A fixture in the Plaza of Dark Delights, the House of Immortal Pleasures does not look like anything special from the outside. Crumbling paint, aged brick and rusted metal all lend the impression that this building is little more than condemned. However, once inside, a whole new realm is revealed. Black silk curtains hang from the walls while chairs and couches draped in black silk are neatly arranged around a large common room. A white marble floor creates a striking contrast while muffled sounds of pleasure mixed with pain can be heard from behind the walls and above the ceiling. Very sparingly dressed men and woman of exquisite beauty wander through the common room as they engage in casual small talk with would-be customers. A brothel through and through, the House of Immortal Pleasures is a place where pain and pleasure share beds with dark deals and secrets revealed. Staffed by slaves of the finest quality and talent, the House is frequented by customers from all stations of life.

On the far side of the common room stands a small but apparently well-stocked bar. Just to the side of the bar is a thick, deep purple curtain leading to a stairwell. Upstairs is where the magic happens and where fantasies are fulfilled. The House also carries a reputation as an unofficial spot for hired assassins to meet with their clients and negotiate the fine details of a contract. What better place for an assassin than a place where potential targets are the most vulnerable.

Rooms are luxurious in appearance and many house unique contraptions for love and hate alike. To partake in the pleasantries, one must simply get the attention of one of the lovely men or women milling about and let nature take its course.

Head Bartender
Age: 43, born 469
Skills: Bartending 48, Leadership 35, Negotiation 52, Observation 63, Mathematics 24

This jolly, good-natured, rather corpulent man works as a bartender in the common area of the House of Immortal Pleasures. He is key to the House’s smooth operation, and not just because he provides the alcohol. His keen eyes can usually spot trouble before it starts, though he usually sends someone else to deal with it. He is also one of the primary accounts-keepers of the establishment; his firm grasp of numbers helps him make sure no one skips out on the bill.

Jacob has the authority to hire new employees, or purchase slaves, though he won’t hire just anybody. He answers directly to the owners, and has almost as much interest in keeping up the reputation in keeping up the House’s reputation as they do. He is generally well-liked by his subordinates and even his rivals, thanks to his unconditional friendliness and fairness in dealing with others.

Requires Moderation: Yes for employment, no for talking or purchasing drinks.

Day 56 of Winter in the Year 513 AV

It had been a few days since his run in with the local muggers. He was still very careful when moving his head around and his left arm was still incredibly sore. Tyrek had spent the last couple days recuperating, keeping a low profile. The time was not wasted, however. His time spent caged, gave him the opportunity to plan his next move. He figured enough time had gone by that he could show his face.

Tyrek left his apartment and took off for the Plaza of Dark Delights. It was time to enter the House of Immortal Pleasures and scope out the interior. He hoped it was more appealing on the inside than the outside portrayed. Less than half a bell later, the Svefra found himself standing in front of the brothel, a dozen yards away from where his scuffle occurred a few days prior.

Tyrek adjusted his belt, feeling the weight of his dirk hanging from his side, covered by his well-worn coat. He pulled his hood deeper over his blue eyes and pushed the door open. He was met a wave of musty air, reeking of stale sweat and alcohol. A haze of smoke floated around the ceiling coming from men and women alike inhaling the harsh pipeweed. Laughter, moans and yelling all blended into one sound as it assaulted the Svefra’s ears.

He did his best to control the distain that threatened to show itself on his face. He was here for a job after all. Tyrek moved past scarcely dressed women who lounged on couches covered in black silk. They tittered and flirted with the men that crowded around them. The same black silk that was draped over the couches hung from the walls, creating an aura of mystery and seduction.

Tyrek ignored all of it and made his way to the bar. His boots thumped across the meticulously clean floor as he took in everything around him. He noted a thick purple curtain which seemed to be covering a stairwell as he approached. He filed that bit of information away for later. In the meantime, he had a job to secure.

“Bartender," Tyrek pulled back his hood and tried to catch the man's attention. He rested his hands on the counter,“May I speak to you for a moment?”

OOC: I am continuing a thread which involves the House of Immortal Pleasure. I need a moderator to play the bartender so I can secure employment.
P.S. Did not realize employment was referring to assassinations. If possible, I would just like to gather some information.
