(OOC: sorry this was so late!)

Although he was thoroughly annoyed by the slurring fool more and more, he could concede that he was if nothing else interesting. He was certainly taken aback when he saw the supposed crazy man's eyes shift into a separate color. He had a quick moment of nervousness at the prospect that he might've angered a crazy man. In his experience that was very rarely a good move, especially when he was in a completely foreign land isolated from the rest of the world and surrounded by cold. He was relieved then, to see the crazy man just simply lose interest in him and shrug him off. He felt a little guilty, it seemed like this man was actually trying to engage him and maybe he was acting too much like an ass. Maybe if it wasn't so damn cold he'd be less, pardon the pun, frigid.

He perked up a bit when Eisi finally returned and he could see quite clearly that whatever was in her drink was effecting her quite a bit. It bought a small grin to his eyes seeing her somewhat off, drunk girls were always funny to him. Like Darren, Eisi also asked him about his story that was interrupted. At this point, however, Xelin was not very interested in himself.

"Actually, I was wondering you two could tell me more about this place, Avanthal. My story is fairly standard, just another bard along the lonely roads. What about you two? Do you know each other well?"

A hand-flipper-thing was shoved in Darren's face as Eisi finally reached the correct table. Any thoughts of intimidating Xelin soon disappeared as revolting thoughts about the scaled hand came on his face. If he took time to realize it wasn't so bad he would have been able to continue trying acting all manly in front of Eisi, but he didn't and he gave out a short cry before leaning back from the table. Though he might have leaned in a bit too far. Darren lost his balance on his seat and fell to the floor as Eisi gave Xelin a frumpy smile. "Whoa!" His chair slipped behind him as he flailed trying to grab unto anything. Falling back he collapsed into a wandering patron who fell alongside him. "Sorry! Sorry!" he stammered as he groggily rose to his feet.

He chanced bowing a sorry to a man as he rose, staggering him a few steps towards the man. Nearly butting his head into him Darren quickly apologized again before returned shakily towards his seat. "Hey what I miss?" he asked casually. He was just in time to hear Eisi's remark about tea. "Is good yes?" he asked giving a nonchalant smile at Eisi befroe looking back at Xelin. He already forgot most of the anger he had towards the man and merely worked to exaggerate Eisi's actions as he turned his ear to listen to what the bard had to say. "You have nothing interesting to share? How useless..." he cooed heartily, aiming a disarming smile at the other man.

"Maybe you play for us?" Darren offered, trying to help Xelin feel busy while they talked. "Where you been? I want to travel." Darren added as he leaned towards the table. "Maybe Eisi wants to come?" he asked, giving another smile at the less the focused Konti. He was happy to learn that Eisi wasn't good with alcohol either. Heh we have so much in common! We should date! he teased mentally. He regarded the bard's last question for a moment. And another moment. And another. And finally he had come up with something to say. "No. But I want to. Wouldn't you?" he replied back. Turning to Eisi he gave her a cliche drunken smile as he waited for Eisi to speak.

Eisi's eyes where feeling a bit heavy, she smiled as she started squinting at Xelin, "Stowies about Avaaa..n..thal?" She was having difficulty speaking but stuttered and slurred her way through it. "Telw you the truthy," hiccup.."sorwy," Hiccup.."I has nt..been hewe tha longg." hiccup, she leaned forward. "An all I can tell yo," Hiccup.."Is that it soooooo cold!" she made a large expression with her hands as she spoke the word cold as another hiccup fell through her lips. Her whole body bounced with each new hiccup that coursed through her lips.

"And I has them Hicceyupies." She leaned back as she didn't hear what Darren said about wanting to get to know her better. She ran her hand through her hair as she made a face as a fresh hiccup exited her lips. She pulled on the hair tie allowing her long white hair fall around her delicate face, that was now pink in color. "Who," she asked as she just notice the second half of Xelin's question, "Pervert hew?" She asked as she pointed at Darren and made an even drunken face to his drunken smile. She looked back eyes wide as she couldn't quite understand the question. "Naw, tis boy hew scawrd me." She bent forward in her chair as she put her finger over her lips, making a shushing sound. She then grabbed Xelin's shirt and pulled her self up to his ear, hiccuping right in it. "Hevs a pervert, twied to kip...no hold on..." she leaned back and looked at Darren, "You trwied to help me? Rwight or Kipnad me?" she didnt wait as she shrug and looked back at Xelin's as seriously as she could, "juwst hope he likess you," she said as seriously as she could. Hiccup..."Becauws I can tell youuu," she pointed at Darren and tried to look angry, "He hasa mobbish people thingy an hez will use it.." Eisi thought as she remembered just last night, dropping her hands to her side. Hiccup.

