Garland smiled and continued to eat. "I remember seeing Dina a few times in the orphanage before. I haven't really talked to her before, she seems nice."

Garland looked over to where Dina and the twins were playing. He gave a small smile and continued eating. Phobos had taken a bit of blue crayon and started drawing lines and scribbles.

He was just busy with scribbles and doodles. He was a bit too young to draw anything mentionable. Aneeka started playing with Dina and her toys. Though Aneeka's version of play was throwing things around and sucking on things.

"Sunberthians..." Garland said with a small hint of anger. "They always leave kids here in Syliras, instead of moving here. I forgot, have I told you I was left in the orphanage when I was a baby? Well it turns out I have a sister, and my parents are still alive in Sunberth somewhere. Didn't even bother telling me or something."

Garland sighed and let it go. "Anyway, I'd love to join, the twins have been cooped up for a while now. It'll be a good to show the kids their city. I would suggest going to the docks, but it is time right now, best stick to the stone gardens for now."

Jade allowed the two men to speak while she slipped away. She headed to help Dina get dressed as Phobos continued to draw on the paper. Smiling the blonde took out some brown pants and a light yellow shirt for the child. All of her peach shirts needed to be washed so the pair had to settle for the next best color. True it was not the same lightness as the other, but it would do. Dina ran into the kitchen and hugged Ferrin's leg excited.

"LOOK! I got my yellow one!" Dina said with a big smile her hair going everywhere.

"Sorry she ran off before I could get the brush," Jade said with a laugh walking back into the dining room area.

The little one always became so excited to get one of her new colors to wear.Though her favorite remains the peach one that Jade had yet to wash. The blonde contemplated staying and just catching up with the laundry that was to be done.

"Come here Dina. I need to brush your hair," Jade said gently and got her to sit a little bit back from the table.

The woman set about brushing the child's hair gently. Too much pain would cause her to cry and be fearful of the young drykas. As she brushed her hair the blonde listened to the two men talk. Humming gently the blonde looked down seeing Phobos tapping her leg.

"Are you coming with us, Miss Jade?" Dina asked looking up at Jade.

"I don't know dear. I have to get caught up on the laundry," she said looking at the pile in her and Ferrin's room.

"Really..." Ferrin slowly spoke out. He wasn't told that Garland was an orphan. Ferrin was never an orphan, but he did abandon his family in a way for leaving home unexpectedly. He still felt guilty to this day about doing it. He almost regrets it. "You didn't really tell me. I've came from Kenash. I was born there and raised. I haven't been in an orphanage when I was young. I'm sorry to hear about it Gar. Truly, you really think your parents are in Sunberth? I have been told that my family is scattered about Mizahar. I met my uncle who is a Knight, and my patron. I think I have a cousin. He has the same family mark that I do..." He felt like he was lecturing, but he was just explaining some of his own personal life with Garland.

"Sunberth and Ravok...." Ferrin said slowly like he has never heard them before. "What's the point of all the chaos? Why is there a thing such as good versus bad?" Thought Ferrin aloud. He blushed as he Revali. But, the thoughts were interrupted as Dina came rushing in with excitement. She was happy about her new colored shirts that the two purcashed for her when they've adopted her. "How sweet love. Come here." Ferrin lifted Dina up and placed her gently and comfortably onto his lap. He started bouncing her and she was giggling.

"Okay down you go. Jade needs to brush your hair. You do want to look nice. Right?" Said Ferrin with a smile as he sat her down gently. She nodded quickly and rushed over to Jade.

"Yeah, the Stone Gardens, that seems roughly decent for the young ones to play at." When Dina asked Jade if she wanted to come, Jade responded with something about laundry.

"Jade, you should come with us. You know what, I'll even help you with it when we get back. How does that sound? Four hands are better than two... We should get going if we don't want to get there by dark."

Phobos waddled out with his drawing, and held up to Garland. "Papap! Papap!" The toddler said with an excited smile.

Garland looked down to Phobos and picked him up. He looked at Phobos' drawing. It was a mess of lines and color, one vaguely resembles Garland with his armor, it was more like a large squibble of blue.

Garland smiled and gave a kiss on Phobos' cheek. He giggled and return the kiss back to Garland's cheek. Phobos had become very smart, Catherine must have been reading him some bedtime stories or something.

Aneeka on the other hand was busy stacking building blocks on top of each other and when she felt it was high enough, she would knock it down and giggle at her wanton destruction.

