the humans who had to eat multiple times daily.

Aka let out a burp, she put her right hand to cover her mouth, giggling sheepishly, good thing no one was here... that was until a voice boomed at her from above.

"W-w-w-wha?!!" Aka was so surprised at she sudden loud voice, her first instinct was to roll away from her meal, dropping the stone dagger in the process. "Y-yow! Ow ow ow..." Rolling right after a meal, not a good idea. She felt her stomach protesting to not disturb its work, shooting pains to her abdomen. Aka curled up on the ground and gritted her teeth. Who was it? Myrians? This was bad, she was not in a good shape to defend herself, being in human form, naked, and groaning in pain.

Aka held out her right hand and pulled the res candle close to her, shaping it into a fireball instead. Her eyes darted to the direction where the voice came from, above in the trees. "Hi!?" There, she found the culprit. It was a woman wearing Myrian-like clothing or something, she didn't care. How the black-haired woman just sat there, looking down at her with a (in her mind) smug expression on her face.

The Viper's inferiority complex registered the woman as "curvy" first before anything else, she looked tall too. It only fueled her annoyance more. "Sssssssss!! B-bitch!" She literally hissed and aimed the fireball at the woman.

However, pain shot up from her abdomen again and she lost her concentration, dropping the fireball into the ground, the flames spread, also crawling over to her body but due to Ivak's gift she wasn't harmed. "Waaaaah!" Aka scratched her head in panic, she didn't want to repeat her reckless actions of burning down a forest again. Holding out her right hand, Aka pulled the res, refreshed it with some more gaseous res, and pulled all the fire on and around her.

"G-guh..." Fireball in tow, she shifted to a sitting position. Looking up in anger, Aka almost snarled at the woman and wanted to just burn her to pieces. However, something was strange... if this Myrian wanted to kill her, why didn't she just do so while she was groaning in pain? Or heck, when she was eating as Aka assumed the woman had been watching her for quite a while now. Also, what did she mean by that statement? It sounded like a praise.

".....W-what do you want... you want my kill? No! It'sss mine! G-go away! Go!" Aka grumbled, shielding her flat chest with her hands, the fireball floating near her shoulder. The woman didn't look hostile, her stance was relaxed, and she didn't hold any weapons on her hand, she didn't look like someone looking for a fight. Still, Aka could never be too careful, she still kept the fireball in case things went south.

That kind of build and breasts should be a crime! What kind of drugs does she eat?!

[Jungle Wilds] Purebred And Half-Breed (Tinnok)

In her short lifetime Tinnok had experienced many Dhani reactions. The classic standard, of course, was just a roaring mess of teeth and muscled scales that tried to rip her apart, stab her, shoot her, and bludgeon her to death. But as of late these had changed to a grudging allyship based upon shared religions, respect out of combat prowess, and even one that wanted to procreate with her....

What she had never expected, however, was one to show...fear? Perhaps she shouldn't go that far, maybe the female was just confused, but no self-respecting Constrictor Tinnok had ever encountered, whether they be dead or alive today, had ever shown emotions akin to a cornered animal caught doing something bad...

Tinnok leaned forward upon her branch, squinting down at the Dhani guarding her kill. She contemplated summoning her Djed again for a long distance conversation, but instead she decided to get...just a bit closer.

Continuing to lean forward, Tinnok let herself fall forward, legs hooking around the branch as her arms swung down, grabbing onto another branch and letting her legs go, flipping from one branch to another. Now clinging to the lower branch with her hands she let go, dropping down onto a lower branch and squeezing her thighs together to keep from toppling down like an over-ripe fruit from a Strangler Fig.

From here she still felt safe from whatever fire the Dhani might summon, but didn't have to scream at her either. From this distance, Tinnok got a better idea of the female's form, and it she seemed to look more like a child than a full grown Dhani woman. Perhaps she was a child and this was the source of her fear? Maybe a first hunt outside of Zinrah. Tinnok decided to keep the speculations to herself and instead chuckled in an extremely delayed response to Aka's accusation, her broken common showing through as she spoke.

"I not want your kill, just happen through. I am Tinnok, servant of Caiyha, you are?"

Perhaps it was better to give her title. She still felt a bit of emptiness without the 'Tempered Steel' bit of her name, but servant of Caiyha had a nice ring to it as well, even if Nightly never like the term. Her weapon was sheathed, her posture relaxed, and the half breed was sincerely hoping no fireballs needed to be thrown her way, she didn't want to tend to a burnt section of jungle when she could prevent such a mess. Regardless, her curiosity about the pale female had been piqued, and she wanted to know more. She cursed both Mamuro and Svan, as it was surely both of their faults she had lost some base fear of what so recently had been an ancient enemy only fit for killing...but there it was.

