A worried look appeared on Bolivar's face before resuming his stoic vigil. Obviously he had different thoughts regarding Hadyn on that manner but this was not the time nor place to argue. Finding himself concede the point to the blacksmith before listening what she had to say of the 'unlucky?' man. To lay it out all out for him to see. Suddenly it seemed all was not well with the lady smith.

"Hadyn?"

The front Hadyn put seemed to impress upon the squire a resolute stance on the subject. Something he shouldn't make light of nor dig deeper into. Yet...

"I'm sure you already know what it all means Hadyn. If you ever need an extra pair of eyes and hands to drag him back. I am not as accepting as you on this but I'm sure. I'm sure you two the reasons."

Throwing himself into the arguement went as he expected. Typically undisciplined and hopeless when it came to talking of serious matters. A single mom in Syliras? It is possible but it was hard no matter who you were. Even if you were the lady smith Hadyn.

"Anyways. Enough of my blathering. I promised you a grand feast of a meal don't I?"

Compared to the lady smith Bolivar was still just tiptoeing when it came to his relationships. Sure he was physically strong but he could not hold a candle to the strength projected by Hadyn's word of mouth. If anything he could better learn how to assert himself and maybe, maybe, progress with his latest infatuation into something more defined.

"Looks like we finally made it."

That walk across town did well to set a good mood for Bolivar as he traded the sights of the Maiden District for the more familiar and lively Nettle District. The main gates in full view Bolivar looked to Hadyn his mind still abuzz with small questions about her life.

"Care to ask me anything? It feels weird just learning about you. I'm not as interesting I am sure but I will try to entertain yes?"

Hadyn kept him in her sideways gaze for another chime, making a poor attempt discerning his disposition. She didn't know him well enough to catch on to subtle changes in his expression or tone but it would appear he was distressed by something she'd said. The fact was confirmed when he spoke her name, voice raising at the end in question. Slowing her pace the tiniest fraction to give his words consideration the woman turned her gaze to the path ahead.

Drag him back?

That would not end well for anyone, especially Bolivar. It struck her as curious that he seemed so distraught by her plight. They barely knew each other. Admittedly it wasn't the simplest of situations but the man's steadfast manner and opinion on the subject was somewhat intriguing. His overture hung in the negative space between them before he changed the subject. Good thing too. She couldn't imagine a proper response to his offer to drag Orion back.

"A feast indeed," the woman replied wryly with a quick grin. The sight of the establishment gave her stomach cause to remind her she hadn't eaten in some time. Following him to the door she considered his final comment.

"Not as interestin'? I met you half starved on your way into Syliras an' barely seen you after. I'd say you've got a fair more to tell me that's bound to be all kinds of interestin'." Hadyn flashed him a smile as they entered the White Swan. "Catch us a table an' then you can tell me your tale. Sure 'n I've been wonderin' what came of you since that summer day."

"Half starved? Haddy, the hunger was biting me a little bit but that was not what was really the problem. Being fatigued to the point of having trouble walking was the issue."

Coming into the Swan they were met with a critical gaze from the next waiter in line. First looking at the appearance of the two odd characters, the swell of Hadrian's belly and finally the pouring rain outside. Making a decision on the spot the gaze turned into something more accepting of the two as they were led out of the comfy looking lounge and seated immediately. Sitting father away from the center their waiter opted to place the two slightly out of sight as he ran off his introductions.

"So nice to the Swan have patrons despite the weather outside. My name is Will and I'll be serving you this evening. Today's lunch menu consists of a five course meal consisting of various recipes including a few servings of bread, either a chilled or hot soup along with an assortment of fruits and vegetables for starters, then a few select cuts of our finest cattle or swine, an assorted variety of avian roasts or otherwise broiled bird and finally some fresh fare from the sea's bounty. Shall we get started?"

Only nodding back to Bolivar seemingly out of habit behind Will someone was already carrying a tray basket filled to the brim with bread. All coming in every shape and side thought possible. Bolivar was no expert on bread but the small peculiar looking ones with seeds attached to them caught the squire's eye. Quickly making their selections the pair was presented with an assortment of accompaniments to go along with their choices. Jams, cheeses butter and some sort of paste made out of a nut (as told by the waiter.)

