Aka understood one's fondness of the jungle and sadness that came with some of its parts being burnt to the crisps and black ashes. However, the Viper found Tinnok's reaction to be exaggerating, it was just trees and leaves, as far as she knew, no animals were caught in the small local jungle fire. Aka also extinguished it, wasn't that enough? Trees were trees, they were all the same, they couldn't talk, couldn't move, and the only indication that they were alive was they kept getting bigger and taller. Don't tell her, Tinnok's mark could make her talk with trees? Aka wanted to snort, the notion was so ridiculous the Viper couldn't even hold her snicker despite the very inappropriate situation. She wanted to ask, but still got the empathy to not disturb Tinnok in her 'tree-talking' session.

"That'sss okay..." Aka scratched her head, the waist-length ebony locks flowing down along her back, not in their usual twin ponytails style. "I figured you couldn't underssstand sssnake-tongue anyway." In her whole hundred of years life, Aka hadn't met even a single non-Dhani who could speak and understand snake-tongue. Not even half-breeds like Tinnok were able to comprehend, it must be one difficult language for non-Dhanis. "Eh, uhm," Aka checked her body, discovering some sore spots and bruises in her chest, waist, and hips. "Couple of bruissses, but I'll be fine."

The Viper sat down comfortably on the incinerated ground, her back against the very same tree burned by her fire earlier. She watched as Tinnok scrounge around the Myrians' bodies, Aka half-expected Tinnok was going to eat them, but of course she wouldn't, she would not lower herself to the ranks of these good-for-nothing savages. Aka couldn't exactly hear Tinnok's whispering prayers due to her being in human form, but she could deduce it was some kind of prayer nonetheless. She found it odd, why would she pray for these hated enemies? "Sissster, I don't think they dessserve your prayersss, jussst let them rot." The Viper surprised even herself at her cold statement, her hatred for these foreign race was fostered by her experiences and influenced by the Constrictors.

"Oh, I sssee... Good riddance, they don't dessserve to be your people anyway." She felt simpathy for the half-breed, being hunted by those scums. At least Aka had the safety of Zinrah and Myrians didn't hunt specifically for her. She found a perfect solution for Tinnok though. "You know, you can come with me to Zinrah. You sssee, I brought a human and a Kelvic there! They are both ssstill fine, well at leassst the human isss caussse ssshe isss my..." Aka wanted to say 'slave' but it was not a good choice considering the situation. "helper! Yesss, Yuki isss my helper." She let Tinnok think about her offer. "You can even meet Mamoru, careful though, he'sss rather..." She squinted her eyes, searching for the proper word "...ssstrange and mysssteriousss."

"What do you sssay, Sissster? Come with me? You don't have to be alone, you know. I wasss alone once until... he took me in."

Perhaps those bodies did not deserve her mercy or prayers. Perhaps Dira should banish them to the depths of the Ukalas to rot for eternity, but Tinnok knew those ashen corpses had family that would hold back tears for quiet dark rooms, and through funerals in their honor when they did not return home, and children who would miss, parent's, aunts and uncles, sisters and brothers. For a moment she wished to lash out at Aka for her coldness, but she could not. For neither side was wrong for their hate, nor were they right.

Walking back towards the Viper with her recycled arrows, Tinnok loosened the breast piece of her armor, lifting up the cloth of her covering to see a purple black flowering bruise expanding outwards from beneath the bandages binding her breasts to her chest. She poked the injury tentatively, wincing at the pain of contact with it. Sighing she re-attached the armor, deciding it was better as a protective layer, then none.

Then yellow eyes widened as Aka invited her back to Zinrah. The half breed's mind spun a little at the words, and she waited just long enough for Aka to finish before a chuckle escaped out of her throat, turning into hoarse laughter that rang for about a chime before Tinnok was able to collect herself.

"Dhani may let me go in Zinrah, but they never let me leave." She sat on the ground, a cloud of smoky leaves and dust puffing up around her as she looked up towards the night sky.

"Once...when I done serve in army, I was...hurt by people with knives and tools only for pain in deep part of army base. They thought I betray people, work for Dhani, which 'nother story." She rubbed her head thoughtfully. "You know what secret, what knows I about Taloba army? Dhani like me oh so much for such thing, they do something like before with many knives, but there be no breaks, no freedom in dark cave. I look too Myrian to be Dhani, too Dhani to be Myrian."

