Herein lies the realm of dreams, where dreamers who are scattered all over the world in the physical can come together in the mysterious world of dreams. Remember, unless one is a Dreamwalker, there is no control over dreams. Ever. Anything can happen, and by threading a dream, you are subject to whomever can walk dreams and the whims of Storytellers.

It had taken too long, petch it all, that stupid petching man had just needed to interfere and now this was what was wrought from it. Anna was curled up on the dais, clutching her stomach as her breathing became more and more labored and she could see the black spots further encroaching upon her vision. Her face was a mask of pain as she tightly shut her eyes and gritted her teeth against the overwhelming waves of torment assailing her body and mind. She couldn't think properly, she needed to actually remember to breath it seemed and she felt so very petching cold.

She had known, known that she had needed the other woman and that was why she had done this really. She had possessed her right in the palm of her hands, had possessed that warmth she so needed very close at hand. Yet instead of simply dispatching the man herself, she had given the Dhani a test to prove herself to Rhysol. She supposed she shouldn't feel bitter about that as she did owe the god everything she was. However it was becoming apparent that everything she was quickly was unraveling as the void inside consumed everything.

A shuddering cough escaped her pale and cold lips, what was produced from the cough was ashes. Her entire skin had turned that sickening and unhealthy shade of grey, cold to the touch it was and made her look a far cry from the powerful and arrogant Sorceress that she was. Another cough produced more ashes from her mouth, her eyes opening and searching down the path where the Dhani had gone. It was too late now, she was too far gone for even the other woman to save her at this point.

Her life was measured now in chimes and ticks rather than seasons and years, it was a sobering thing to know. Even now, with the darkness encroaching upon her vision she could see everything with so much more clarity than she had before. Leth's glow truly was a beautiful sight all things considered, wonderful really. Her grey eyes stared up at it, wondering if Rhysol's domain was just as beautiful to look upon. That heretical thought nearly caused a painful snort to escape her nostril. Of course it would be, the domain of her true father was a thing of glory beyond the comprehension of mortals.

When everything finally started to slip away, the darkness finally forcing her into its inky blackness the Sorceress spoke one word in parting. It was the word, a name that defined who she was to the very end and how tightly she clung to her one strand of hope in this world. It was the last dying word, whispered from the quickly cooling lips of a powerful Sorceress and dying upon the breeze soon after her.

"Rhysol..."

With that, Annalisa Marin simply turned to ash and fell apart, consumed from the inside out and leaving nothing but dust on the wind.

OOCWell, that should close it out for me. I had fun threading with both of you, I look forward to the chance to do so again at some point in the future. :D

Blood and Decay

With only a few ticks left, Save plunged her clawed hand into the human boy's chest ripping his heart out as he quickly bled out. She had to get back to the mage. There was no time left. She instantly shifted to her human form and ran. She ran as hard and as fast as her legs could carry her. It seemed like time had slowed down, the distance longer.

"Rhysol..." The faint whisper seemed to almost echo through the now abandoned streets of Nyka. Save ran to where the throne was only to find it empty except for ashes. The mage gone and with her, her only chance of salvation. Save was alone. With an anguished cry, she threw the heart onto the seat, falling to her knees. Tears of anger and despair the only signals that she was still alive. Her own heart seemed to freeze and her blood stopped flowing. All Save could do was wish for a quick death. She didn't want to live anymore. Not without a purpose. Not with everyone she was a horrific monster. A killer. Not without the only person she ever loved. There was nothing left for her. Nothing at all.

Lightly tracing her fingers over the arm of the throne-like structure, Save slowly made her way toward the Aperture. She was going to end it. And on her own terms. The walk toward the Aperture was shorter than the first time she had stumbled upon it. It was ominous as always; Emanating its bizarre aura that kept most nykans away. She closed her eyes and sent up a prayer to and deity that would listen and she leaped to her death hoping it would be quick if not painless.
