Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

Skyard laughed alongside his bond-mate; even he had a sense of humor. She thought that it was strange that he wanted to read the moment that they finished their physical encounter. However, what she did not know was that the Kelvic had other plans today. He was quite disinterested in reading, and thought to himself “Why would I read with you in the library right along with me? That is not my plan.” as he continued to chuckle away at her response. He did not hesitate to grasp hold of his beloveds hand, and lead the way to the library. He made sure that he walked at a rather slow pace, whilst the digits of his right hands fingers interlocked with that of her left hand. Skyard wanted to walk side by side with her, and enjoy every single blissful moment he had with her. The Lion enjoyed simply observing her, and paying attention to the small details of her facial features.

He wanted to strike up a conversation with her, but he knew in the back of his mind that silence was for the best. Skyard could enjoy her company without even exchanging a single word with her; her presence alone was enough to keep him interested. Perhaps it was her beautiful hair that had a tendency to move alongside the wind, or maybe those stunning eyes of hers that made her so amazing.

Yet, he knew that even if she were to lose all of her external beauty in a day that she would still be special to him. The Lion finally parted his lips and spoke words of challenge to his lover “ I am not taking you the Library to read. We're going to have some fun.. This afternoon between you and I has only just begun, and I believe being a bit daring is always interesting. We're going to play a game once we arrive at the Library.”

A multitude of ideas flooded his thoughts; the first rule of creating a game was having the ability to set rules. Rules that were crucial to how the game would be played, and they could not be too restrictive. However, if the rules were used to make the game more fun then he has already accomplished two goals at the same time. “The rules of the game are simple.. The first rule is to be as quiet as possible, and the second rule is not to get caught it is that simple.” Skyard spoke and began to increase the speed of the walk.

He certainly did plan to make the day interesting, and intended to make her afternoon as amazing as possible. The breezes were somewhat cool, but Syna shone bright in the skies above and warmth was maintained to some degree. The contrast of dark leather upon his pale skin in combination with the suns light gave him a bit of a stranger appearance. Immediately after their moment of physical intimacy he was left wanting more, and still felt an undying lust for his beloved.

A wave of relief washed over her. No reading. Good, she thought with a pleased exhale. The notion of a library expedition still felt silly though. If they weren't there to enjoy the literature, what else were they going to do? Based on her sole experience with a library, there was no way the Myrian could conceive having any kind of fun in the great buildings that housed books. Yet Skyard promised her a daring game and thus the intrigue was enough that she willingly came along.

The lion Kelvic wasted no time getting down to structuring his enigmatic game as they walked. The first rule was unfortunately of the boring variety. Kaie must've been shushed half a hundred times before she finally sent the librarian a blatantly threatening stare. She very much preferred the world of fighting pits and sparring arenas, anywhere swords were allowed to sing and shyke talk was a given. However, it was Skyard's second rule that had the Myrian cocking her head with bewilderment. The naive words slipped from her lips before she had thought to stop them.

"Not to get caught? Not to get caught doing what?" she asked him with furrowed brow. His vague mysteriousness made her feel as though he didn't plan on letting her know exactly what he had in mind. Another surprise. Would she like this one as much as the first? Are we going to steal from the library? A book? What kind of game is that? Her attempts at figuring out the new game were fruitless and she knew it. Kaie was just going to have to wait and see exactly what kind of trouble her lover was itching to get them into.

It wasn't long until they finally reached their destination. The bondmates pushed their way through the doors and were immediately greeted by the plethora of tomes on their other side. They lined the walls, crowded the shelves, and spread the scent of pressed parchment quietly throughout their shelter. Akalak sat in various spots. Some sat pensively at desks, others curled up in peaceful corners with their heads buried behind small, hard-covered walls. If there was any whispers occurring in Tukant, they were so subtle they never reached the pair's ears by the entrance.

"So how does your game go?"

