Thump! The warrior barely even registered the blunt blow to his head. All it was to him was a flailing limb, an accidental hit. The stinging was simply an... unwanted side-effect of said accidental collision. As such, he carried through his motions normally. He had felt worst pain than the stinging of, to put it bluntly, a poorly executed strike to the head. Shrugging off the small amounts of pain she had inflicted upon him was nothing to the warrior who had seen battle, to the warrior whom had been scarred by on multiple occasions. "It's fine, Edalene, truly," he said with a hearty laugh, smiling at the feeling of her hand against his forehead. Said smile shifted into a small frown when she drew it away, returning it to her side with a somewhat awkward glance. "Once again, Edalene, I can't stress how fine I am," Kayiri announced simply when she insisted on apologizing yet again, chuckling quietly.
It was at that point that he led her outside of the Pavilion, walking with a spring in his step. "But of course," he said simply in response. It was at that point that he motioned to the mare positioned in front of the wooden platform that made the Pavilion. "I did, after all, prepare her for just such an occasion," Kayiri then said, smiling proudly at his work. A curious tilt and turn of his head found her big, open eyes, the ones that she made when she possessed a question that she was wording in her mind. Silently, he watched her, awaiting the words. Then, she spoke them, asking if she could meet his beloved Strider. "But of course. I would have it no other way," he said. At that point, he hopped off of the wooden platform of the Pavilion, landing on the ground beneath them. A quick turn of his feet turned him around, as his hand found its way back into hers, aiding her down from the moving platform, onto the solid ground beneath them. An eager tug dragged her up to the mare's beautiful head, where he sighed softly, looking at her eyes as she focused on them both.
"Hello there, gorgeous," he whispered softly, stroking her mane. "Say hello to Edalene. She wanted to meet you," Kayiri then added in. "Say hi, Edalene," he then said softly, backing off slightly to let the two get introductions out of the way. Or, well, as much introduction as one could have with an animal that didn't respond. With a sharp breath through her nose, she nuzzled Edalene's shoulder softly, which brought forth a quiet chuckle from Kayiri. "She likes you!" he declared proudly, striding back over to the pair, tossing a leg up and over Serenity's back. His right hand extended to Edalene, while a curious tilt of his head beckoned for her to get onto his horse with him, so he could take her to her own mount. When she took his hand in hers once more, hefting herself up onto his mare with his help, a quick squeeze of her flanks brought them both to a quick trot, while he steered with his legs, guiding the horse to the herd that roamed freely around the ever-mobile Pavilion. Upon their arrival, he dismounted, helping her off of the back of his horse, and began looking around curiously for the horse she was going to ride.
"Is that the one you prepared earlier?" he asked, pointing to a horse that was already groomed, bearing a yvas upon its back. He strode up to it calmly, examining it, nodding silently as he did so. "I believe that Serenity and her shall make a fine sight together, riding through the streets in tandem," he then declared, looking over at her, smiling warmly at her. A muscular arm wrapped its way around her shoulders, pulling her close to him in a quick, but tight, embrace. "Do you need help, or shall we set off?" he asked curiously, ever the gentleman, ever offering assistance, even if it might not be needed in the slightest. One could never be certain.