She shook her head. "I sorry for laugh, rude, but life teach me I find own path in the forest, not one or other that lay before me, carved by snake or savage."

Her head quirked though, remembering a topic for discussion from earlier. "Mamuro, he is snake I met before. We...we have deal, he help me once, and now I owe him....favor." That was putting it lightly, but...no matter. "He very mysterious, yes." She snorted, smiling at the understatement.

"You friends with he?"

Aka figured Tinnok still shared some empathy with her Myrian-half 'kin', the very same kin who hunted her like she was their sworn enemy. The Viper realized she was not exactly wise or all-knowing like sages, but she could see what Tinnok did was rather... foolish. Enemies deserved to be eradicated to the very last person, save for a decent few. The Myrians were determined to wipe out her cousins, let's see them being wiped out for once. They got the strength of numbers and very few Dhanis would admit that the only thing keeping them safe was Myri's pact with Caiyha, Aka still wasn't aware of it.

Cooling down after the battle, Aka's attention was now fully back to the half-breed and her body. Tinnok lifted her clothes, giving Aka a clear view of the 'underwear' worn by the woman and her breasts held within. The Viper narrowed her eyes, was she doing this on purpose? Unlikely, but Aka was annoyed nonetheless. The Viper hissed and looked at her own chest, she never wore any underwear for it would restrain her transformation process and although she wouldn't admit it, she didn't need it as there was nothing to cover there. The Viper hissed and turned her head to get Tinnok's chest out of her view. "Don't ssshow me thossse lumpsss, I know you have them and I don't..." She mumbled under her breath, not caring whether Tinnok could hear it or not.

"...." Tinnok's reaction at her genuine invitation was surprising, and offending to a degree. Did the half-breed think it was some kind of joke? Aka stared in disbelief as Tinnok went from chuckling to full-blown laughing. The whole chime while she laughed felt slow and agonizing, it was like the mixed blood stabbing at her hospitality. Aka didn't knew whether Tinnok intended to mock her or not, but she decided to keep silent as her serpentine eyes stared angrily at Tinnok. Why are you doing this? I offered you salvation, yet you laugh at it. Are you intending to torture yourself?

Not let you leave? She tilted her head as she tried to comprehend Tinnok's broken Common. From what she could understand was that both Myrians and Dhanis hated her, they both hunted her. This made Aka's anger dissipate, replaced by sympathy and pity. "I'm sssorry.." By Ivak, how many times did she apologize already? This had to stop. Tinnok's own apology only made her feel more awful and guilty. "Okay then..." If Tinnok wanted to be a lone wolf then who was she to stop her?

"What?! Y-you have..." Another surprise, Tinnok had met with Mamoru. Not just meeting, they also struck a deal together. "Hsss..." She should have known, someone like Tinnok with Mamoru, he would be attracted to exotic beings such as the half-breed, fitting with his Trickster image. "What kind of favor?! What happened between you and him?!" She must know it all. Aka didn't know why she was being a nuisance to Tinnok's business with Mamoru. In truth, she was jealous, Mamoru had a relationship with this well-endowed woman. The Viper didn't want to admit she was fond of the Constrictor, but couldn't deny it either. It was completely selfish of her to act like this, but she wouldn't be able to sleep at night if she didn't find out now. Asking Mamoru was out of the question.

"F-friendsss, n-no, I'm hisss..." slave, servant, comrade? I don't know... "It doesssn't matter! What are you to him?!" Aka stood up and approached the half-breed, her face showing anger fueled by envy. "Tell me!" She didn't want to resort to violence, but by Ivak she would wrench the truth out of her. She didn't want to be left in the dark.

She watched the Viper, sorry for hurting her, as the laughter had clearly done, but the absurdity of such an idea had obviously not been considered by a full fledged Dhani who lived within the caverns of Zinrah. She saw Aka's face fall with the realization, and almost felt like apologizing again for crushing what had obviously been a genuine act of kindness.