His gaze going back to Hadyn in a conspiring smirk waited for no invitation to enjoy their fare. Talking will come naturally while they were tasting a bit of everything. Sweet, foreign tastes bombarded the squire's tongue as he took his first few bites into the bread. The seeds also turned out to be a pleasant surprise for Bolivar as well. The crisp crunch giving a welcomed new perspective on how bread should be enjoyed. Will bowing out after his introduction was done left the two to enjoy their meal to their heart's content.

"This is something else isn't it? I have never been served like this. In such a way. This is spectacular!"

Drinks were quickly provided at their request and a slight warmth could be felt from Bolivar throughly enjoying the experience. No doubt made doubly so sharing the experience with an acquaintance of sorts. If Hadyn made an impression on him when they first met Bolivar hoped that this more then made up for the lost time between the two.

"Where was I? Oh!"

Already on his third piece of bread Bolivar found a hard balance between holding a conversation and simply enjoying the bounty before them.

"Traveling so far on the road with little help it was simply astounding how my legs started to give. So simple yet it becomes the bane of many a traveler."

Wondering if he could simply start eating the cheeses outright Bolivar made a move for the nut paste that he hadn't heard of before.

"Though that story is for another time. Was it Spring or Summer coming to Syliras? I barely get a look at the watchtowers while I am out and about."

Trying out the odd paste between sentences. A cautionary sniff. A nibble or two. Finally a willing bite and Bolivar found himself pleasantly surprise. Motioning to Hadyn at the taste Bolivar quietly tried to remember what exactly happened earlier these past few seasons.

"Nothing comparable to you I am sure but I am making what I think are steps forward in what I do. I enlisted shortly after your little rescue. I talked to a lord knight and now the day I become a knight should come by Spring at the latest. At least that's how it seems to me."

None too bashful in showing how accomplished he felt Bolivar looked to be finished with the handful of small bread bites he had started with. Will showing up soon after presenting Bolivar with his choice of either a hot or cold soup and whatever plant he wanted with it. Quickly choosing a hot soup for the Fall season along with a few leeks and chives Bolivar went to work on the next course.

"Other then that. I've also taken an interest in the goings around town. Solved me the missing squires problem and keeping tabs on some goings of a certain character. One of which unintentionally having me fall head over heels with a barmaid over at the Stallion. I got into a fight with my roommate over her. For assorted reason."

Trying to keep the conversation light Bolivar pursed his lips wondering what else he could share with Hadyn. No doubt that the subject of magic was to be avoided and even though she knew how to craft a weapon didn't necessarily mean she extensively trained with one. What else about him could he tell her?

"Did you know the rogue knight even saved this girl from him? At least that's what she said. Quite the profile on him from what I have so far."

That feeling of home; when your hammer falls.(Hadyn)

Hadyn followed her companion silently, graced by the alluring scents of the Swan. It was not her usual haunt but the few times she'd set foot into the place she was amazed by the intricacies of the food and the preparation of the cuisine. Having been ushered to a more inconspicuous location for their meal the brunette couldn't help but smirk inwardly. Based on their fellow patrons Bolivar and Hadyn were not the ideal customers. But they were customers nonetheless. Carefully seating herself the woman raised her gaze to Will as he spouted off a rehearsed introduction.

As the bread arrived Hadyn selected a simple roll flecked with grains of wheat. An eyebrow rose as the condiments for the bread were displayed. It was almost overwhelming. Breaking the bread and taking a generous heap of spreadable cheese the woman indulged in the bread. For being a simple roll it tasted better than anything she'd tried before. Eyes closed she savored the taste, the sharpness of the cheese contrasting deliciously with the blandness of the bread. Her gaze caught Bolivar as he spoke, commenting on the fare. She nodded, mouth full as she attempted a more ladylike demeanor.

He returned to his story as she stayed her hand, opting for a drink of water before she devoured the whole damn basket of bread. The pregnancy either had her starving herself for the distaste of certain food or consuming everything in site. Thankfully she was fully enjoying the start of their meal, his voice a backdrop as she sampled another typed of bread. It seemed Bolivar was making a more polite show of eating while she scarfing the cheese down. Slowing herself and wiping the corners of her mouth delicately she settled her gaze on him, listening to avoid eating more.

