IC News travels slowly in Mizahar. Fortunately there is a constant stream of news from around campfires, from caravan to caravan and from merchants to merchants. Within this forum lies the best of the best of this talk. Also, within this forum, OOC news from the staff and players can be found. This forum requires all posts to be 'approved' by a Founder before they are displayed. So if you post within, be patient. Your post did display - it simply will not show to everyone until approved as actual 'news'. In the tradition of the Featured Monthy threads, last months winners finally got me back a review for their pick for this month. This months winners will need to pick a thread for next month. In the mean time, please enjoy A Wild Ride :)

Naia's Review:
'A Wild Ride' has a killer hook and follow through- all three writers quite obviously know their lore and have done a brilliant job of immersing the writer into the world of Mizahar, let alone each of them having a way with word and wit. It begins with a certain horse kelvic, Kaitanu, in the swamplands of Kenash, and soon spirals into a complex little plot with three PCs and their own little wonders intertwining.

Its definitely a thread to look forward to its conclusion!

Aislyn's Review:

Originally, we had quite a few threads on the table for featured thread, but 'A Wild Ride' quickly beat out our other options. All of the PCs involved certainly deserved it, and right off the bat, I was drawn into the story.

The way the original kick-off of the story was portrayed, from the very first post, it was obvious the PCs knew what they were doing- The posts from each character moved from post to post seamlessly, and each character definitely showed they knew their lore well.

The thread starts off in the Ravok swamplands, from Kaitanu's point of view, who's found himself in the unfortunate situation of being stuck between a rock or a hard place- In other words, stuck between being killed by a horse-hijacker, or being severely punished by his master for not completing what he set out to do. This then morphs into a terrifying chase that I'm excited to see the end of.

Great job, all three of you!

My own review definitely pales in comparison to the ever brilliant Aislyn - mostly attributed to a lack of sleep and illness and having no idea what was appropriate - but it doesn't not mean I any less loved the thread! :D

The three of you lovely people did a stunning job, and I certainly look forward to reading the conclusion, and most definitely deserve the award, and I will be keeping an eye out for which ever of your other lovely threads catches my eye in the future! :)

Great job!