The longer she stared at the woman, the more irritated she got. The woman's nonchalant attitude about the whole thing annoyed her greatly. It was as if she saw the small Viper as a harmless creature incapable of even warrant the slightest amount of caution. Her views on the matter might be exaggerated and over-the-top, but it was all driven by a single strong emotion, jealousy.

The gnosis at her shoulder blade washed her with warm feelings, reacting to her emotional turmoil. The Viper gritted her teeth, if she attacked the woman, it was just the same as admitting defeat. The black-haired tree-perching Myrian female already showed her lenience by stating her presence instead of just stealthily killing her, at least that warranted a praise. Usually, Myrians would kill a Dhani on sight. Aka wasn't fond of being an opportunistic dirty fighter, she had some semblance of "honor" in the most loose kind of way.

She cursed herself for not being brave enough, or at least acted brave enough. She could put up a decent fight and together with Mamoru, they were a deadly combination of strength, speed, and magic. However, one of the reasons she was often underestimated was her lack of apparent bravery, she showed her emotion too much that other more veteran Dhani warriors often scoffed her as a little girl. In short, she was bad at making a decent first impression.

Back to the woman, it was clear to Aka now that she was absolutely and definitely not looking for a fight. She dropped down to a lower branch, showing her toned and curvy figure even further. Aka narrowed her eyes as her envy urged her to kill the woman, but she screamed at herself and slammed the fireball to the ground, transforming it into a puff of harmless air. "Hmph..." Aka crossed her arms over her chest due to her self-conciousness combined with her bare state.

Aka kept locking her eyes with the Myrian, she still didn't notice Tinnok's slitted eyes due to the darkness and the moonlight was placed against her. The woman spoke again, this time with a more tolerable voice. "E..." Aka was rather struggling to comprehend what the woman said, the Viper was not exactly fluent in Common and the woman's broken sentences confused her. "Talk better! It'sss hard to hear you!" She used every chance she got to point at the woman's flaws, she couldn't be all perfect, right? Well, she may had the body dreamt by every dominant female, but it seemed she was rather unintelligent. The Viper tried to give a smirk, but the blush creeping at her face showed otherwise.

"Oh, you don't want it? Good! Caussse it'sss mine! Catch it yourssself!" She patted the dead Okapi, searching around for her stone dagger and picked it back up. Surprisingly, the woman immediately introduced herself, what did she want exactly? A Myrian getting this close to a Dhani complete with civilized introduction. This made Aka questioned the true nature of the woman. She said she was a servant of Caiyha, Aka was not too familiar with the Goddess of Nature, only what she heard from the Dhani worshippers about it.

"Caiyha, Goddess of Nature? There are sssome worshippersss of her in Zinrah..." The Viper muttered before she realized she was being swept in this "civilized" conversation with the Myrian woman. "Oh! What if you are a ssservant of Caiyha?! You are ssstill a Myrian, aren't you?! Hsss!" She literally hissed, but made no motion to physically harm the woman. Then something clicked inside her mind, she was so caught up in her racism and jealousy that she found herself berating the woman just because of her perceived race and... as much as pitiful it may sound, body.

"....." The Viper begrudgingly looked down and cut another piece of meat from Okapi, grumbling while chewing it. She tried to talk while she was eating and her voiced ended up being muffled, Aka swallowed first and continued. "You know, I sssusspect that being a ssservant of Caiyha made you ressspect nature, right? Isss that why you didn't kill me even because I'm a Dhani while you are a Myrian, female?" The Viper then figured she could learn something from the woman, it was not everyday she could interact with a Myrian not involving burning and exploding them to smithereens.

"I'm Soshakuakamamushi, Tinnok..." The name sounded strange, very unDhani-like, perhaps this was how Myrians named themselves. "Come down here, you're too tall already, I don't need your boasssting about your height." And your chest too... But she couldn't bring herself to say that.

The viper complained up at her, an Tinnok smirked. She sounded much like a child, but there was something adult about her restraint. A foolish creature would have simply attacked her without finding out her motives or the extent of her abilities, whatever strange behavior was emanating from the woman, she did not appear too foolish.