Hadyn canted her head when he mentioned the season he would achieve Knighthood. He must be another darling of the Knights, certain squires seemingly pushed up through their training to receive the coveted title of Ser or Sera before their peers. A eyebrow hitched over a sharp eye as she watched him, now speaking on a barmaid. It could very well be her friend. But there were too many barmaids at the Stallion to jump to that conclusion. But then he mentioned the Rogue Knight. Unless the fellow was running around extricating only Stallion employees from danger it was likely Bolivar was referring to Shiress. How interesting.

"You're quite the sleuth," Hadyn commented lightly, sitting back for a moment to avoid devouring more bread. She'd wait to bring up Shiress. "I know only what I've heard on the street 'bout this Rogue Knight. Strange character, him." The woman raised her chin slightly to look down her nose at the squire, a grin pulling one corner of her lips. "Anythin' interestin' you can tell me from your profile on the bastard?"

That feeling of home; when your hammer falls.(Hadyn)

oocSorry I ddin't posted earlier. Had some finals to do along with the usualy holiday stuff. Might have rambled on so I apologize for that as well.

"Mmmm, aye."

It was a customary comment but Bolivar couldn't feel clever nonetheless.

"Well I really shouldn't tell everyone I meet what I know about him."

Mimicking the grin slightly Bolivar could not help but chuckle slightly at the description Hadyn gave him.

"I suppose you can call him that. He has been making a name for himself for sure. "

Bolivar would leave it at that. For sure there were actions on the rogue knight's part that would merit him a bastard of sorts but the squire kept an open mind. It was a new way of thinking ever since he had came to Sylira. Looking at both the good and bad at one's actions. It was a very human trait to pick up.

"Well. I talked with some of the rogue knight's 'victims' for lack of a better word. His stature and how he is envisioned seem the same but he is given different personas and strengths from what I've heard. One day he was able to lift a full grown man with one hand and in others he is able to leave his mark without so much as a hint it was him. Only a mere whispering of his name on the onlooker's lips. Rogue knight."

Shrugging slightly as he finally heard himself he collapsed back on his chair. He was getting much too excited talking about the man instead of what he had been doing to actually get a track on the man.

"I suppose I make him seem much more popular then he really is. Despite what I said earlier many whom I talked to give little notice to man himself. The rogue knight is an unwelcome distraction that Syliras does not need. What the rogue knight stands for is all well and good but the person? I don't quite trust the rogue knight the man."

Mumbling immediately after questioning if it was human or not Bolivar's mood quickly brightened as the second round of food was delivered to them. The choice being a cool or hot soup along with any form of greens possible. It was a minor question but it was difficult nonetheless. Why not both?

"Just leave a little bit of both for me. Some mushrooms on the side and some slices of tomato and greens."

Truth be told he didn't know anything of fine cuisine. Though picking something that was familiar and something different from the norm seemed to be a good idea. A taste of the cold soup alongside a spoonful of mushrooms received an appreciative humm as he took a few more bites to enjoy their fare.

"So far. From talking with Shiress, the barmaid that saw him first, he was closer to six feet in height. Moved silently and swiftly despite the heavy armor and did not speak a word that time."

It wasn't much to go on from there choosing to omit the part where he flung one of Sylira's squires aside like a rag doll. Choosing rather to focus on parts Hadyn can relate to Bolivar instead chose to focus on something the both of them can discuss.

"Obviously one of the strong silent types, might even be mute. What is really interesting is his movements. Black armor still shines in when Leth's light but there is barely any reports of his appearances throughout the city. This isn't being meticulous in being unseen but something more. One does not simplymove through the city unseen and unheard at that. I've heard of different ways this is possible but I still need more thoughts on this. What say you? Is there any armor you know that acts like that?"

Of course there were many different angles to consider. Perhaps a masking agent, possibly magic and some that he has even yet to consider. Though for now he would settle for Hadyn's thoughts on the matter. Not necessarily wanting to pull her further in to his wild goose chase Bolivar minced turned to his hot soup. Mincing the tomatoes and greens together he added the combination to his soup and hummed sweet satisfaction.

"Hmm I can really get used to this."