"Aneeka, come here." Garland called out, and the toddler stood up and waddled over to Garland. She stared at him with her large blue eyes and sat down by his feet.

She then threw a wooden block she was carrying at him. Garland just sighed as the block hit him in the head and it bounced off to the side. Aneeka giggled and wanted to reach for the block.

Garland grabbed Aneeka and held her to his chest. Aneeka started slapping Garland's face with her tiny baby hands, smiling and giggling all the way. "She does this a lot, a ball of energy."

"Phobos is fine, I may need some help with Aneeka though, gotta make sure she doesn't knock down any of the stones in the gardens." He looked down to Aneeka and she took the opportunity and jammed her hand into Garland's nose.

"Ahhh!" Garland yelled, still softly so not to startle the twins, but he was caught off guard.

Phobos gently slapped Aneeka's hand out of Garland's nostrils. Aneeka looked at Phobos and started pulling at his hair.

Phobos returned by pinching Aneeka.

Soon enough, the twins were crying, after their fight. Garland sighed and looked over to Ferrin and Jade. "This is what I have to put up with." Garland stood up and started cradling the twins in his arms, moving around the room, like a slow dance.

The twins were still sniffling, but they stopped crying, they just watched and felt the movement. The twins looked at each other and back to Garland and simply hugged him tight.

"Okay okay. You need to brush your hair next," Jade said with a smile.

Jade walked over get Ferrin's bowl with a smile and gently ran her hand through his messy hair. She took Garland's empty bowl and cleaned them before making the kids something to eat. The soft thuds of blocks falling to the ground and laughter made the blonde half smile at peace. A loud house, giggles, and laughter made her feel right at home. In time she hopes that Ferrin and her's relationship would move to the next stage. It was nice to actually have it out in the open. Though lately the woman was beginning to feel like Ferrin was ashamed of her. Like her lack of knowledge when it came to writing and reading embarrassing. Shaking her head gently she sat the bowl in front of where Garland was sitting and the other before Dina.

"Careful dear it's hot. Eat so that we can go to the gardens," Jade said with a smile and made her a small glass of milk, "don't worry Gar we will help keep her out of trouble."

The woman watched him do the little jig with the babies as they finally settled down. Motioning him over to the table the woman moved allowing him and the kids to sit once more. Sitting at the end of the table across from Ferrin the woman watched as Dina ate. The young girl grabbed her cup with both hands and drank the orange juice before putting it back down. Jade crossed her legs watching contently listening to everyone.

Image Ferrin blushed as Jade ran her hand through his curls. It was gentle, the feeling of her hand upon his head was more mixed than stable. Ferrin knew that they'll be good together Jade and him. He just knew. No one could separate the two of them through all of the things that the couple had been through. Not in a million years.

Ferrin wanted to know more about the Drykas people. He wanted to know what all of the personal things that they do were like. Maybe it'd make Jade feel at home. Hopefully, Ferrin could visit this moving tent city. One day. But, now, they are making a family, and Ferrin can't leave Syliras until after he finishes his knighting quest. Whenever he gets one. Soon he just hopes.

"It's alright Garland. Uncle Ferrin will show them to be careful around the stones." Chimed Ferrin with a pleasing smile. One that usually intends it to be assuring. Dina sat where Garland had once did. He went over to watch Phobos and Aneeka. Ferrin lightly chuckled when the twins were playing around with their dad.

"As long as they know who's their dad. You'll be fine Gar. It'll take time." Said Ferrin lightly. He remembered his younger brother, Durin. Ferrin somee times grew angry of the way he acted some times. Though, eventually he came around and realized that Durin was only young.

Ferrin walked over to Jade after sitting up and gave her a light massage over the shoulders. "Are you tensed? What's wrong Jade?" Asked Ferrin lightly. He figured something was up. He turned to face Garland after he massaged Jade's shoulders.

"Once Dina finishes her meal, we can head on out. If you don't mind waiting. Perhaps, during the mean time; have the twins eaten yet? They might be hungry still. I can give them a bowl if you'd like?"

"Yeah Ferrin, they haven't eaten yet, and they do get hungry very quickly." Garland smiled and gave a small kiss to the twins and waited for Ferrin to bring another bowl for the twins. "Not too much Ferrin, these two don't eat a lot."

Garland sat down on one of the chairs and placed the twins on his lap. They knew not to move around too much while sitting there unless they wanted to fall.

