Ferrin followed Jade beside her as he paid close attention on the streets. People were being slightly aggressive as he passed on by. He didn't know why, it was just that day. Probably becuase of the weather and all.
"So, what do you think our little Dina would like?" Asked Ferrin as he did his best to conceal a blush over his face. He's trying to be at his best for being affectionate and caring. He's not really used to looking after children, let alone raise them. He figured that Jade would know more about raising children.
He knew for sure, his mother would likely to know a lot. On the other hand though, he wasn't willing to travel across Mizahar again to ask her about raising children. Of course, he was taught at home, he spent the majority of time with his family then he had with whatever friends he'd make.
He even spent more time with his father. Training to become a squire. Or to be a part in any military. It was the time with his family that he missed dear. But, recalling the experience at the Welcome Home just a few moments ago, he knew how much Dina should have her own family.
He's making a promise to himself. Of course, for Dina as well. He'll take as much care of her as he can, the way his parents did as well. Though, he'll ask Dina if she wants to be a part of the Order, he thinks that she might not want to, but it won't hurt to ask. When she's older, he thought.
They managed to reach their desired destination. The Great Bazaar, an indoor market filled with tons of people. Perhaps two times more than the usual on the streets. Ferrin followed Jade to the stall that housed sheets and blankets, and all other materials that makes up for a bed.
"Jade, l'll take a look at the stalls for toys. I'll be back real soon." Said Ferrin he gave Jade a hug and walked nearest to the stall of toys and knick knacks.
There were many items that were on display as Ferrin examined the stall that housed all sorts of toys. One of which looked like a sling. Not the weapon version if one though. But, a heavily thick metallic sling one that could extract and fold back together again. It was interesting to look at.
"What can I do for ya?" Asjed the man. His features were simple, he was fairly aged, more likely to be in his fifties. The man bore white tipped hair, as the majority if it was more if a darkened hue. He had one tooth sticking out from his upper lip, Ferrin felt a little grossed out about it, but he didn't judge the man.
"That doll over here. What's a reasonable price for it, you say?" Ferrin inquired as he pointed over to it with his index finger. It was hand crafted, made fresh out of wood. It looked exactly like a woman would. There was a match with a man as well, perhaps Dina would love to play with them.
"I'd be asking fer, four gold mizas. The works of the figures took me about a season each." He said proudly. The old man lifted one up carefully as if he had it for years, like it was really fragile.
"Not bad. I figure it looks alright. Better than what I can do myself." Complimented Ferrin. "How much for both of them, and the animals that you've carved as well?" Asked Ferrin with a smile.
"The animals? Those four please, how much?"
"I'll give you a discount. Six golden Mizas for the lot." Said the man humbly.
"That sounds great." Said Ferrin in reply as he took out his coin purse and fished for six golden Mizas. "Here you go." The man nodded and simply grabbed the coins from Ferrins hand. He began wrapping up the wooden figures in a wrap to protect them on its travels and placed them in a bag.
"Have a good rest of your day, my good sir." Said the man cordially. Ferrin nodded.
"You as well." Then he walked over back to Jade. "Jade I got some figures made out of wood that Dina might want to play with. It's not much but-" as Ferrin came back he heard an outrageous deal. One that wasn't even supposed to be as such. "Three golden Mizas for a bed sheet? Are you joking?" Scoffed the Kenashian. "Come on, I made a better deal with that crafter then now." Said Ferrin shockingly.
"Oh well, these have been transported all the way from Riverfall. My good friends. I need some profit don't I?" He asked the two with an arched brow. Ferrin rubbed one if his temples. He held the bag in his other hand to do so.
"Well, that still sounds a little ridiculous. That's over pricing it. Even with the import." Replied Ferrin profoundly as he watched the man's intensity grow higher.
"Well, it's either three golden Mizas or go find yourselves another stall that'll sell bedsheets and pillows." Responded the man a bit sourly.
"Fine, a deal is a deal. Here." Replied Ferrin as he handed the man three gold from his pocket. "Come Jade. Let's head back and go get Dina. She'll love the stuff we got her. We'll get her clothes too. Ready?"
