Aka understood one's fondness of the jungle and sadness that came with some of its parts being burnt to the crisps and black ashes. However, the Viper found Tinnok's reaction to be exaggerating, it was just trees and leaves, as far as she knew, no animals were caught in the small local jungle fire. Aka also extinguished it, wasn't that enough? Trees were trees, they were all the same, they couldn't talk, couldn't move, and the only indication that they were alive was they kept getting bigger and taller. Don't tell her, Tinnok's mark could make her talk with trees? Aka wanted to snort, the notion was so ridiculous the Viper couldn't even hold her snicker despite the very inappropriate situation. She wanted to ask, but still got the empathy to not disturb Tinnok in her 'tree-talking' session.
"That'sss okay..." Aka scratched her head, the waist-length ebony locks flowing down along her back, not in their usual twin ponytails style. "I figured you couldn't underssstand sssnake-tongue anyway." In her whole hundred of years life, Aka hadn't met even a single non-Dhani who could speak and understand snake-tongue. Not even half-breeds like Tinnok were able to comprehend, it must be one difficult language for non-Dhanis. "Eh, uhm," Aka checked her body, discovering some sore spots and bruises in her chest, waist, and hips. "Couple of bruissses, but I'll be fine."
The Viper sat down comfortably on the incinerated ground, her back against the very same tree burned by her fire earlier. She watched as Tinnok scrounge around the Myrians' bodies, Aka half-expected Tinnok was going to eat them, but of course she wouldn't, she would not lower herself to the ranks of these good-for-nothing savages. Aka couldn't exactly hear Tinnok's whispering prayers due to her being in human form, but she could deduce it was some kind of prayer nonetheless. She found it odd, why would she pray for these hated enemies? "Sissster, I don't think they dessserve your prayersss, jussst let them rot." The Viper surprised even herself at her cold statement, her hatred for these foreign race was fostered by her experiences and influenced by the Constrictors.
"Oh, I sssee... Good riddance, they don't dessserve to be your people anyway." She felt simpathy for the half-breed, being hunted by those scums. At least Aka had the safety of Zinrah and Myrians didn't hunt specifically for her. She found a perfect solution for Tinnok though. "You know, you can come with me to Zinrah. You sssee, I brought a human and a Kelvic there! They are both ssstill fine, well at leassst the human isss caussse ssshe isss my..." Aka wanted to say 'slave' but it was not a good choice considering the situation. "helper! Yesss, Yuki isss my helper." She let Tinnok think about her offer. "You can even meet Mamoru, careful though, he'sss rather..." She squinted her eyes, searching for the proper word "...ssstrange and mysssteriousss."
"What do you sssay, Sissster? Come with me? You don't have to be alone, you know. I wasss alone once until... he took me in."