Garland took the spoon and started feeding the two, they still drank milk of course, but they do enjoy the soft foods from time to time. The two seemed to enjoy it. Of course, babbling and getting bits of food on the table and on Garland's hand.

Garland was glad he bought a few tissues and napkins to clean up the twins with. Aneeka was already covered with soup, and Phobos hand splashed the food all over the table.

After eating Garland got some water and washed the twins of the food, they were ready to leave for the park. The twins did enjoy going outside from time to time, but they really didn't like the main road, it was too crowded and smelled horrible.

The group started walking towards the gardens, already the air seemed fresher and nicer than the main roads. The twins were busy looking around and trying to touch things that were out of reach.

"So how did you two meet, and when's the wedding?" He asked, hoping to make the Ferrin and Jade blush.

The blonde allowed him to massage her shoulders with a peaceful sigh. A part of her wanted to tell him the truth about how she felt, but then a different part kicked in screaming to not tell him. The young girl was scared that if she spoke too open about things such as him playing their relationship off so much, he would kick her and Dina out. Her stubbornness told her how stupid of a fear it was, but it had happened with her elder sister and her now ex-fiance. Pulling her mind back into her body instead of it running away the woman gently put her hand on his in a reassuring way.

"I am fine. Just getting used to having so much to do now is all," Jade said with a soft smile.

She helped Dina get cleaned up before cleaning the bowl and allowing the pot of now gone food to soak some. It would not be hard to currently wash should she have the time. Yet for now a little water to keep everything loose would have to do. Wiping up the table after Garland feeds the twins Jade grabs her key to the door and pulls on her boots. Once ready she takes Dina's hand and walks with the pair happy. After several chimes the air was becoming much cleaner and almost clearer. Dina saw the rocks quickly releasing Ferrin and Jade's hands running ahead. Jade found herself blushing hearing Garland ask about the pair marrying.

"Shortly after I arrived Ferrin took me in off the streets actually. You would have to ask Ferrin about a wedding," Jade said with a soft blush.

Image"We met during the fall. We met here actually; the Stone Gardens. As Jade said, I've taken her in. I've figured that it was the right thing to do. I guess now, it is." He said with a warm smile and a nod over to Jade. "The wedding..." Croaked Ferrin. If it was Garland's intention to make him blush, it worked. "That's questionable... It's still on the menu though." Responded Ferrin with another blush.

It wasn't a blush of being embarrassed or anything of the sort, no. Ferrin just has a sense of direction that that is the right thing to do.

It was a good thing that Dina ran ahead of them. Though, Ferrin wondered what she'll think of the two marrying. Would she call them mom and dad then? He wondered.

"Garland, I trust you enough. You'd be the best man." Chimed Ferrin. In response to making him blush and a possible tease. "We can have the kids be the flower girls and boy?!" Said Ferrin with a smile that was starting to appear across his face.

"Garland, when are you going to find yourself a suitable match?"

It seemed like the two were getting along nicely, Garland couldn't wait to see the wedding, though he wouldn't want to speak in front of a crowd like that one time with Sayana.

Though as soon as they walked into the Stone Gardens proper, Aneeka saw the big stones set as memorials for the fallen knights and people that have given their lives for the city or it's people. Some towered over her, others were as tall as she was.

She wanted to see them fall like dominos! She reached towards one of them, urging Garland to carry her over to a rather large rock to try and topple it over. Luckily for the rocks and Garland, these large stones were placed in the ground, so they couldn't be easily toppled, although the little ones though were easier to knock down.

He didn't like putting the twins on the ground when they're outside, these two weren't really all that fast when they waddle around, but he can't keep an eye on both of them.

He was the overprotective parent instead of the parent left home and never came back type. Although Ferrin and Jade were helping him watch Aneeka, so he thought that it would be alright to let the two roam.

Garland let the two down on the ground, despite how fast they've grown, they were still babies, they occasionally need support to get up and walk on difficult terrain.

They would grab Garland's pants and hold on while he took slow steps for them to get use to the ground. The ground was a bit grassy, and the few tall strands of grass would tickle the children's legs.

The two soon enough let go of Garland's pants and started walking on their own, much slower than when they waddled in Ferrin's home. There were a few times Garland had to catch them before they feel, and when they do fall, they get back up by Garland's pants.

These twins learn fast, barely a year old and already trying to walk on their own.