She felt hot, the room was spinning around and she could feel like she was spinning herself..."I don't feel so great..." she said as she placed a hand on the table, hoping that it will stabilize her. "Whaz in that drinky?" she said as she picked up the empty cup and stared at it like it was the most evil thing she had ever seen. "Its Empty...." she said as she placed it back on the table and looked at the fire. "I miss Mura..." she said as she sighed the hiccuped again. "tea doesnt taste funnie thew." she said as she crossed her arms and watched the flames flicker back and forth.

Xelin was getting more and more uncomfortable as the time went on. Under normal circumstances, he was more than ready to get drunk and party with the locals, especially when there was a pretty girl involved, but there was usually a kind of stipulation that came along with that and it was simply that he usually liked keeping up with the people he was drinking with. By now the girl whom he'd barely known was now almost gone, and to say nothing about the very weird gentleman who was apparently some kind of pervert and some kind of mobbish....people thingy.

Always the unfortunate side effect of dealing with locals, they all had a thousand stories and all of them were often horrifying. It's perhaps why he traveled so much, he simply couldn't get used to the wealth of people and their weirdness when he had his own to wrestle with.

It was at this point that Xelin got up and nodded towards the both of them. "You know, this seems....fun, but I think maybe I'm not the kind of person this bar's really for, or town really." That he agreed with, only madmen and bears could find this type of cold bearable. "I suppose I ought to take my leave, if I see you again, hopefully sober next time, we'll be sure to speak with one another." And with that he began to slowly walked away, inching towards the door. He was weary of the crazy one so he backed away from them lest he turn his back on him, survival instincts from Sunberth kicking.

Darren brows furrowed in slight annoyance as Xelin didn't answer his question. That is VERY rude! he thought angrily. That was rude right? ...or is it? he chuckled as he couldn't decide on being friendly or angry with the man. Oh no it's just this guy didn't have a drink yet he noted as he looked down on his own cup. He gestured for a refill as Eisi talked with Xelin, adopting a similar mannerism as Eisi. "Haha... silly Konti is getting drunkh" he laughed as he watched her explain how they met. "Nuhhhh nuhhh we were camping when you ran into a angry peoples. I hads to rescue you remember?" he reminded Eisi. Granted there was something messed up with that statement but it was a bother to think too much. Just focus on having fun- Hey!

He got closer to Eisi as she leaned on the table for support. "Hey... its okay. Darren is here!" he announced proudly as he moved to comfort the white haired Konti. He took a look at her cup, it was hard but there might be a clue to what was in there... He stopped mid investigation as he heard Eisi pout about her home in Mura. A pang of sadness resonated inside of him as he hugged Eisi this time, patting her head protectively to try to help her cope. He gave a somewhat detached smile at Xelin as if asking for some help cheering her up.

But instead he watched the bard do opposite of just that. Darren watched as Xelin started the motions to leave, making a flabby excuse as he moved away from the table. "That won't do..." Darren muttered as he tried to get up. He huffed slightly annoyed, his legs shaking in protest and the Konti in his arms providing a bit of challange to him. He whispered to the nearly unconscious Konti a plan to make Xelin stay, it was "what friends do after all" he ended as he urged the Konti up. He took a glance at the fleeting Xelin as he pulled himself out of the table to catch up with him.

"Come on Eisi, I'll go high and you go low" he whispered discretely as he waved to Xelin. "Hey... where are you going? You haven't a drink yet and we are just starting to have fun" he smiled as he offered the drink to him. Looking as if he forgot to to support Eisi he brought his free hand down to grab Xelin's shoulder, as he shouted out to Eisi. "Get his pants!" he shouted before he attempted to cram the drink down Xelin's throat.