Skyard simply shook his head in response to her question; he was not about to spoil the fun by spilling the answer. However, when they had finally arrived at their intended location the games began with a simple sentence. “Quickly, come over here beautiful.” The Kelvic demanded as he grasped hold of her right hand, and made a quick analysis of the area. The beautiful and incredibly tall book cases, and the daylight that pierced through the windows and lit the vicinity up. Yet, Skyard made a brief observation as it was always something noticeable. “Perhaps where light is there must also be darkness. Every single time I see light I also see darkness somewhere in that area... With that little thought in mind perhaps we can find an area that was not so open.” The Kelvic thought to himself.

He continued to look on with determination in his eyes, and suddenly he looked toward a corner. He noticed that this particular area had a window on the opposite side. As a result of the window being at such a great distance darkness practically blanketed that small space. Yet, he knew that if someone approached closely enough they would clearly see Skyard and his beloved woman. He no longer cared whether or not they were spotted, and made the first move guiding her toward the darkened corner. The moment that they reached the location he did not hesitate to become aggressive with her.

Skyard kissed her lips multiple times with purpose, and gently nibbled away at her bottom lip. Suddenly he uplifted her and sat her down upon the top of one of the shorter bookshelves. This particular section of the library did not seem to be visited often at all, and he broke the kiss for a moment. Skyard raised his index finger and placed it up against his lips; in order to warn her that she should be very quiet.

The Kelvic spoke to his beloved woman in a soft and somewhat hushed tone in order to remain hidden. “This is a game that we have not played before, but rest assured I will make sure that you enjoy each and every moment of it. I am going to do everything in my power to make sure that this exceeds any physical pleasure you have ever experienced before. These mere moments are going to be the most amazing you will ever feel.” He spoke as the process of teasing her began, and he did not hesitate to grasp hold of her thighs. The way that he caressed her with his fingertips alone; she had not yet seen everything that he could do for her while they made love. However, today was the day that he planned to try out theoretical positions that he had never used before.

He did not want to take her as he pleased, and in this case he chose to be gentle. Skyard brought forth his cranial structure for a moment, and placed his forehead against her own in a loving fashion. Skyard wanted to be in control, and he absolutely enjoyed the feeling of having to remain hidden in plain sight. He began to move on and kiss away at the flesh of his beloved Kaies windpipe, and gently tug away at her flesh with his teeth.

Surely the lion Kelvic was enjoying every tick in which he kept his Myrian lover decidedly in the dark. With affectionate words he led her through the library in a way that left her assuming he knew his way around. They slipped between the bookshelves that towered over them like thieves through a Sunberth alley. The destination Skyard had chosen was simple with lackluster. It was merely a dim corner just out of nearby window light that a veil of shadows could wrap around them like a shroud. Kaie deduced this strange choice was the starting point for the mysterious game with such simple rules. He still hadn't explained the finer details of it to her. Her brow furrowed a bit. How am I supposed to play when he won't tell me exactly what we're doing here?

Skyard shut up her before she could speak with a well-timed kiss. The possessiveness of the lion shined through his unimposing human stature as he set upon her. Her lips moved in time with his, eyes closed while she felt his teeth sink into the tender flesh of her lower lip. Deliberate hands seized her waist and placed her atop a lower piece of furniture. Then, just like that, his aggression ceased when he broke their kiss and placed a finger upon her lips. Somehow she was more confused then than ever before. Her lover would've noticed that sentiment all over her expression. It seemed as though he might finally enlighten her.

"I am going to do everything in my power to make sure that this exceeds any physical pleasure you have ever experienced before."

Kaie blinked. The promise was not a light one, and quite a tall order. It seemed as though surpassing their own sexual history within a bell or so would be impossible. Their romps were always adventurous, challenging, and full of an ecstasy she once believed to be unreachable compared to experiences with previous partners. There existed not a glimmer of doubt in his unwavering gaze. The Myrian woman glanced about, the reality and true meaning of his game becoming known in an instant. Skyard hadn't truly thought of the library after their earlier fun for intellectual purposes. He'd brought her here with the intention of playing-out a risky fantasy that would test their mind, body, and resolve. The stakes to be had here were higher than even those at the beach.