She realized belatedly that Aka mentioned a human living in Zinrah, and someone else Dhani, and shuddered at the thought. A life lived entirely in the sheltered caverns of Zinrah, looked upon like food by everyone around you? That seemed like no life to the tree dwelling witch, no life at all.

But then the topic of Mamuro was brought up. Like snapping a finger, Aka's personality seemed to turn on the corner of a Miza, her eyes heating up, her whole stance changing from one of passive apology to aggression bordering on full out hostility. Tinnok's eyes widened, her form backing up somewhat. Despite her stature, she had seen precisely what this viper was capable of, and knew that it would take but an instant for Aka to explode her like she had four whole Myrians with a single thought. She wasn't confident Aka would go through with it, but she was right to be wary of her intentions.

"Met Mamuro a season ago." She started calmly. She wasn't sure if the viper and constrictor were in some sort of relationship, you would think so from Aka's unbidden rage, but perhaps it wasn't the kind that Tinnok was thinking of.

"First we kill Myrians together like you and I, then...then he help me fix a glade, dead, restore life to it. For help I...well...he made promise that I...give him..." She paused. She had never really said the deal out loud to anyone, even herself. All internalized, her worry about the events to unfold, what she had promised to Mamuro, had all been bottled up.

"I must give him a child. I go to meet him in few suns to seal deal." She looked up, watching Aka's face which seemed to be a roil of emotions and held up her hands.

"I hope you not think anything of it, he...he has used power on me, or something, something that made me weak, but I not want to back out on deal, trick or no. He not care for me, it not...." Her eyes trailed off. Trying to make Aka feel better she spewed all the thoughts she had kept inside. It is simply one of his tricks, he doesn't care for you, and never will, just take a Dhani to see the benefits of a half breed Myrian/Dhani, unlike the Myrians who shoved me out the front door with a good kick.

The half breed sighed, hanging her head. "You like Mamuro, lot?" She must, at least for some reason. Then Tinnok's eyes widened as well, looking up at Aka. "He trick you too, like me?" She grinned, hoping it was the case, to both be tricked by the Trickster provided a level of camaraderie that was pathetic, yes, but laughably so at the very least.

"Ssss..." Due to her much shorter stature, Aka had to tilt her head upwards to look at Tinnok in the eye. Her reptilian scarlet eyes barely holding back intense amount of envy, she felt her gnosis flared at her emotional eruption. She so wanted to rip out Tinnok's clothes and no matter how illogical and absurd it may sound, steal her endowment and height from her. Of course the Viper didn't consider her desire plans to be nonsensical in her rage. Your body! It must be your body that attracts him! It's not fair!! Not fair! Her lack of self-confidence only fueled her tantrum further and Aka found herself straining as she listened on what Tinnok had to say.

Aka clenched and unclenched her fists as Tinnok told her story. So Master and her actually met for a while now, the past season. Aka wondered on why Mamoru never told her about it, she knew why, it was none of her business but she wouldn't admit it. "Go on..." Interesting, from what Tinnok told her, they both met in a similar situation as Tinnok and her. She tilted her head at the mention of 'fixing' a glade, what did she mean by that? But it didn't matter, Aka let her curiosity on the glade slide away, she was more interested in Tinnok's involvement with the Trickster.

"C-c-c-..." The Viper couldn't hold it back anymore, she looked down and trembled, her fists clenched so hard that her skin went even paler that it already was. "CHILD?!!" She exploded. It was completely absurd, Mamoru demanded a child from a half-breed? She thought he hated Myrians with a passion, what bewitched him to even think of siring an offspring with a woman who had Myrian blood in her? The notion was utterly unbelievable that Aka found herself giggling, an empty hollow giggle only filled with sick amusement and anger. It started slow at first, then it grew into a high-pitched hiss-laughter. "Sss...ssahahahahaha! AAAHAHAHAHAHA!! Y-you are kidding right? RIGHT?! M-massster wouldn't even think of mating with you! He HATESSS Myriansss! Do you hear me? He hatesss them!! How can... how can..." A drop fell to the ground and it was not even raining. Aka put her right hand to her eyes and found tears rolling down to her cheeks then to the blackened ground.