She could tell the woman was confused, confused about her simply speaking to her, probably confused about her inaccurate common, but Tinnok did not expect to be invited down to the ground. It could be a trap..to summon her close in order to better incinerate her. She contemplated her potential options ground bound, and decided it was worth the risk, letting herself drop through the canopy, spying a liana vine to slow her fall.

Her hands grasped the vine, too calloused to be rubbed raw by the friction of her weight sliding down, and the half breed made a...more or less, adequate landing, not much flair, but not embarrassing herself either. She brushed back a lock of hair, revealing her yellow eyes and knelt beside the Okapi, a thumb brushing over it's soft muzzle.

"I am Myrian, true." She began, struggling not to sound like a half wit. "But I also Dhani." It was the simplest explanation she could afford.

"I not try kill you, for I met few Dhani that not try kill me...so return...what is word...favor?" She shrugged and removed a dagger from her belt, hovering over the carcass.

"I wonder if you mind, I not take meat, only fat, good for oil bow." She gestured to the weapon slung over her shoulder, but did not place the blade to the Okapi's coat until Aka gave a reply, pausing to mull over the complicated name.

"So-shah-kua-kah-mamoo-shi" She slowly repeated, shaking her head. "Too long of name, what call you for shortness?" She moved around the Okapi, lifting up a leg and slicing away at the haunch, peeling back a layer of skin to reveal the muscles and tendons of the leg. Digging through them with the tip of her dagger she removed a hunk of the pearlescent white fate of the creature, licking a bit off of her fingers before sitting down crosslegged upon the ground and removing her bow from her shoulder and laying it in her lap. She then began to rub the hunk of fat up and down long the string, manually teasing chunks that got stuck to make a nice even layer of the stuff along her bow.

"Are all Dhani women small in human kind?" She asked, sincerely puzzled. "I would ask age, but Myrians not find it politeness."

Well, the woman's compliance was rather surprising, Aka didn't expect her to just go down within the prime range of her fireballs. It showed Tinnok was either really not hostile or just plain stupid, it was most likely the former. Yep, she's not dumb alright... As much as she hated to admit it, Tinnok looked experienced and knew her way around this accursed jungle. Her movements rivalled Aka's own in terms of fluidness and agility. This brought another pause in the Viper's meal session, not only tall and well-endowed, she was nimble too! Aka's hopes of defeating the woman in terms of acrobatics were crushed to million pieces.

Grumbling and muttering curses under her breath, she stabbed the Okapi again, too roughly this time and got the blade stuck between the ribs. "Grrr... come on you ssstupid... ssstupid!" She pulled with all her might and the stone dagger decided to just release itself, sending Aka sprawling backwards. "Gaaaah! Petch thisss!" She stabbed the dagger to the Okapi's belly and sat down, grumbling. She was already full anyway.

Oh, now you are beside me, what are you going to d-... Her train of thoughts was quickly halted when she saw Tinnok's eyes, just in conjunction with her admitting she was a Myrian but also a Dhani. "W-w...w-w-w-wha?" Aka mumbled like an idiot as the image of Tinnok's yellow slits bore itself deep into her mind. Tinnok was a Dhani?! But she admitted she was also a Myrian, how could that be possible? Aka thought very hard about it. She didn't know Dhani females could be impregnated by males other than Dhani, even then, only the same sub-race could do so. Dhanis were one of the races with the highest sexual security. Unfortunately, this also made them hard to reproduce. Combined with their inner-fighting, a century maturity period, and constant threat from Myrians in case of Constrictors, it was no wonder they were only hundreds of Dhanis left in Mizahar. The notion of a male Dhani impregnating a female of other race didn't came to her at the moment.

"H-how can you be both?! Y-you can't be both! Dhani females can't get pregnant from other racesss!!" She spoke the sentence quite fast, tone of confusion clearly coated it. Everything about the woman was perplexing, who was she? Some manifestation of a god trying to play tricks into her? Aka rubbed her forehead, trying to convince herself that Tinnok was just a full-blooded Dhani who just liked to mess with her, like Mamoru. However, she felt the woman wasn't jesting. "How... tell me, Sissster? How?" Well, she said she was a Dhani, it would be appropriate to call her that.

"Oh..." Now Tinnok just got her all curious, it seemed the half-blood had some interesting histories. The way she said it made it look like Dhanis often try to kill her. Well, it was not far-fetched as she looked like a Myrian... maybe save for her eyes. Aka was more convinced about Tinnok's nature, but she still wanted to know on how exactly she could be this way.