While Kaie experienced her epiphany, Skyard had already commenced the game. The pads of his fingertips seized the flesh of her thighs with primitive purpose, starting by teasing her with simple touch. She welcomed her inamorato's lips to her throat by lifting and turning her head. After a few ticks her eyes opened to glance about. For the most part, it appeared no one at all had wandered into their section of the silent library. Good. Her legs wrapped around him and locked together at the ankles. Then, with a short but firm tug, the Myrian reeled him in closer. Her lips lingered at his ear while his explored her windpipe. "I don't think your game rules are as simple as you thought," she mused quietly. The fingertips of one of her hands waltzed slowly along the outside of his thigh over his clothes. Her bottom lip teased against his ear lobe. "We've never been good at quiet."

Her teeth sunk coquettishly into his flesh and gave his ear a gentle tug. Her other hand moved up toward his hair with intent to liberate him from attending her neck. A voice echoed. Amber eyes snapped up from the pale, vulnerable flesh of her paramour. Shyke. The hand that had been teasing down at his hips procured a tome from the shelf Skyard had seated her upon. Legs unwrapped from his body and she swiftly created comfortable space between them by leaning back. Kaie flipped open the book to a random page full of incoherent ramblings and poorly faked a pensive expression. Sure enough an Akalak librarian emerged close by from one of the shelf alleyways beside a visitor inquiring something in Tukant.

He approached the pair's dark corner with a neutral expression. The Myrian wasn't a good enough actress to feign not noticing his presence. At first he addressed them in Tukant with a strange expression, but registering the blank face of the exotic woman, he switched to Common instead. "Ah, ironic. This gentleman here was just asking me to retrieve that very book for him," Zander stated with a gesture to the well-dressed Akalak scholar beside him. "Interesting read, is it not?" Kaie looked toward Skyard before nodding. "Although I do suspect it's much harder to read when you're holding it upside down." Absolutely exposed, she knew not what else to do than to hold the book out toward him, hoping that would be the end of his accusations. Skyard's game might've been the most challenging one she'd ever played.

The Kelvic began to lose himself in her loving embrace; he could only describe her touch as magnificent. While he coated her throat with his affections, she took hold of his hair and sent a chill up his spine. Just as swiftly as their encounter began; it was interrupted by what sounded like a masculine voice. At first he spoke in a language that the Lion failed to understand. With the momentary distraction Skyard pulled away from his inamorata, and turned his head toward the voice only to lay eyes upon an Akalak. Skyard found his appearance to be unusual compared to the remainder of his kin; this one lacked the muscle tone commonly found among Akalaks. Perhaps he was one of the more intellectual individuals of his kind assuming that they existed.

Skyard thought to tell the man to petch off, and did not want to engage in any conversation with him. The library was a quiet place, or so he thought before the man came barging over with his roaring voice. The Kelvic did not hesitate to grasp hold of the book from Kaies hand, and toss it over to the Akalak. He did not have to speak in order to give the Akalak a vile look. The mysterious figure seemed to be an employee, but he could obviously sense the threat level that came from Skyard. The Kelvic had never bothered to make himself a threat, and attempt to intimidate anyone before. Yet, in this particular instance he would need to become more aware of his surroundings. If they were to be caught petching in public the consequences could be horrifying.

The Akalak simply spoke “thank you” before he swiftly walked off in the opposite direction of the darker area. As a result of him leaving Skyard returned to the task at hand, and wasted no time making use of his fingertips. He did not hesitate to play with her quim, and insert his index finger whilst he kissed her lips. “I can only hope that neither of us makes a noise. Anyone in the area would hear it with no problem, the good thing is that we are very hard to see.” Skyards mind continued to race as he began to increase the pace of thrusts. He could hear a somewhat soft sound exiting the area where he inserted his finger; which sounded comparable to minor splashes of liquid.

Although he was focused on pleasing his woman; he was also paying close attention to the surrounding area. Although he was not the best at detecting people nearby he listened closely for foot-steps or perhaps breathing. The last thing that he wanted to do was give away their location to another individual. He absolutely hated the thought of a possibility of being interrupted once they are beyond foreplay. In a predatory fashion he broke their series of kisses yet again in order to run his tongue along the side of her neck. He wanted to make sure that they had no visitors, but he made the decision to continue listening for anyone who might approach.