"T-thisss... thisss isss jussst one sssick joke..." The Viper, lifted her head, her face brimming with tears and... something unusual happened. Her body temperature rose sharply and steams began hissing out from her pores, creating a white misty aura around the Viper. It was a trait she adopted from her severe overgiving which would lead to her death if it was not for Ivak himself. Aka ignored the phenomenon, she was too crushed to even notice it. "Tell me... half-breed. Tell me you are kidding, pleassse... jussst tell me. TELL MEEEE!!" Aka grabbed Tinnok's shoulders and tried to shook her violently, but it wasn't really effective due to her weaker strength. Tinnok would feel the hot sensation coming from Aka's skin though.

How could she not think of it? Mamoru was going to petch a woman she just befriended in the jungle. A woman with mixed Dhani and Myrian blood, Aka still couldn't find why she found the idea so horribly upsetting. The woman was everything she wanted to be in terms of appearance and to her horror, Mamoru found her interesting, even going as far as to mate with her. "No... no no no no no no NO! NOOOO!!! D-don't do it!! I forbid you!! Why you musst do it?!! H-he tricked you, right?! T-then! Y-you ssshouldn't do it!!!" She hissed at the top of her lungs, not caring whether it would be attracting more Myrians. She would burn them all to burning bloody crisp if they decided to interfere.

The steam kept pouring out of Aka as she dropped to a kneeling position and a few ticks later, further dropped to all fours, tears falling down from her eyes like small rains. "N-no... I- I don't like him... I don't... I don't... I don't..." She muttered emptily like a broken record. At the mention of him tricking her, Aka rose up sharply again and tried to tackle Tinnok down. If by some means she succeeded, Aka would straddle the half-breed and pound at her chest with both of her hands like a girl in tantrum. "NO! He didn't trick me!! He sssaved me!! He fought with me!! He taught me thingsss! He likesss me! He didn't... trick me... e-even if he did... I wouldn't mind..." The last part of her sentence was spoken in a barely audible whisper.

"Why did thisss happen?" She looked up to the sky, asking the question to no one in particular. She didn't have the mental faculty to realize she was indeed in love with the Constrictor.

[Jungle Wilds] Purebred And Half-Breed (Tinnok)

She looked into Aka's eyes and saw the hurt, envy, and rage building up there. Tinnok felt a strange level of the kinship with the viper then that not even slaying Myrians together could have formed. She loved Mamuro, and Tinnok was getting everything she wanted, even if it wasn't for the right reasons, she stood as everything Aka desired while she was sitting there, feeling inadequate...weak.

Aka's hands clutched her fiercely, digging into Tinnok's skin, and the half breed's eyes widened as steam began rolling off of the snake as if she was the very essence of the fire she commanded. She saw a tear roll down her face only to evaporate, but she did not speak anymore, letting Aka have her tantrum. She stayed frozen, blank as a slate, letting the Dhani get all of her feeling out.

And when she was done, Tinnok enveloped the small woman in a tight hug, arms wrapping around her, half to comfort her, and half to hide her own tears which had begun to spring up out of her eyes. Tinnok had never been as explosively emotional as Aka, and probably never would be, but she understood precisely what she was feeling, for she had felt it time and time again when she had looked upon Eagle, her closest companion, a strong and powerful warrior, a brilliant leader...who loved her best friend. She knew when his eyes glazed over in thought when he was thinking about Aya, and reached out for any little sign that he might care for her like her half-Eypharian companion, knowing upon the same hand that he did not, and probably would never. When they had left together to brave the lands beyond Falyndar she had felt such pain that she would remain behind, and alas it was not just because it would be so long until she saw their faces again...it was because they had each other, and such love she had never felt.

"I sorry, Aka, so sorry." She pulled away, wiping the tears from her face. "But I must make good on deal, do not want to have Trickster hunt me like every else in woods."

A bit uncomfortable from the amount of heat being generated, Tinnok took a step back, looking down at the viper. "He has plan for me, I not know what, I sure it has to do with hate of Myrian." She shrugged, unsure of what words to offer her. So they clearly weren't in a relationship, but it seemed obvious that Aka wished she was. The half breed felt as if no matter what she did it was wrong. Finally releasing a lifetime of pent up emotions and frustration had felt exhilarating with Mamuro...and yet that too was wrong, for it hurt this being so much.

