(OOC: sorry this was so late!)
Although he was thoroughly annoyed by the slurring fool more and more, he could concede that he was if nothing else interesting. He was certainly taken aback when he saw the supposed crazy man's eyes shift into a separate color. He had a quick moment of nervousness at the prospect that he might've angered a crazy man. In his experience that was very rarely a good move, especially when he was in a completely foreign land isolated from the rest of the world and surrounded by cold. He was relieved then, to see the crazy man just simply lose interest in him and shrug him off. He felt a little guilty, it seemed like this man was actually trying to engage him and maybe he was acting too much like an ass. Maybe if it wasn't so damn cold he'd be less, pardon the pun, frigid.
He perked up a bit when Eisi finally returned and he could see quite clearly that whatever was in her drink was effecting her quite a bit. It bought a small grin to his eyes seeing her somewhat off, drunk girls were always funny to him. Like Darren, Eisi also asked him about his story that was interrupted. At this point, however, Xelin was not very interested in himself.
"Actually, I was wondering you two could tell me more about this place, Avanthal. My story is fairly standard, just another bard along the lonely roads. What about you two? Do you know each other well?"