“The next time anyone makes a move.. I will probably take her over there.. I see it now.” Skyard thought to himself as he made note of a small door located a few paces away from the shelf he had kaie rest atop of.

Humiliation over, Kaie was quickly distracted from her previous folly by handsy lover. A deep exhale breathed through her nose. There was no stilling the beat of her heart in her chest. His lips were too close to her ear. His whisper was too warm against her flesh. Her body was nearly conditioned to react to his very touch.

As independent of a woman as she had always been, the bond and its intimacy had turned her into naught but a puppet on a string. She was chained to his sinister, tantalizing will. His kiss upon her lips was the sweetest poison she'd ever tasted. Skyard could've made Kaie do nearly anything right then so long as it came with promise of another deadly hit.

Had she never been socialized over the course of so many years to the norms of barbarian life, the primitive woman would've broken all the rules of courteous library behavior. Books thrown. Shelves knocked over. The eerily silent building would've instead been filled with the echoes of their love, and the Myrian couldn't have cared what repercussions such an undertaking might bring so long as it came packaged with sure ecstasy prior to consequence. The tongue of her lover found her neck again. Her skin turned to goose flesh. The woman turned back to doing what she intended to do before the librarian so rudely interrupted their antics.

Her left hand roughly gave his hair a tug so that his chin might be forced up, allowing the Myrian to return his favors. The woman moved upon him with hungry vigor. Lips moved aggressively along the line of his jaw, nibbles trailed down his throat, giving no pause until attention was granted to the base of his throat. The lion was threatening to start something that neither of them was very good at stopping.

With their loss of self control looming ahead like a dark, ominous cloud rolling over a city, Kaie couldn't deny the briefest of thoughts that warned of the impossibility of the game they had started.

Skyard was taken by surprise the moment she gave his hair a tug, and forced his head backward. He gasped for air whilst she began a tease of her own, and began to nibble away at his flesh. Every single kiss she delivered to his flesh felt like a wave of heat which spread further across his body. The Lion felt her lust practically scorch the bookshelf which she rested upon. For the moment Skyard paid absolutely no attention to his surroundings, and did not care to. The feeling of her touch against his flesh, combined with the burning sensation which followed her affections brought them far beyond the point of turn. The Sun appeared to shift positions, and the veil of darkness which covered them only grew darker. He seized the opportunity to take her where she rested, and used his opposite hand which hadn't been busy working away at her quim to unbutton her vest.

Skyard inserted a second finger inside of her, and began to curve them upward slightly while he continued thrusting away. His opposed hand found itself teasing away at her right breast, and his thumb moved in circular motions atop her teat. She was not about to out compete him, and he would make sure that her pleasure was his first priority. The sounds that they made began to become somewhat distracting to the library-goers but, they were not visible unless someone were to walk directly into the corner they rested in.

Heads turned as the sound of continuous flesh colliding echoed through the vicinity at a somewhat audible level. The Lions breathing began to become heavy, and more slow-paced as his heart hammered away beneath his chest cavity. Skyard could not wait to feel the warmth of her innards again; to find shelter within his bond-mate and connect with her both externally and internally again. Words could not describe the feeling of nirvana that he experienced during their spontaneous love making. She was far more addicting than any drug he knew to exist, and he could not bare to be separated from her.

She belonged to him, and the moment their bond had been forged he agreed to become hers. Skyard certainly would not pass up an opportunity to explore her body in each and every way possible. He turned his head sharply in order to loose her grip upon his hair, and knelt down immediately. The Lion extended his tongue, and made sure that he started at the most sensitive part of her possible. His tongue trailed along the flesh of her inner thigh next to her womanhood, and he began to make his way up to his beloveds windpipe slowly.

He stopped for a moment to speak softly, and although he did not care if they were caught he wanted to make sure that he notified her. “To our left there is a room, if they get too close we can go there and we won't have to be quiet, but for now lets have as much fun as we can my love.” He concluded and began again with his journey along her flesh. He did not hesitate to gently bite and tug away at the flesh near her navel; followed by a bit of suction on the area in order to leave behind a mark.