She sighed. "Understand you no want see me again."

"Uhuk..." The Viper tried her hardest to block her tears. She couldn't look pathetic in front of this half-breed, it would just further destroyed Tinnok's image of her. The tall woman probably thought of her as a selfish, arrogant, ungrateful little girl with many years of life but none of the wisdom that should have came with it. It ended in futility, she just didn't care anymore. Petch what Tinnok thought of her, she could have Mamoru until her womb exploded with his children for all she cared.

What... happened to me? It was at this moment Aka realized the steam hissing out form her body like small gas geysers. Aka examined her own body and just assumed it was the work of Ivak's mark on her. She became like fire itself, pouring out smoke as her emotions burned within her. "!?" She felt toned bronze arms wrapped around her body, her body pulled into Tinnok's embrance. "GRRRR!!! L-let me go!!!" Aka tried to push her away, but like most cases in Zinrah with various female Constrictors, her strength just wasn't enough to budge Tinnok away. The hug felt so offensive and unwanted, yet the Viper found herself gradually taking comfort in it. Slowly, she hugged back and buried her face on Tinnok's chest, staining her cloth with her tears which was quickly evaporated due to her heat.

"It'sss not fair... not fair..." She muttered it over and over, still burying herself into Tinnok's chest, feeling the breasts which she could never have unless using magic. Aka would not lower herself into using artificial means to change herself, she would feel like a cheap whore. The Half-breed's apology calmed the Viper down, enough to the point where she wouldn't try to douse Tinnok in molten rock. "I... undersstand..." Her reason was logical enough, being on Mamoru's badside would not spell well for Tinnok. She already got the Myrians chasing after her hide, adding the Trickster into the mix was a suicidal act.

Aka allowed Tinnok to release her hug. "His plansss..." Even if Mamoru would not tell her, she would find it out through Tinnok and perhaps jeopardize his little plan of making a family. The Trickster would be furious if he found out, but he didn't have to, did he? "Asss expected of him, I can't ssseem to figure it out asss well, Sissster." Aka had calmed down considerably after releasing her pent-up frustration at not being left out and hungry for love.

"No, Sissster. I'll sssee you again, I'll sssee thisss through the end. I'm not going to just blissfully ignore thisss, knowing Massster wanted to mate with you..." Aka took a step back, preparing herself to transform into her Viper form. "We will meet again." Then she began transforming into a red snake. Thirty ticks later, Aka in viper form hissed farewell and slithered back to Zinrah.

Master... You won't keep this whole business a secret from me...

OOCAlright! This should be my last post for the thread, Tin! You can post it for grading or PM me then I'll post it for grading. I'm very sure this would not be the last time Tinnok and Aka would meet. :D

[Jungle Wilds] Purebred And Half-Breed (Tinnok)

Postby Tinnok on November 6th, 2013, 8:10 pm

The half breed felt a deeper sorrow than she had expected for having to part with the viper. She was a passionate, strange being, but there was a fire in her that she could only admire...even if her powers posed a threat to Caiyha's domain. She was glad the female wasn't upset with her, at least anymore than necessary, she might be a pile of ashes if she were.

It seemed Mamuro had his hands in multiple pots, but somehow that didn't surprise Tinnok one bit. She was not the first nor last part of the Trickster's ploys, just one step in them...whatever his end goal might be.

Like she had said, it wasn't fair, but Tinnok had known a lifetime of unfairness, and this was nothing new. She took a step back as Aka said they would meet again, then began to transform. It was dark again, so Tinnok's vision was severely limited, but she could still appreciate the intense transformation of the Dhani before her. Her form was not much larger than her boa constrictor, Nissila, but the coloring was quite something, as black as an adder with fiery red patterns. Tinnok watched Aka slither off into the night, waiting until the moment when she had disappeared entirely from sight before heading off at a brisk pace into the woods. She did not run, not yet, for she would want to conserve her energy, but the faster she got away from this place the better.

And not long after she returned to the trees where it was safest. She was getting closer to her destination and Mamuro, best not jinx her safety now...