"S-sssure..." Now she was sharing her kill with a woman who claimed to be both Dhani and Myrian, she must be going crazy. Nevertheless, she couldn't eat the whole animal, if Tinnok wanted meat, Aka supposed she could give her some rather than just let it rot. "If you want to eat too, that'sss fine." Aka shrugged, being full, she became more generous.

"Oh hey! Your name isss the one too ssshort, Tin!" The Viper deliberately cut off Tinnok's already short name even shorter. How dare she criticized a Dhani's glorious name? It contained her mother's name as well! Other races were too puny they needed to separate their names into multiple words and some only have a short single word, such as Tinnok. She said she was part Dhani, she should had no problems with her name. Aka sighed, she decided to humor her "You can call me Aka..." Sharing kills and introducing each other to a part-Myrian part-Dhani servant of Caiyha who came out of nowhere, tomorrow, Aka would be cuddling with a Myrian for all she knew.

She watched as Tinnok did what she planned to do, Aka didn't really care much about weapons, it was a hassle carrying them around. She got all she needed from her reimancy, from fireballs, candles, dagger, spearheads, everything. The moment Tinnok said the word 'small', Aka visibly tensed, staring dangerously to the half-breed. "S-sssmall?!" This made her inferiority complex flared, especially coming from a woman whose body she greatly envied. "I-I'm not sssmall! I'm not! You're jussst too large!! Tall and b-...big!!" Aka put her hands to her waist, forgetting about her modesty, not like it mattered anyway. She had nothing there, heck, even Zarboneus got bigger chest than her and he was a male Dhani. "I'm not a Constrictor, I'm a Viper, Conssstrictorsss are giantsss, like you!"

"My age." Now this was her last hope of coming off as an adult to Tinnok, she already lost first impression, lost body impression, she couldn't lose in terms of age... unless Tinnok aged like Dhanis as well. "I'm about... eh..." Aka didn't count, but she was sure she was over a hundred years old. "I'm over one hundred springsss old. How'sss that? Ha!" She was acting childish, but she didn't realize it as always.

"What about you, Tinnok? Tell me! How old are you? And uh, where do you live? In the Jungle?" Aka was almost joking when she asked Tinnok's residence.

Important Note: Aka is currently pregnant (with eggs, being a Dhani) at the moment and as such, her belly is slightly bulging and she moves noticeably slower than usual.

"Aka...more easy."

This Aka was right to be confused and uncertain, Tinnok had had more than a season now to adjust to the idea of not killing Dhani, a desire dormant in her for much longer, but this must surely be a strange idea for Aka, foreigner or no. Tinnok shook out her shoulders as she continued working the fat over the string of her bow, watching Aka thoughtfully. The half breed seemed not to be offended by Aka's defensiveness and strange loudness in the middle of the jungle, perhaps in part because of a lifetime lived under the scrutiny and insults of others. She did not see herself in the light Aka seemed to, and did not realize that a sense of jealousy was where the Viper's animosity lay.

"My mother Myrian, father Dhani." She said in way of explanation to Aka's question. "I not able to morph form, but have eyes and scales." A small shrug in way of emotion, though her eyes glanced warily at Aka at being addressed as sister. She wasn't sure if that was simply a Dhani term, or some strange way to lull her into a false sense of security when the Viper had shown no outward signs of friendliness prior. Of course inviting one to share in your hunt was certainly a kindness, though. Tinnok had already eaten that day, but she did eat a section of the fat with a bit of muscle on it just to give her a little energy.

As for the idea of vipers, Tinnok tried to wrap her head around it. Svan was a Rattler, with his big clubbed tail, and a smaller frame then constrictors, which made a viper even smaller she supposed. "Maybe you not small, just small to me. Only cause everything here so...big." Tinnok said good naturedly, setting her block of fat aside and rubbing in the oils with her fingers instead to make sure it was all absorbed into the string.

It seemed strange that such a young looking figure could be over a century old, but Tinnok was sure she was telling the truth by the way she fumed. "I only 25 winters, you have me there."

She smiled broadly at Aka's comment. "I do live in woods, so can better serve Caiyha. She is my true mother, so I follow and help jungle grow strong." She decided to avoid showing her Gnosis for now, though it wasn't precisely hidden curling around her right arm up her shoulder. Tinnok sat contentedly upon the floor, studying the pale naked Dhani before asking bluntly. "Why you come here?"