It was a danger to close her eyes. When the world went dark, her lover was everywhere at once. Stimulating her body, breathing hot on her neck to send a chill across her flesh, liberating her breasts from their leather prison for their mutual pleasure. The emotions he shared with her through their bond made the encounter beyond the significance of pure physical satisfaction. Guided by prowess and affirmations he could innately pick up from her, Kaie didn't have to show him what to do.

Her lover further indulged himself with his hands between her legs. Another slipped between the slit of her opened vest, drawing a teasing circle to drive her deeper into madness. The Myrian woman tossed her head back and kept noise of praise at bay. If someone had the unfortunate luck of interrupting them as the librarian had moments before, she might've killed them for making it all stop.

I want you.

His was the type of love to pleasure her pain away. Each movement he made only left her starving for more. Her hips gyrated in rhythm with his motions. Skyard liberated himself from her grip and dipped down low to put his tongue to use. The ultimate tease, he never pleasured the part of her that had always welcomed him so warmly. His retracing of steps was slow and cruelly calculated. Before long he was right back where he had started, but paused to breathe a foreshadowing into her ear.

A room. Kaie's amber eyes flashed open to find the room to their left. A deep exhale left her. Open. Unoccupied. Alone. Her eyes nearly glazed over with desire. The game was on. The stakes were high. But the Myrian had been restrained as long as she could muster the will to remain where she had been placed. She wanted what she wanted. Now. Suppressing another sound as he buried his head in her torso, she waited to feel the relief from his teeth before she pushed him back as she was wont to do. She quietly dismounted the short shelf into the space she'd created between them. Then she closed it.

Lips pressed aggressively to his. One hand cupped the back of his neck, pulling him in while the other rested on his waist. Her vest was open. Someone could've seen by the way the pair had neglected to constantly survey their surroundings. She didn't care. Kaie turned him and moved the hand on his waist to his chest, pushing him to that door as her tongue slipped between his lips.

In a few paces she had him backed up like an animal against the door. "Don't you think it would be so much more fun on the other side?" She teased him, placing her body against his to his the hands slipping past the waistband of his pants.

He could hardly breathe as his beloved took him by storm, and created distance between them. The Kelvic could sense her hunger and lust for him. The Library around them seemed to fade away as if it were an insignificant fraction of their world. The Lion suddenly felt her tongue slip in between his lips, and caress his own for a moment. She had left him completely breathless with a single kiss, but the moment her hand slipped beyond his waistband his body went limp for a moment. Skyard found himself backed into a wall before he had time to react she took control of the situation. The Kelvic opened the door immediately, and wrapped his opposite arm around his lovers waist. He agreed with her, and their intimacy could be enjoyed further without the restrictions of worrying about being heard.

The Kelvic began to gently remove her loincloth all together; he wanted to see the entirety of her body. Every single inch of her mattered to him, from her beautiful eyes, her flowing hair, and her lovely bust, to her incredibly round and thick rump. The moment he managed to regain his balance he grasped hold of her loincloth, and did not hesitate to snatch it straight down her thighs. Skyard was tempted to tear the loincloth off of her body, but he did not want to destroy anymore of her belongings after he had already broken her spear.

The only thing he wanted to do at this point was make her body quiver as if she were in freezing cold temperatures. “I agree my love.” Skyard spoke as he closed the door behind them whilst they entered the room, and kissed her lips more gently than he ever had before. Skyard held his breath as he smothered her in his affections slowly, but steadily. The Kelvic wanted to feel her body pressed up against his; her warmth was unparalleled, as was her ability to please him like no other woman could. Yet, all that time he spent with her resting atop the bookshelf ; the pair managed to build up quite a bit of tension. Like a fire left to run wild among Trees; nothing could stop the two once they engaged in their antics.

“Now, I am going to make you scream my name until nightfall.” He whispered in her ear as he proceeded to nibble on her earlobe, and the arm that once coiled around her waist began to lower. Subconsciously he grasped hold of her rump, and began the process of removing her vest as well in order to completely expose his beloved woman to him.

The air in the room thickened, and his pattern of breathing changed yet again; his heart raced, and his mind became an empty vessel. All that mattered to him now was how she would react to his advances; he took a moment and buried his visage in the right side of her neck, and left a mark there in the same fashion that he did near her navel.

Awakening in passion [Kaie]

For a pair of lovers who had already taken to holing themselves up in a bedroom in the wake of a freshly blossomed romance, the idea of a covert library romp was nothing short of enthralling. The forbidden nature of the public act alone was enough to send their hearts racing at the very least. Nonetheless, it had seemed both parties had extended beyond that of their limits. In a tick the door was swinging open behind Skyard to reveal the empty study. With her lover's arm around her waist, Kaie was quickly skirted within the room. She hardly had the time or wits about her to send the door closed with her foot before her bondmate set to removing her loincloth. There were few moments since they began that his lips lingered too long from hers.

His kisses were gentle, more tender than she had ever remembered them. Soft. Warm. Strange was it that this tenderness drove her more mad than anticipated. Then his whispers were in her ear and his teeth testing her flesh. Her conscious mind had slipped. There existed no meaningful thoughts if one had the ability to read them. Smothering them was the raw emotion that rendered her little more than a lustful animal. Skyard's hand slipped beyond her lower back and her body gave a sinful shudder as she felt the leather slipping clean from her shoulders. If it made a sound when it hit the floor, the Myrian woman was unaware of it. A gentle sound slipped past her lips. Her lover was buried in her neck again, causing her to turn her head like a victim submitting to the fatal intentions of an insatiable beast. Could he feel the flush of her skin or the pulse in her veins wherever his lips touched?

Her fingers set to liberating him from his own top while she enjoyed his touch. It was a tedious process, but one she enjoyed as she pulled the clothing up over his head to free his bare chest. The top was discarded with a haphazard toss over her shoulder. The Myrian bit her lip, amber eyes roving over the planes of his body without care for the obvious desire he might've spied in her gaze. For in the next moment she was moving again. Turning around suddenly, her arms outstretched over the ancient study desk to sweep away the various literature and loose papers that occupied its surface. A symphony of displaced parchment erupted followed by not-so-subtle thuds as hard covers reached the floor.

Kaie turned back to her Kelvic bondmate and pressed her body and lips to his. She quickly found she could not continue his tempo of slow, soft kisses he'd offered her before. Instead her primitive, selfish mind took the controls. A hand slipped behind his waistband and seized him assertively below. Her tongue emerged to run along the length of her bottom lip while her other hand drew an uneven line down the length of his torso. "Until nightfall...you think you'll last that long?" She spun him in place and forced him back with both hands onto the surface of the cleared desk in one swift movement. Yet she did not let him linger there alone on his back for long.

In the next tick her body was atop him, breasts pressed to his torso when she first found his lips again. Kaie pulled back with a smirk before she slunk back down along his length. Her tongue swirled about one of his nipples, exploring downward in alternation with kisses until met with the obstacle of more clothing. That challenge was met with the Myrian's teeth, which pulled loose the strings of his pants before her hands roughly pulled them down enough to liberate his manhood.

She let her fingertips rest on either side of his exposed hips. That sinister, lustful smirk reappeared on her lips when her eyes glanced up to find his. Slowly, the pads of her fingers danced a rhythm against his skin lower, lower, until they were teasing against his inner thigh and hovering around what he was surely begging her to touch. A slender brow arched in his direction. "Quiet," Kaie warned him while she conceived just what she wanted to do to him next. "We're in a library." Then her body dipped to take him in her mouth once more.

For a couple chimes she wished him no more burden in the world than the wonder of how he might keep affirmations of pleasure from reaching the library-goers beyond the door. In this undertaking the Myrian was content to take her time. Her tongue flicked and swirled about his length with focus placed on his place of greater sensitivity, which at times was acquainted with the back of her throat. Kaie withdrew from him, but the warmth of her tongue quickly licking up his abdomen was surely a non-verbal message that her teasing for the day was only just beginning.
